After unpacking the headphones from the magnetically sealed box they came in I noticed that they had already accumulated a little bit of dust. The silicone that makes them comfortable to use is also a dust magnet. Luckily they are water repellent and can be easily cleaned. The Powerhook works well, they haven't fallen off once. However, since there is no power button, and they turn on by stretching out the hook, it is not possible to turn them off while you are wearing them. I liked the sound quality and the fact that they keep out some background noise. I always use both, but you can wear just one at a time if you want to. My sister recommends this to prolong the battery life. But as they last hours between charges I haven't had a problem with them dying on me. i have however had a problem with my phone dying on me. The bluetooth completely drains my Huawei phone battery in a few hours, so unless i want to carry a battery pack for my phone, it will always die before the headphones do. On longer hikes I stick to corded headphones. The first time I connected to my laptop I had to try a few times before I could get it to work, now that they've pared they connect on their own right away. My phone picked them up right away. I have had problems with them disconnecting at times, but that could be my phone's fault. What isn't my phone's fault though is that sometimes when I'm on the phone I accidentally mute my microphone. Then I have to turn them off because I am unable to un-mute myself. I also cannot intentionally mute myself. The instructions say to touch the headphones for two seconds but I cannot get it to work. Other than that the touch interface work okay as long as I am not wearing gloves or mittens. Another problem I've had is that sometimes the 'change song' command doesn't work. It works for a while, but then it stops working again. I've found that manually changing to the next song will somehow 're-focus' the headphones to their task. But it's annoying that it doesn't just work. Also, they will not fit inside a motorcycle helmet.
