I bought these glasses as a mobility aid to support use of Apps such as Soundscape. There are fringe benefits of course, music sounds great.

The glasses themselves are very accessible featuring spoken prompts, as is the supporting Bose Music App.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are an active person the could well be for you. They a great pair of sunglasses with built in speakers. Sound quality is excellent at low volume, however as you go over 50% volume the bass disappears. They do give great spacial awareness though, having full awareness of your surroundings is rather strange although very satisfying, like having your own speaker in your backpack. Phone calls are very clear from both ends of the call.

Overall great sound if a bit quiet. If you can find a style that suits you give them a go.

I've had these only for a week and have been able to test them whilst walking the dog, cycling and even sitting at home.

Set up was very simple and straightforward through the Bose music app. One set up is complete you can then choose which app you'll play your music through. I used spotify and you can pull up the track playing in the Bose app and jump forward or back a track.

Sound quality is exceptional. These are Bose!

I'd put these on a par with my Bose wireless headphones for sound quality.

You do get sound 'leakage' but this allows you to be able to hear the world around you, traffic noise etc which makes them ideal for cycling and certainly safer than wearing headphones.

On that point, the fact you're getting a nice looking and sturdy pair of sunglasses as well an exceptional set of headphones all in one makes these great value for money.

I listened to some Audio books along with a variety of different music and watched some videos too. On each occasion the sound was crystal clear and loud enough for my purposes.

I'll be disappointed to have to have these back but hopefully I can get myself a pair sometime and use them Hill walking next spring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these glasses for a few weeks now, they've endured many (10+) runs in all weather conditions.

Why run with sunglasses while raining I hear you say? - To stop me from getting water, flies and wind in my eyes!

Lets start with the bad:

They're heavy

They're bulky

They have very dark lenses

Those are nit-pick type bad points. They are heavy, but they also stay perfectly on your face even when running. The bulk doesnt really affect you while wearing them. The only thing that does affect you is the darkness - they're great in sunlight but throw in a little cloud and I do find myself struggling to see a little.

The good:

The unboxing - brilliant, well made packaging and really a joy to open.

The quality - unrivaled. Brilliant.

They're heavy - this is good and bad - they stay on your face and you know they're there!

The pairing process - doddle!

The sound quality is absolutely superb. Tiny speakers with a big punch - love it! They don't go spectacularly loud but plenty loud enough for me.

The speaker location - these are not "in ear", therefore you can also hear people around you (or cars that are about to flatten you) - I love this feature!

They do come at a price, but for me the use I'll get out of them is worth it. No longer do I need in-ear headphones which restrict my environmental hearing - this is a big plus because I have to run on roads mostly so being aware of my surroundings is great.

Whilst they are heavier than any normal headphones or sunglasses, they are pleasant to wear and you soon get used to them.

I'd absolutely buy another pair for training. My only wish list is that (for the price, maybe I'd pay a little more too) I'd like transition lenses so that I could run at night with them - or even some interchangeable ones.

I've yet to use them cycling but running (in my opinion) is the best test to ensure they don't fall off your face - and they never have! Keep up the good work Bose!

Pricey but we'll worthy investment expecially for sports and well and general use. I found the glasses have a tight bit comfortable fit around the head, great quality lenses when out on the bike or just walking or driving. Got to say the build quality is exactly what you would expect from Bose! Being an enginner having the ability to use the glasses to stop sun glare and being able to stay in communication with my friends is great and having the ability to listen to my fav music whilst still being able to hear what's going on around me is brilliant. Sound quality is not 100% as not headphone but still really good. Did find the bass was lost if they are turned up to loud but still perfect. Don't regret these glasses as they have been used every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase these as I find earbuds to be quite uncomfortable. The sound is super impressive, with crisps notes and full of clarity and a mild dose of base. When I say mild it’s nearly not there which is a bit of a rare specification from what I know of Bose. I’ve played different genres to see if I could get a good base and it just hasn’t happened. But like I say the sound is still really good and I would t exactly be put off by the lack of base but just something to be mindful.

