This phone not only looks great - it IS great. If you were to actually try the phone out for yourself you would realise that all the people and 'independent review sites' (that are paid by Samsung to favour the latest Galaxy phone) haven't even tried this phone out properly. The photos it takes are sublime and are amazing in low light. But having a Sony sensor is only half the picture - if the manufacturer has rubbish software to process the photos taken with that sensor you're still going to end up with poor photos. Happily, like I found in the very first Zenfone, ASUS are extremely adept at image processing, and I've captured some beautiful results.

The battery is epic, in the proper definition of that word. I usually only need to charge up once a day. And if I get too busy to use my phone it's less than that.

What I want to mention next is the sound. ASUS have made a clear effort here to improve the sound quality over the Zenfone 6. Specifically, when I turned the sound right down on the Zenfone 6, there was hissing. When I do the same on the Zenfone 7 there is ZERO hissing. It is great that ASUS have paid attention to details like this because it is one of the key factors of an all-round phone experience. Although the sound is a but unbalanced, this is always going to be the case when you don't have front facing speakers. The sound is very nice and loud, and is great for audiobooks and podcasts - you won't need a Bluetooth speaker for those.

The Zenfone 7 Pro is not as easy to navigate with 1 hand as the Zenfone 6 and I would have liked to have had a more narrow phone. But it's not huge.

One disappointment of late has been flaky Bluetooth connection to my various audio devices I use with it. Currently there is no proper fix for this - only vague comment section suggestions to try.

Also the OLED screen is not as bright as the LCD screen on my Zenfone 6. This is a let down, and I am sad that ASUS caved in to those endless comments that bang on relentlessly about how superior OLED screens are. Seeing as I've used the Zenfone 6 and now the Zenfone 7 Pro, I can assure you these people are wrong.

But overall this phone mashes through just about anything I throw at it. Any game I've tried is smooth as silk.

The phone does not overheat to an intense degree. Of course it's had flutters here and there - every single phone I have ever owned has flutters here and there - not least with the amount of use and things I ask it to do.

The Zenfone 7 Pro is a sublime phone. I just wish ASUS would sell it direct to more territories!

Päätin ottaa kokeeksi hyvän Android-puhelimen testatakseni sen toimivuutta ja suorituskykyä iPhonen suhteen ja kyllästyttyäni datan siirron vaikeuksiin iPhoneista.

Odotin muutaman kuukauden, että Asus saisi uuden mallinsa markkinoille. Olen hankkinut Asusilta jo pari premium Zenbook -läppäriä ja olen ollut tyytyväinen niiden laatuun ja hinta-laatu -suhteeseen. Lisäksi Asus ei ole kiinalainen valmistaja.

Puhelimessa on markkinoiden parhaat tekniset ominaisuudet. Se on hämmästyttävän nopea ja olen nyt päässyt kokeilemaan myös 5G-maailmaa. Puhelin ei ole halpa mutta huomattavasti edullisempi kuin isompien brandivalmistajien ehkä vähän heikommalla suorituskyvylläkin varustellut versiot. Ja ison akun takia ei ole vielä kertaakaan mennyt laite pimeäksi reissussa.

Laitteen ostajan on hyvä tiedostaa, että kyseessä on kilpailijoita selvästi painavampi puhelin ison akun ja kääntyvän kameramoduulin vuoksi.

Laitteen kamerat tuntuvat hyviltä ja selfie-kamerana on varmasti markkinan paras. Siinä mielessä epärationaalinen hankinta, kun selfiet jäävät osaltani vähiin.

mielestäni hankalampi käyttää kuin vanha zenfone max pro m2, kamera on ainakin alkuun hiukan outo.

The battery isn't that efficient. Barely lasts a full day. Needs more optimization.

Also, the camera opens up during video call from whatsapp and duo, messenger,etc before answering call. If it's lying down, the motor creates obstruction and the phone starts to jolt. Please fix this
