My Tenor’s
Bought as A Birthday Present , To Replace my Oakley Thump , Really Pleased .Great Sound
Good idea, but big design flows
Very disappointed in Tenor Sunglasses. As idea and sound quality is good, design of sunglasses is bad. They are not very comfortable to wear, far too tight. Not recharging when in case and must be charged only bu connecting cable directly to glasses with really short cable, what makes it unable to charge it in the bus or train. Overall barely worth score of 2 out of 5.
Tuote erittäin hyvä
Tykkäsin tuotteesta, Todella paljon. Näillä on mukava kesällä mennä kaikkialle!
Pete Kosola18–24vGreat sounding glasses. Not just a Gimmick!
When I first bought these glasses I thought they were just a gimmick. Liking technology I thought I would give them a go. I am very impressed to say the least. The sound quality is typically Bose. The design of the glasses is good even including the speakers. The reason only given a 4 out of 5 is that the sound does leak if turned up too loud so would be annoying to others close by if volume up. Also I bought the blue lenses too which in my opinion make the glasses look cheap. I'll stick with the black!
Nice glasses, but gimmicky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Frames Tenor visually appear to be the same as any pair of big framed sunglasses, however, the arms look and feel very thick due to the electronics in them. Sadly though, these Frames are let down by cheap feeling plastic and a poorly fitted finish, this is disappointing considering Bose are renowned for producing high quality products with excellent finish and design.
The headphones are well equipped in the sound department, with clear sounding speakers position conveniently near the ear controlled both by the built in controls as well as through the Bose app on both Android and Apple devices. The music sounds clear and vibrant yet doesn't over-power the surroundings allowing for a very natural mixture of both. The microphones produce great audio in phone calls allowing convenience in all situations. I thoroughly enjoyed the lenses, which are clear and protect your eyes from the sun with high quality polarised lens.
Overall the sunglasses are still a gimmick but hopefully further design tweaks will allow greater adjustability for comfort and more intuitive controls for ease of use.
Tenor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tenor frames as a gift and can say that I was really impressed with the sound quality and ease of set up.
The frames are really easy to use and are up and running in minutes.
I was surprised that despite the chunky arms of the glasses, they fit really comfortably
From a personal perspective, I think a mat finish would be better as the glossy finish makes them look a bit cheap.
Bad fitting and Poor Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sunglasses sadly fit very tightly around the head and lack any adjustment for comfort with very poor and sharp build quality. The actual interaction with the sunglasses can be difficult and not user friendly, this can be frustrating to use. The sound quality is impressive for the size but lacks any real depth that Bose audio quality always has.
Overall I wouldn't recommend but maybe next iteration will improve on the few flaws the design has.
Brilliant sound quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are excellent lightweight and compact the sound is superb
Fantastic sunglasses with a great bonus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid runner, these sunglasses give me the benefit of being able to run on open roads without the danger of having ear buds in. The open ear audio allows me to be able to experience the noise around me whilst listening to my music. This means that I can hear when cars are approaching.
The glasses are comfortable to wear, and easy to use. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose. Impressively rich bass given their small form factor.
The on glasses controls make it easy to operate your phone without needing to get it out of your pockets.
The polarised lenses that come with the glasses are fantastic, and if you have never had polarised before, you are missing out. The fact that you can swap them out and create your own style is a real bonus.
The only reason that I give the glasses 4 stars is because of their limited use. You cant really sit at your desk at work and use these headphones. For this reason you will need to own another pair of headphones.
If you spend a lot of time outdoors and want to be able to listen to your music, definitely consider these.
Bose sunglasses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sunglasses are great because they are like no others. I love that you can have stylish sunglasses as well as built in speakers, the speakers have great quality sound and and are very easy to link up to your bluetooth. I love the look of the sunglasses as they are very on trend and even with speakers built in they look great. Overall i would deffo recommend these sunglasses as they are brilliant and one step ahead in technology.
Simply awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sunglasses are simply amazing. The sound quality is unbelievable. The set up and controls are so easy to do. It works with your phone so you can answer calls on the move.
Decent sunglasses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great glasses, high quality of sound, I really love these glasses the style of them is a 6/10 and they are very expensive but they are such a good idea I cannot fault the overall concept.. wireless, easy to charge and easy to use.
Really cool idea, but not for everyday use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, what an interesting concept! Being able to listen to music while having your ears completely open is really intriguing.
The sound quality is very good, as you'd expect from Bose. The best way to describe the feeling is that it is as if you were in a room that had a speaker playing music next to you. You can listen to the music but you are also hearing 100% of the environment.
