Bose Smart Soundbar 300 -soundbar, musta

Had this for a month now and the sound quality is brilliant !!!!

I brought this soundbar to fit into a TV stand cabinet, so width was limited in size, but not in sound quality.

This little soundbar didn’t disappoint and provides plenty of sound quality, richness and full volume.

I mainly brought it to couple up to my Bluetooth record player, which it does perfectly, but equally it connects to our Alexa music and obviously the TV.

I did have to by a HDMI arc lead as an extra, but worth it since now the TV recognises the soundbar and plays all the sound output through this.

Excellent sound bar with adjustable treble base etc love the built-in Alexa.

After much research looking for a soundbar for best dialogue I opted for this as whilst expensive do have a few bose items and always found them to be very good. The speech mode is perfect and does do what you'd expect.

The first thing to note is the versatility. Good clear sound for the TV and radio, rich deep sound for music and a simple interface with Alexa to control loads of other things.

The next key point to make is that the sound quality is really good. Its sounds natural and clear, with a feeling of depth without too much bass. This has made watching movies together a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This may sound totally naïve, but we didn’t know that sound quality could make such a difference to our enjoyment of films and TV. For this alone I would recommend it to anyone. It easily connects to our Bose wireless headphones, which means you can listen to TV and music clearly even with other distractions going on within the same space.

As a designer I love the simple elegance of the design. It is heavy to hold, feels strong and well built. There aren’t loads of buttons or confusing options. All the fine tuning is done on an app on your phone. It’s a good size, not too long and not too short. We have 43 inch Samsung TV (Q60T) and it fits below the TV between the legs. If it were taller this could be a problem.

It all works. We have connected it to an old TV and a brand new one, it links with Alexa and connects to our phones. We have a low tolerance threshold for making things work and never read instructions. There is no need, everything works as you would expect it to straight out of the box.

In summary it is excellent, and not too expensive given the versatility and quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was it looked quite sleek and modern but heavy! It was very easy to connect to TV and pairing it to the Bose didnt take long. The sound is very impressive from the first go. Its like a 3D version in sound quality. It enhances the total experience of listening to Music. Every genre of music is so distinctively crisp and wide. Its a total surround sound experience within such a compact soundbar.

It has many great features and best of all i could enable the Alexa app on it. For me its one device that is enough for having a home theatre setup and a wise investment. Super happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that I Bose Soundbar, I was a little dubious that the sound would be as good as my previous Livestyle set up but I was pleasantly surprised at how good this system is. The sound fills the room and as an added bonus I can integrate my other Bose speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking to add a soundbar to my tv for ages and knowing the good reputation that Bose has I have not been disappointed.

The box that arrived was HUGE, and I thought that there was no way it was doing to fit in front of my TV but the box is very deceptive and the soundbar fitted in perfectly. It’s a sleek looking long black soundbar that’s looks perfect in front of my black TV.

One thing to note is there a couple extra things you will need before you can install the soundbar, you will need an HDMI cable and a 2 pin adaptor (as my soundbar did not come with a UK plug socket). Luckily I had both and so was able to install straight away. Installation could not be easier, hats off to the Bose tech team, you simply download the Bose Music app and following the simple step by step instructions.

We love the fact that you can connect Amazon Alexa to it, again this was done some easily, and I quite offer come downstairs to my boys having a mini disco in the front room!

The sound quality is simply amazing, it adds a whole different level to watching the TV in some films it actually feels like you are actually there! The bass is fantastic and not too bassy. I have accidentally turned the soundbar off a couple of times and you can instantly tell the difference and it is quickly put back on. The only niggle I have is that it needs to be in an HDMI port that supports sound, my TV only has one of these, and by plugging the soundbar into this port it looses out volume control in that we can no longer see what number the TV volume is on. However this really is nit picking and is definitely worth losing for the sound quality that is gained by using the soundbar.

Hands down I would not choose a different soundbar, Bose you have not let me down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our living room is about 35m2 and one speaker is enough to make a hole room field with sound. I'm not talking about simple straight sound pointing at you from one direction, I'm talking about overwhelming experience where only source of vocal can be found. That speaker is BOSE smart sound bar 300. I'm a fan of floor standing speakers with 5.1 or 5.2 configuration and powerful amplifier to run them, hence my thoughts were very sceptical about trying just a sound bar. I was mistaken. Before unpacking, my first impression was: "that's heavy"! With previous experience I knew that heavy speaker is a good speaker, in most cases. It's all black with the black mesh on the front and sidewalls, small BOSE logo on top of it and slim led light above the mesh in one of the corners. Very elegant and, I think, would blend to any interior design. I placed it just below the TV. Optical wire to tv, power cable to wall socket and you almost ready to go. To make the most of it you need to download the BOSE music app. Just from the habit I had disabled the location on the app and because of that it took me a bit longer to connect to speaker. After realising my mistake it was 2 min job. When I power it on, my jaw just dropped. The welcome theme impressed me so much that I wanted to try it in every possible way. Firstly I started from news channel. Voice of the reporter was very clear and didn't disappear in surrounding sounds. Was pointing straight at me and other sound made the space I could nearly sink into. Impressive!! I'm a big fan of sci-fi movies so my second choice was an Avengers movie. Again, characters' voices were coming straight from TV, but sounds of starships, explosions and other effects where everywhere! Few times I had to look to the side because I thought something was coming my direction! Sound quality, for me, it's close to perfection. Sharp highs, very wide mids and bass!! I just don't know how is it possible to squeeze so much bass into such a tiny speaker!!! It doesn't make the furniture vibrate but feeling it makes it's close to it. Impressive!! After news and movie was time to check full capability of it. Music. I don't have favourite genre so I tried every kind. From electric house, through hard rock and finishing on rap and reggae. My conclusion was the same, perfect quality to the point where those small speakers couldn't produce any more low tones. BUT it didn't disturb the quality overall, just the bass was less hearable. Perfect solution to enjoy the loud sound. After few hours of playing with settings through the app and getting more excited was time to check how "smart" it is. When setting up the app you are connecting your sound bar to wifi. Therefore you can stream any music or podcast straight on your device. "Alexa" commands were clearly recognized by speaker even while listening loud. You can control all the devices connected to your home network from your living room jut talking to the speaker. How crazy is that !! Impressed!! Finally I tried the most basic function these days, bluetooth. No delay, great sound like before, no disruption, just perfect. After few hours of use I wondered. If the speaker is already nearly perfect how would it be to have the surround speakers and subwoofer paired up?! So, conclusion is simple, perfect sound bar for small to medium space and added the sub and surround speakers even for large ones. Functionality is endless and pleasure of using it immense. I would recommend it to anyone with limited space but still with desire of perfect surround system imitation.