There is no chance of these coming off your head during running or other movement type sports. They are tightly secured on your head, a bit too tight maybe. I’ve not played around with them to see if I can make them bigger or a bit more comfortable.

Lenses are crystal clear and make everything look proper smart albeit the phone screen can look a bit weird if you look at it with them on.

I’d recommend these for a runner any day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] generally like bose products, they are simple to use and usually have very high quality that you can rely on.

The sunglass is nice looking, very high tech feeling. The material's surface is smooth and has got a nice feel. when you wear it, it definitely will attract some attention and asking about the product. The presentation is nice with a case.

The music quality is excellent, crisp, and clear sound. Some may think it is a lack of base, but this has been the usual bose sound signature. It does not affect other people much if you are doing a workout and you are still fully aware of the surrounding which is important.

The biggest downside, however, is the fact that it does not fit my face. The product provides some different nose pad, but this does not solve the problem of not fitting mt face/head. I have a big face in comparison with most people but would hope there is a mechanism to adjust the glasses. Unfortunately, there isn't. So I can not wear this for a long time and would have to return the product.

In summary, if you are normal size head/face, I would definitely recommend the product. otherwise, have a try on before you buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Genius idea and the sound quality you expect from Bose; no short cuts here.

There are so many positives about this product that if the price is right for you I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing. The only downsides I’ve considered are their limitation of use with the good old British weather; although I haven’t purchased the additional lenses to use in different lights, the thickness of the arms to accommodate the speakers may create some crazy tan lines and being the sports range I wouldn’t say they are the most attractive, certainly for female users.

You feel the quality of these glasses from the opening of the box to the smooth feel of the glasses. The glasses are presented in a hard case for protection with a soft cleaning cloth and an internal stretchy pouch to store the USB charging cable and changeable nose tips ; you knew you will lose them if not in the case!

I cannot explain how easy the set up was. Download the Bose app, turn on the glasses with the only button and you are taken through all the steps. So simple. I really don’t think anyone could get it wrong. So get using them after a quick connection. You’ll find quality sound, even when wearing the glasses on the top of your head and anyone close by will find it difficult to hear your tunes.

A single button is used for power on/off, a creative swipe for volume and the ability to answer calls and use Siri/Google is brilliant. I’ve tried the glasses running and cycling as well as sitting in the garden enjoying the weather. I found the fit really good when running; no bouncing of the glasses as you run or steaming up as you get warmer. It was the same with cycling; good fit under my helmet and the glasses didn’t slip at all when moving my head. Need to test them on the mountain now to see the benefits when boarding.

The lenses are as good as my Oakley glasses so don’t feel it’s all about the music. They are lightweight and you could wear them for long periods without worrying about them. The battery seems to follow the spec time and you get told what the battery % is when you turn them on.

If you think the price is too high consider buying sunglasses with great lenses and some quality earphones and it would probably be above the price for these. You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening up the box for these glasses didn't disappoint. The quality of them is pure Bose, very good but still fairly light weight. They are very easy to sync up with my iPhone and they fit great out of the box for me, but there is adjustment for the nose piece if needed.

The sound is eerily great, it's strange not having anything in or over the ears, but it's good being able to have great sound and still be able to hear things in your surroundings, especially while running or cycling.

The only real downside for me is the chunky styling, I can live with it for sure, but would be nice to be a bit more slimline. Also I would prefer the option to purchase them with the coloured lens, rather than having to buy separately, I think the colour may also help to break up the black to make them less chunky looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for the Frames because of Bose's reputation for quality and I was not disappointed. The sound is crisp and clear without any rumble, which allows you to hear your surroundings with ease. Speakers in the sunglasses frame directs the sound to your ears while not drowning out the world.

