Bose Smart Soundbar 300 -soundbar, musta

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 4 weeks ago ago, I have to say it’s an excellent sound bar. It comes extremely well packaged, it’s a little bit of a faff to set up but once you’ve got the knack it’s easy to use, the sound for an average living room is very good, there’s no need for a sub, watching films with the sound bar makes it more realistic and gives you a cinema feel. Overall I’m very happy with the product and would recommend to friend.

My only downfall is that it’s a US plug, if you are considering buying this product make sure you’ve got the adapter to hand.

Previously had bulky other well known brand one, exchanged without tears, bose does great job. It's small, portable, but powerful at the same time. Love that it has alexa buiin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking to add a soundbar to my tv for ages and knowing the good reputation that Bose has I have not been disappointed.

The box that arrived was HUGE, and I thought that there was no way it was doing to fit in front of my TV but the box is very deceptive and the soundbar fitted in perfectly. It’s a sleek looking long black soundbar that’s looks perfect in front of my black TV.

One thing to note is there a couple extra things you will need before you can install the soundbar, you will need an HDMI cable and a 2 pin adaptor (as my soundbar did not come with a UK plug socket). Luckily I had both and so was able to install straight away. Installation could not be easier, hats off to the Bose tech team, you simply download the Bose Music app and following the simple step by step instructions.

We love the fact that you can connect Amazon Alexa to it, again this was done some easily, and I quite offer come downstairs to my boys having a mini disco in the front room!

The sound quality is simply amazing, it adds a whole different level to watching the TV in some films it actually feels like you are actually there! The bass is fantastic and not too bassy. I have accidentally turned the soundbar off a couple of times and you can instantly tell the difference and it is quickly put back on. The only niggle I have is that it needs to be in an HDMI port that supports sound, my TV only has one of these, and by plugging the soundbar into this port it looses out volume control in that we can no longer see what number the TV volume is on. However this really is nit picking and is definitely worth losing for the sound quality that is gained by using the soundbar.

Hands down I would not choose a different soundbar, Bose you have not let me down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this just over a month ago, I have set it up in my lounge and I can say I’m glad I bought it. I know it’s not the cheapest to buy but the sound quality is fantastic, even when volume on maximum the clarity remains very good. I’ve never had a soundbar before, so when I set this up with my tv I was like wow! It also has built in Alexa which works very smoothly. I absolutely love this product and the excellent customer service and after care. I will most certainly buy again from Bose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought an OLED TV and though they are exceptionally impressive to watch and just even look at, the speakers are really not up the task. I have a home cinema but don't always want to turn the system on, especially when it comes to general viewing. This is where the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 comes in and solves all my problems.

The unit is sturdy and very well built (it is after all made by Bose); I was able to connect to it via the app on my iPhone with ease and managed to go through the setup process without any hiccups. From the app you can setup the Amazon assistant Alexa and also Google which is very handy. You can also connect to multiple music services (like Amazon Prime, Deezer, Spotify and Tune in radio), but it would be good to be aware you can't connect to apple music. As the bar supports Airplay you can however use that if you want to access your Apple Music.

The quality is great out of the box (compared to the TV) but I found that boosting the centre speaker a little and maxing out the bass (with no distortion at all) was my preference. I noticed you can also pair additional Bose speakers to the system which could perhaps make people with an older home cinema basically part with it - as you essentially create a similar setup from Bose, especially if paired with a woofer.

For me, the most impressive feature is that you don't really feel the sound is coming from a single source straight ahead of you and upon walking into the room my wife immediately noticed the difference and commented on how good it sounded.

You can connect the bar to the TV via HDMI, optical (cable included - probably the purest option) and also bluetooth (which also worked with relative ease but the sound quality suffers compared to optical).

Overall this is an exceptional soundbar that can also be wall mounted. Please be aware that if your tv is not wall mounted and has a stand with no clearance you will have a problem in terms of where to run the power cable from (and the optical or HDMI) i.e. you will not be able to pass the cables behind the tv as the bar sits in front of your screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this soundbar a few weeks and we love it , we had a really old soundbar and didn’t realise how different the sound could be until we got this Bose one. The sound is rich and clear and full of depth. My kids love using it for their Spotify and the Bose app and set up is easy to do/use. It even makes old films that don’t have the sound quality of modern films sound so much better. It fits nicely just under the stand of the tv too.I would highly recommend this soundbar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research looking for a soundbar for best dialogue I opted for this as whilst expensive do have a few bose items and always found them to be very good. The speech mode is perfect and does do what you'd expect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second soundbar that I have recently purchased and overall have been extremely impressed. For a soundbar so small in size, the clarity of sound and deepness of bass is unmatched. At first i was a little reluctant with a a soundbar with no subwoofer, but the built in one sounds superb.

The app was easy enough to setup, but did take a few go's. It only worked when i turned my location services on for some reason. The downside is that anyone who is not too savy with apps might find it a bit tricky. Also, you are obliged to used the app as there arent any physical buttons to change settings with.

Overall though, the sound is excellent, especially when it comes to voice clarity.

Had this for a month now and the sound quality is brilliant !!!!
