Not sure what is going on. But there sure seems to be a major drop off with Weber and their products. Every other glow plug just does not work. Just can’t seem to get Smoker to max temp yet again.

I have lost count on the number of glow plugs Weber has either sent me free the first few years of owning my EX4 and the number I have had to purchase, but it has to be near 10. This includes a few of the brackets they fit into that have failed. I don't understand why this keeps happening or isn't being told to consumers.

It worked!! Really not much more to say but, the fact that I'm back up and running with my Weber pellet smoker is worth leaving a good review!

It lit right off all right after i replaced the igniter. It started a fire that literally warped the lid and everything. Ended up putting the pellet grill at the of our drive and a scrapper came and got it.

I have had my name on the list to be notified when available since the fall of 2024. It's now June of 2025 and still nothing. I haven't been able to use my Smokefire grill without a new glowplug. Attached is a photo of my Weber Smokefire, all I can do is look at it. Glow plugs unavailable for 6 months or more. I guess I need to go look at some other grills.

I bought this little Weber grill for searing steaks and anything searing and fast. I own a Weber pellet grill for low and slow but this little baby is awesome for burgers, steaks, hotdogs and fast cooking and it works great! You can get a lot of accessories for them too! It’s perfect size for me and my wife! Go get ya one!

I love this SmokeFire EX4 when it performs like it should. It is hands down the best grill I have ever owned. I hate it when it doesn’t perform and it’s always the glow plug. I replace it and it lasts for several cooks then stops working and requires cleaning of the electrical contact area in bracket/glow plug or replacing. This last time the insulated portion of the glow plug bracket has deteriorated and also needs replacing. During shutdown it smoked so badly I had to unplug it. At least redesign it so it’s more durable.

Glow plug came on time and was easy to install. I ordered 2 so I have a back up in the future.

We still don't know how to fix it. It still will not work and we are about to throw in trash. Someone on the list said check battery but don't have a clue where battery is. Please Help

Not very happy with my expensive Weber smoke fire Bbq. Have to replace the glow plug twice and it’s happening in the middle of my cooking time

I have had to replace this about every 10 months. The last one snapped in two when I was removing it.

I love my Webber smokefire but I have resigned myself to the fact that I have to keep a replacement glow plug available st all times. Very annoying but I have to continually order new glow plugs to be sure to have one when the current one goes out, which it will...Wish it wasn't so but every time I grill for a long period of time on my smoke fire , undoubtedly the glow plug will expire. But I love my smoke fire so I make sure the glow plug is working (and that I have a spare one) every time I use it, I guess its a small price to pay for a great smoker!

Plugs are expensive and don’t seem to have a very long life but you have to have them.

Purchased Weber Smoke Fire approximately three years ago and have had nothing but problems with it! Replaced glo plugs multiple times and fuses, parts not easy to find. Hopper does not feed well and not easy to fill. mostlt though the issue with the glo plugs is just un reasonable. Would not recomend this grill at all!

Similar other reviews, this glow plug is not lasting for more than a couple cooks. Failures happening in the middle of cooks forcing me to call an audible and find a different cook method.

When the plug is working the SmokeFire is great. But the poor reliability of the plug cause me worry and not using.

Glow Plugs seem to have a short life, have gone thru 6 in 2 years

To early to tell. I have replaced way too many since the first one. All of my replacement glow plugs have been short lived.

Seems after replacing the original glow plug after 1 year plus the next 2 that came later in the mail only lasted 2-3 cooks apiece put the original back in while ordering another it lasted another year. Will see on this next one. Seems they do not last . after new board temps have been good and fire doesn’t go out unless glow plug quits

I have had to replace this glow plug several times. Please look into this and come up with a solution. I am growing tired of having to purchase these so frequently.

I have the EX6 and I like others, have a problem with the Glow Plug going out. Seems like Weber would be able to fix this well known issue with the Pellet Grill.

I continue to have glow plug issues. Like most reviews, it is very frustrating that they it goes out too frequently. It is the only issue that continues. It is telling that the local hardware store stopped selling these.

I need to change the glowplugs every month, i aslo think its a problem with the internal termometer. Not possible to find a replacement termometer and I cant understand why the glowplug needs to be changed so often.

Since pre-ordering my EX4 in Jan 2020, I have gone through six of these glow plugs. While Weber, has sent me 3 replacements, I am now having to purchase them at random intervals. Some one has to have a better product out there that lasts.
