Yksi halvimpia Canonin linssejä. Verraten 45mm f1.2 linssiin hieman pehmeämpi kuvanlaatu. Kokonsa ja hintansa puolesta hyvin mukava linssi. Tarkkuus on käytössä riittävä.

STM on hieman äänekkäämpi kuin mihin olen tottunut USM linssien kanssa. Videotyöhön focuspull on hirman hidas ja äänekäs.

Perfect lens if you start and you don’t want to spend a lot for the first time. Having this only one and satisfied. Of course, if you are at a studio, you will need to go farther to capture full-height pictures, however it doesn’t affect much your experience. Overall, I love it. If you’ve got the ideas, know how to work with the camera, this lens will support you but will not do the job for you.

RF-versio toi ehkä oman laukun käytetyimmän objektiivin tälle vuosituhannelle. Control ring kätevä.

I bought this to replace the equivalent lens in the EF mounting which had gotten a little tired.

The optics were as superb as the older version - if anything slightly better, but the action was disappointing. I'd expected the same kind of performance out of the autofocus as for the other native Canon rf lens I've got - the little 18-45, which is lightning fast and silent. This is neither and that was a disappointment, as I hope to use it for video. I did actually return it thinking it was faulty but once they'd explained and we'd looked at another new RF 50 1.8, could see the differences in construction. It's still a great lens, though.

When used with the R50, autofocus was stellar and the picture was very good. The aperture lends itself to wonderful separation between subjects. At the price-range is quite unbeatable

Etsin uutta 50mm objektiivia uudelle rungolleni, ja tämä pisti silmään hintansa vuoksi. Tarve ei ole vielä kovin ammatillinen, joten tämä objektiivi sopii omaan valokuvaustoimintaani oikein hyvin.

Objektiivi on loistava hintaansa nähden. Tämä on loistava objektiivi aloittelijoille ja normaali harrastelijoille. Tästä on hyvä aloittaa, varsinkin jos on kiinnostunut portrettien kuvauksesta. Tällä pääsee myös kokemaan ja harjoittelemaan hyvin bokeh:ta.

Olen jonkin verran käyttänyt jo omaa canon R100 kameraa ja ostin tämän siihen lisäksi. Saa tarkkoja kuvia. Kuvaajana pitää mennä tietenkin kauemmas mut tämä ei haittaa.

Objektiivi on hyvä laatuinen. Valokuvan laatu on tosi hyvä.

Loistava peruslinssi ja toimii hyvin. Kevyt ja pieneen tilaan menevä valovoimainen linssi.

I bought this lens to replace one that I used when I owned a Canon DSLR. I tend to use this size of lens for evening low light street and architecture photography. I have only owned it for a month and haven't used it much. I did the usual testing of it when I first got it and I was very impressed with the results. I am looking forward to shorter days so that I can use it more.

Edullinen ja ostin tarpeseen. Tätä kehuuttiin että on hyvä motokuvissa ja helpppo sumentaa taustaa. Vielä ollut vähäisellä käytöllä, mutta hyvälä tuntunut.

Caused error 60 after 3rd use. Even before it broke the image quality was pretty poor. STM issues may obviously been a contributing factor here.

Hyvin piirtävät objektiivit ovat yleensä kalliita. Tämä ei ole. Erityisesti APS-C -kennoiseen runkoon kiinni ruuvattuna tämä on riittävän hyvä muotokuvaobjektiivi 98%:lle kuvaajista.

Jokaisen Canon-järkkärin ostajan pitäisi ostaa tämä objektiivi vain nähdäkseen, kuinka hyviä kuvia sillä kameralla oikeasti saa.

I'm not sure if mine is faulty or it's how it's supposed to be but it keeps hunting for focus, keeps popping in and out while camera is on, I've noticed a lot of chromatic aberration if your focus is at something towards the sky or even with a lot of highlights around the subject. I can't manage to manual focus on it although the manul focus is selected on the lens. I'm not quite sure I like it yet. I should probably test it more. It's good in low light paired with r6 mark 2, seems sharp and if you shoot at f1.8 as closely as possible to your subject, you get a really shallow depth of field.

Canon R6 and the RF50mm f1.8 is a street camera wonderment. Incredibly fast to focus and detect/track faces. Great depth of field shooting @ f1.8 and bokeh. Very light and an incredible value.

This is a wonderful light weight, well made, affordable lens, and a perfect match for my Canon EOS RP