While they are certainly not going to overwhelm anyone with their bass, the sound is warm and rich with excellent clarity. The volume is somewhat limited, distorting as you start to reach 75 percent or so but I never had them up that high except to see how loud they would get. In most circumstances you can hear them very well, however as they are open ear they can be overwhelmed by loud sounds, bus driving by, police cars, etc. Keep them half volume or less, and the sound is barely audible to people around you. Around 25 percent, I can have conversations with others and they don't even realise I have music in the background. The mic works well, picking up my voice clearly. On a windy day, some wind noise came through, but that did not adversely affect that ability for the other person to hear me. I would advise not to wear them in heavy rain, as they are not rated for this.

As sunglasses they are brilliant, but with the standard lenses visibility is poor in the autumn evenings. However additional lenses are available and you can fit prescription lenses in the frames.

Overall, I found these Bose Frames awesome, allowing me to be aware of what's around me while walking or cycling. They don't drown out the world like ear buds, so you're subjected to the world around you, but that's the point. As such, they will probably not going to be the only headphones I will use, but I imagine if you're like me (cycles and runs a lot); you will use theses a lot. The glasses have a limited use. As a not to the above, I prefer my over-ear headphones due to the sound quality. The USP for this product is the ability to hear your surroundings.

P.S, it looks like I will need to get another pair as my girlfriend loves to wear them when she is sunbathing, U.K. weather dependent.

The sound is channeled into your ears with very little sound bleed which is amazing considering the speakers are outward facing.

The sound quality is what you expect from BOSE, clear highs and mids with some punchy base.

The stock lens are fantastic working in bright sunlight and still crystal clear when the sun goes behind a cloud.

The only disappointment is probably around the plastic build of the frames. They just doesn't feel that premium but I am sure its down to durability of plastic over other material's.

Before I tried the Tempo glasses I was sceptical about speakers and sunglasses combination. I shouldn't been. First impression was just "WOW". I could hear the music without knowing the source of it. The surround sound those glasses offering, makes you feel like you are wearing over ears headphones, the sound is just coming from every direction. From low to mid volume the base is deep and clear but on louder setting it's loosing it's clarity. The high tones stays perfect all the time. You can hear the ambient sound so you can still have conversation while listening to music. Phonecall conversation is well heard on the other side. Volume bar is in position, where without instructions I wouldn't be able to find it. It's hidden in perfect place. The materials used for build are very good quality, you have felling they won't break easily. They might be a bit wide on the arms but it's understandable, the speakers and all electronics needs to be hidden somewhere. The look is very sporty. Even while jogging they hold nicely in place and exchangeble nose pads makes them fit perfectly. Removable lenses are great option if got damaged. Downside of having speakers fitted onto arms is sound can be heard by surrounding you people. For some it might be inconvenient. Those glasses are perfect for single walks, bicycle rides, outdoor runs and sunbathing on the beach. Very good piece of smart wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently own the Bose Alto sunglasses, which I am very happy with, however they are not designed for sport or activity, as they are a looser fit. I usually use my Oakley Sunglasses paired with by Bose SoundSport Free headphones for running, however when I saw this, I felt I had to try this as an option.

offering removable lenses (Same as Alto) and a USB-C Charging standard, these were adaptable and unique, being able to control the music by swiping the right arm is very convenient, on top of that the accessibility to Siri/google by touching the arm is brilliant.

My Initial Impressions when opening the box were very positive - The glasses come in a hard glasses case, which has a pouch for the USB-C Cable included and lenses cleaner. within the box there was also a selection of varying size nose tips, enabling them to be altered to suit your nose shape/size.

Setting up is very straight forward, its as simple pressing the button on the arm, Download the Bose Music App and the app does the rest.

The Sound is amazingly clear and crisp, providing a true surround sound atmosphere. being able to hear singing from both sides (Similar to Dolby Surround Sound). The way the music submerges you into the acoustics draws you in, You still have hearing of your surrounding if your near a road etc, which is key when I was out running and when crossing the road, all other noises from outside get minimised. The sound is comparable if not better than my SoundSport Free's (Which I will still use for gym work as sunglasses in the gym, look a bit daft...)