The frames are fine, although given that they are a "one size fits all", they will not be for everyone. The concept of swapping lenses is interesting... but I don't think they really work for anything other than dark sunglasses.
Which takes me to the main drawbacks:
- While the idea of being able to hear the surroundings is good in principle, it means that if you are on a busy road you'll just, you know, struggle to hear the music!
- as sunglasses go, it is good and decently stylish. But once the sun is gone or you go into an enclosed space (e.g.: train, bus, store) where you'll take the sunglasses off, then... how do you listen to the music?
Overall a good piece of tech but very niche. It can be a replacement for sunglasses, but they are a little heavy and bulky due to the electronics and can be tiring after a while. But it just can't be a replacement for earbuds: once you don't want to / can't wear them but still want to listen to music, you will need to take your traditional earbuds/headphones with you!
- While the idea of being able to hear the surroundings is good in principle, it means that if you are on a busy road you'll just, you know, struggle to hear the music!
Smart glasses are here
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Bose Frame Tenor glasses for the last 3 weeks and they have exceeded my expectations more than I had imagined. The glasses come in a premium case that would rival anything from Ray-Bans. Set up was fairly straightforward with easy controls to pair them to your phone as well as basic music controls.
The volume on the music isn’t very high and I found that I got the best out of them when wearing in enclosed spaces. It feels very refreshing to listen to music from behind your ears without having earbuds or headphones hanging in or over your head.
They are a bit heavy on the ears and I wish they could be a little lighter. Battery life is excellent and I am still going on 3 weeks with a single charge.
As a pair of sunglasses, they do look the part and I found I had adequate protection for my eyes while out in the sun.
Overall a great product from Bose which ties in with their excellent range of noise cancellation headphones.
Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fantastic the sound quality is amazing yet give you great social awareness and can quite easily hear conversations
They are really good sunglasses aswel
My only downside is I'm a tradesman so my hands are not fresh moisturised soft skin and do appear to put minor surface scratches where the gesture controls are.
Other than the previous tiny issue above I really can't fault these amazing piece of kit
This concept shouldn't work but it does!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was sceptical about these, but I'm a Bose fan, and again these do disappoint!
They are comfortable to wear, there is no awkwardness to them, they do really look like any other sunglasses. Sound wise, again, not overpowering so you are able to hear what is going on around you on a walk. I really like these a lot !
Great sound, good sunglasses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the sound from these things is remarkable. There are two tiny slots in either arm that direct the audio into your ear, and the audio quality is really good. You can still hear ambient sounds though, so these would be great for walking or outdoor exercising.
The sunglasses themselves are fine, depending on your head these may feel a little tight, which means wearing them for long periods of time gets a bit uncomfortable.
Great sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these sunglasses for around a month. They have great sound quality they are easy to set up and use. My only issues where they feel really plastic and are a little tight fitting. Overall they are fantastic
Cycling essential
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the minute you put these on you will be amazed and the sound, great bass, clear vocals while have no loss to your surroundings, so for me they are perfect for my daily commute to work, they allow me to cycle to work while being able to hear all the traffic around me, allowing to know i am safer on the road and still enjoy my music and podcasts.. only downside is i cycle home late at night and cant use them, but this is a minor grievance, and cant wait for the spring and more sunshine,
Good product for a sunny day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of these frames are so good. The sound also, astonishing, but you will miss a little bit the bass. I really enjoy them going for a walk or maybe by car or bike, they allow you to enjoy your surroundings and the music that you like!
Awesome shades
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say about my bose tenor sunglasses... Wow!!! I was a bit dubious to begin with as felt a bit weird on my face but after 20 mins this passed. Not only are they stylish but these are amazing. Fantastic quality and sound. Great for listening to music on the move. I hate in ear headphones as they never seem to stay in..these are perfect for me. You can also answer calls at the touch of a button. It's just a shame there isnt much sun in scotland or these would never come off my face except to sleep and charge them. Charging also lasts quite a while. I highly recommend.
Okay sound. Really bad fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've had these for a few weeks now. Things I really like:
The design is cool, they aren't heavy. The touch controller and single button control are really intuitive. The sound is good for the size, great for podcasts and acoustic music. Call quality is really good.
Its also good for running as you get the sound whilst still being aware of the environment.
The bad things: most disappointingly is the fit. The glasses are to small to be one size fits all. There is little give in the frames that make the glasses really uncomfortable. Also the sound quality has little bass. I have also been told that people sitting next to me can hear the audio when they are turned up.
It also has a proprietary charger which isn't very long.
Tenor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these glasses and thought they were good but not enough for the cost of them, music is loud when playing which I liked and you couldn't hear it much outside of the glasses, appearance looks nice didnt like the bulky sides. Overall they were good
