Do not buy this shelf. Its flimsy and not up to par with most Weber products. I have had it less than a month and its already rusting. Its cheaply made and not true stainless steel, more of a cheap brushed finish. Ohh and Weber won’t replace it because it rusts, they say its “your fault for proper maintenance”

The table was easy to install. It has added the need workspace and is easy fold down and clean

I’m not sure who OKed this as an official accessory, but it doesn’t match the solid build and materials of the SmokeFire smoker itself. This looks and feels very much like a Wish-made knock-off.

The metal is very thin, which causes it to flex under just a moderate amount of weight. The attachment points are very loose; you’ll need to be careful when raising and lowering it, so that it doesn’t slide right off. I’m hesitant to use it, because I’m afraid that my food will end up on the ground when inevitably collapses or just falls off.

I’d avoid this, and either build your own shelf, or just use your deck table like I do.

Very disappointed in the quality of this shelf. It is made of very thin metal with no reinforcement, VERY flimsy, and doesn't even hard mount to the grill. it "clips" in place on two of the bolts and a couple of grommets to keep it "level". I had a PitBoss with a shelf on the front in the past and it was WAAAY more sturdy. While I like the Weber SmokeFire so far, this shelf is completely overpriced and/or under built. I don't mind paying real money for quality. But this shelf is not quality.

Easy installation and enjoy the extra work space for grilling. Shelf is sturdy.

I purchased this shelf with the grill. When the lid id closed it covers a majority of the shelf. Grill has to be open for it to be useful. If the grill has two smaller handles run vertically on the sides of the lid the setup would be 100% better.

I bought this product because I do a lot of smoking and it would be handy work area. Two complaints. The distance from the 'shelf top' to the bottom of the lid handle is an issue. Putting items onto the shelf is limited as to how close you can put it to the barrel because the handle gets in the way. And also, unless you remember to move your items away from the barrel, the handle comes crashing down on them.

Second , it is not 'stainless'. I have all sorts of sauce stains on the shelf that won't wash off, even with strong degreaser sprays.

The tray is useful when the grill lid is up and you need space for a tray when pulling food off the grill. When the lid is closed, you lose around 1/3 of shelf because of the lid handle overlapping. It's also starting to rust and i've had it less than 6 months. I keep my grill covered at all times with the Weber EX4 smokefire cover. The metal is pretty thin as well. Would i recommend...it is useful when pulling food off and the grill lid is up. It's nice to have something in front of you when pulling food off. So i lean towards yes. I just don't like how it's starting to get rust spots already. I paid a premium so it is disappointing.

The folding front shelf is a great idea in theory. Unfortunately the execution is disappointing. It is serviceable though and will suffice until an aftermarket or updated version comes out.

The material is way to thin and the shelf is not as sturdy compared to some of the competition.

Works great when good is up and handle not in way. Just make sure good is up before placing food on table.

The folding shelf comes in very handy when cooking small items on a veggie pan.

Sturdy and helpful. Lots of room to put cooking items and not worried about it falling or bending.

Material could be just a little thicker gauge. Seems a little flimsy on side mounts.

Great accessory for our SmokeFire. Easy to install

I have found this addition to the Pellet Grill to be very usefully when have to work with meat mid-grill. It makes it very easy to remove the meat and adjust before loaded it back into the grill. As I don't always use the second shelf the storage of the second shelf is very helpful. Quite a functional and practical addition to the grill.

Great Quality Add on for your SmokeFire. Its folds away nicely when not in use and so it can neatly fit under the BBQ Cover.

This is a well built unit with quality materials. The heat up time for the burner is great. I purchased the front shelf accessory which is very useful. This shelf should be a standard item included with the unit. Software/operator panel is easy to use. Unsure if temp probes and software are accurate for temperature readings. I am still getting familiar with the unit but love it so far.

This shelf is a necessity and I think it should come on the grill when you guy it. But since it doesn’t, you’ll need to buy this. It’s very nice and folds down. Helps a-lot when grilling and taking things on and off a platter.

A must for SmokeFire owners. I was not sure at first but I'm glad I did buy it.

While this shelf gets the job done, like other reviewers, I've found it to be pretty flimsy. And the folding mechanism is light-weight also. I does not seem at the same quality level as the rest of the Weber Smokefire.

OK, review of the Smoke fire Stainless Steel folding shelf. Do not buy- over priced- does not sit flush on the front- not wide enough- not worth the money- another part not needed, cheers.

Nice little shelf, does it's job fine. The support parts of the table mount could stand to be a bit hardier. I would get it again if I had a do over.
