Lovely tv but said to say, it has also started to freeze and turn off due to motherboard heat issues after the tv for just over 3 years old. So many people having the same issue, LG you should be dealing with this correctly and not just giving the same boring reply to everyone (out of warranty, contact us blah blah). Accept that the fault lies with lack of airflow and heat distribution. This is not cheap tvs to buy and we expect it to last alot longer.

Two weeks ago would have give this TV 5 stars. Then the TV started freezing with a high pitched buzzing sound and switched it self off. Dose this every few.hours of watching. What a pile of crap. Contacted LG thought TV had a 5 year warranty but apparently this is not covered. Never buy one again, and recommend others look elsewhere customer service is abysmal. Had to go back to a 12 year old samsung they seem a lot more rebus, perhaps the parts are superior?

Was good till the main PCB and power board failed richer sounds replaced and repaired under warranty. Was turning itself off when board got to 19.5 centigrade.

Trash - went fault with barely any use and lg arent interested.

Operating system is frustratingly slow and the mainboard failed after 2 years

I bought this a year ago. The clarity is good but it is getting restarted all of a sudden. Last week it restarted many times and got a pixelated video once.

Superb tv,the 1st oled I've had,and definitely won't be the last.The picture is amazing and if your into gaming this tv does the lot.A++++

Bought to play Xbox series x on that doesn’t work and today the whole tv shut down after making the loudest dying noise ever like an untuned radio. It has come back on but still can’t play Xbox on it. Absolute waste of money.

Easy to set up.

Very good and fluid OS with easy to use Magic remote.

Great TV, cannot fault it. colours are definitely more vivid

Good quality picture but very poor sound quality. My older LG Oled curved TV was better quality.

I looked at this TV following the reviews in Which magazine. They were bang on. It is a great TV, with lots of options. I am still getting to grips with all of them.

This is an excellent TV and the picture quality is superb. I like the idea of it not having backlights and the contrast is second to none as there is no bleed from surrounding pixels.

The TV performs brilliantly and picture quality is excellent whatever media I use.

I noticed that TVs from 2021 are much more better then from 2020. Colours, pictures sharpness etc. If I could choose, instead LG CX 55 from 2020 I would choose definitely LG C1 55 from 2021.

Just a superb technological experience in my living room

I am very happy with LG Oled TV. It has surprisingly great sound quality with nice bass. It’s good to watch movies on Netflix etc. but not so great to watch standard TV. I mean maybe it’s something about the settings to explore further. I just don’t like the look of standard tv programs, I feel my old plasma had nicer colours. It’s different if you watch movies, movies are top class!

Good all round TV, picture not as good as promised in the shop

This TV is a game changer for us, as a family, but especially for me personally. I've always craved real quality and never really had it at home, until now. Wall mounted. Combined with my Sonos Beam and the 2 rear Sonos Play 1s as surround sound is soooo good. I'm sure it could be even better (Sonos Arc and a Sub etc), but it's certainly the best I've ever had at home. The picture blew me away - my wife even said how good it is, and she doesn't even really care about this stuff!

Also, the remote / menu / navigation is great.

Full feature OLED, amazing picture with the right content, really good picture with terrestrial TV. Easy to use, great little remote which seems to operate all my connected peripherals. Really pleased and would recommend.

Picture quality is superb, the user interface is fast and responsive, a lot of settings to tweak, impressive sound and beautiful design, I would prefer if it was uniformly thicker instead of having that bump on the lower portion

Excellent picture and smart remote system, sound OK but not so good played through the Satellite box. Although it is smart connected with audio system it turns the system off when itself is turned off but does not automatically switch it on, like my previous television did, so it requires a manual switch on for the audio and then mute the television.