The lenses it comes with which are polycarbonate mirrored black polarised lenses are comparable to my Oakley lenses, which were at a similar price point, without the audio, so easily a good positive, along with the fact, if they get scratched or damaged they can be easily and cheaply replaced (In comparison to competitors).

When using these in anger whilst out running and cycling (The only activities I have done with them on) The arms hold firm on the sides, preventing excess movement , The nose pieces which can be changed provide comfort over the nose.

In comparison to my Oakley glasses the lenses are identical, That along with the sound quality and option built in to these mean these are truly the best pair of Sunglasses I own, I am now selling my Oakley's as I don't have a use for them....

Should you buy them? Obviously this is my personal opinion, however if you in the market for sunglasses you can wear for activity and want the added benefit of being able to listen to amazing quality music, without anything in your ears, then yes, without a doubt. If your not sure then just trying these at a shop will sell it to you, listening to something immersive will sell the product as soon as you try them on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these bluetooth glasses as an alternative to earbuds and on-ear phones. The sound is surprisingly good through the innovative speakers that project into your ears, although it is even better when you cup your hands over them, which suggests some improvements could be made potentially using drop down cups?

Firstly these glasses solved a problem for me in that I don't like earbuds or things sticking in my ears. I enjoyed the final days of sunshine sitting outside with the glasses on. On the downside though, the lenses are quite dark making it difficult to see my iphone to change music. Also they are only of use in the sun so I have no need for them until the spring now.

They are easy to set up and connect to your phone with just one button which acts as a connect button and also pause/resume and if you take them off and place them upside down, they automatically turn off which saves battery. If you place them right way up, they don't turn off which again is a useful feature.

There is a volume control on the side of one arm which is operated by sliding your finger along it. I struggle to make this work though so adjust the volume from my iPhone.

The following enhancements would be nice:

• reactolite or adjstable / replacement lenses
• an EQ option on the app
• a less fragile feel to the glasses, for example a bit more flex or rubberiness on the arms and frame
  
  

I think the price is far too high for the limited use of these glasses so I will be passing them on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these glasses thinking they would change my game for good - that wasn't the case at all. They're a real disappointment.

To begin with, the sound is borderline terrible. They sound like a cheap knock-off product and I would not have guessed they were Bose branded if I wasn't told...

They work with little speakers on the frame pointed towards your ears - these are not conduction bases glasses. That being said, it's like holding a little bluetooth speaker a few cm from your ear. The sound is not immersive whatsoever. You have to turn them up quite loud if you're outdoors as there is nothing to isolate the sound. This means you can't really use them around other people - they'll be able to hear everything loud and clear. It's also pointless using them in loud environments. You can't use them with earplugs as they're not conductive...

The actual sunglasses are ok, the black glass that came with mine does the job. They tend to fog up as quickly as cheaper glasses though. If you're running, they'll fog up quickly. When they fog up, you have the choice of music and not being able to see anything or no music and you can see where you're going. This is easily solved by having separate earphones and glasses - I feel like they've invented a problem here.

They're ok for cycling in that regard in that your ears are still open, but you have to turn them up even louder. Having them on so loud made me feel a bit dizzy and some ringing in my ears for a few hours after use. I'd rather just use earphones.

The fit wasn't great either in comparison to some cheap sunglasses I have already. The nose pieces are good, but they don't really do anything. I feel like the frames generally fit too far away from your nose even with changing the nose piece. The shape of them is just a bit off.

Overall, unless you get them for a really cheap price, just don't buy them.

You can get good earphones and good glasses for a fraction of the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow These are the most amazing Sunglasses/Speaker earphones I have come across.

From the moment I first switched them on and hear the amazing quality sound of the Bose demo as they sit on my face comfortably without me having to change any of the additional different nose tips included. The style and design of the Bose Tempo are perfect, and the fit Is comfortable as there is hardly any weight to them. The sound quality is perfectly tuned to perfection and the haptic feedback just enhances the sound experience.

Weather I use them for a run or bike ride they are great as they allow me to be aware of the sounds around me. Not the best for public transport due to the fact people around you can then hear what your listening to but perfect for my solo runs and bike ride.

I have tried these in the car while driving and found them to also be great as the polarised lens do wonders to see the road ahead clearly too. As they are so comfortable to wear I found that when indoors I like to use them too to enjoy my music without the need for in-ear or over the ear headphones at which point the removable lens are an elegant touch which allow me to continue to use them even indoors.

Overall, these sunglasses are an excellent all-round sport, casual or leisure wearables with sound for music and capability to take calls which are also very clear and people I’ve called can hear me clearly too. I would definitely recommend these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Astoundingly loud with good clean bass. A great improvement from the previous Bose models. This is equalled when making and receiving calls.

when in busy surroundings and in traffic didn't find any major hinderances or issues. Experimented with different sound types like 8D songs and got to say it was in par with in ear and over the head types of headsets when in quieter surroundings.

Swift Bluetooth connection and even works well without the Bose app. Loved the voice activated commands giving out battery life and connection indication.

Comes with a robust crush proof case, has spare nose clips and at long last the newest USB C charging cable. The nose clips at first are a bit of a struggle to pull off but they effortlessly fit in with the contour of the frame.

Decent build quality but the arms are overpoweringly thick and so may not suit everyone.

The frame looked like they were taking over my face but sat very comfortably.

whilst jogging and cycling the wrap round design stayed on firmly. Had no issues using them in the rain as they are IP4 rated. Great protection from the polarised lens which also provide UVA and UVB protection. Would have loved it more if the glasses had more controls built in like Volume control buttons.

Good usage time, with over 7 hours audio playtime and taking about an hour to fully charge.

Won't dishearten if you are looking for great sound and eye protection for undertaking sporty activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] was sceptical at first with this having speakers instead of ear phones but very very surprised at the sound quality you get from them, also amazed that the sound is very local to u and others around u cant hear it. the actual sound quality is typical Bose, basically amazing for music and calls. love the styling and feel of the frames, the plastic is solid and and feels like quality materials. The fit is great for walking or exercise as very snug. Overall i am very impressed by everything these have to offer. the case is great and there super easy to charge and connect to any phone. Definitely recommend these to anyone and there well worth the money and very enjoyable to use.

These Bose Frames Tempo are a great advancement in both sound, style and functionality. As with any Bose product it is always delivered fast and efficient and always well packaged. The Frames them self come with a polarized lens which offers great sun protection and with different size nose buds, you can achieve the optimal fit. They arrived with sufficient Battery life to enable the setup and pairing straight away. The Battery last around 8 hours which is great for a good long workout. I prefer using the Bose Connect App as I find it helps to have better control of my Frames for sound. The sound quality is crisp and clear and being water resistant it enables you to work hard and know that your Frames will not be affected.I cycle every day and find that wearing the Bose Frames Tempo that the fit is great and they stay firm in place. The great advantage regarding the frames is whilst working out you can enjoy the great quality of Bose but still have situational awareness which essential in today's busy life. The Bose Frames Tempo are a great advancement in technology and style not compromising on the great sound you get from Bose.

They are so light you hardly know you are wearing them I cycle a lot so I use them on my bike as you can still enjoy your music as well as hearing all the traffic a round you un like headphones witch are not good for when your a round traffic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the sound quality (when you can hear them) is superb. At full volume, the sound is a little flat, but in general you don’t need the volume that high. In quiet environments (a garden, or walking away from a road) they are great. You can hear the music or spoken word well. However, get near anything noisy and you can’t hear it at all. I guess this is the problem with external speaker headphones.

I got them to use as cycling glasses, something which their sporty appearance lends them to, but on the roads, all you can hear is traffic noise, even with the volume up high. I also have an issue with reflections of my eyes if the sun is low and directly towards me.

I think they would be great for lounging in the garden on a summers day, and maybe would work for an exercise where you can get away from external noise, but not for me for cycling.

There is also an issue with he fact that they are polarised and the effect that has on viewing a phone screen, but that is a minor problem.
