I purchased this beard trimmer for myself about 18 months ago. I have a short beard, 2-3mm and with the metal beard trimmer this has the best product I have used. It cuts perfectly, the incremental depth of cuts are perfect as is the long battery charge.

Would definitely recommend this product for short beards and would certainly buy again if necessary.

The beard trimmer is fine. The trimmer does not fit in the supplied case with the comb allowing for 5.4 - 10mm trimming, which is an essential part of the device function. Every time I buy a Philips product I am punished for it in some way, this will be the last.

Hoitaa parran trimmauksen hiljaa ja akkua piisaa. Optimaalinen, mikäli ei tarvitse käyttää lisäkampaa vaan pärjää pelkällä kamman omalla säätövaralla (5mm asti).

Plussaa siitä ettei mukana ole miljoonaa pikkuosaa joilla puolellakaan ei sitten tee oikeasti yhtään mitään.

En lähtisi tällä hiuksia kuitenkaan pikku siistimistä lukuunottamatta ajamaan mutta siihen tämä ei olekkaan tarkoitettu pääasiallisesti.

Hyvä matkakotelo helpottaa myös reissaamista ja hanan alla nopea putsata kampa ja koko laite.

Tämä tuote on aivan mielettömän hyvä kaikkeen ihokarvan poistamiseen. suosittelen kaikille miehille lämpimästi.

The cutting blades are excellent (according to the Which? review) which is why I bought it. In this respect an improvement on the BaByliss which I had before. The Babyliss was a better ergonomic design; I find the Philips slightly clumsy to use. Its getting better with practice.

Itse en pidå yhtään niistä, joisaa pitää aina vaihtaa eri osa, kun haluaa vaihtaa leikkauspituutta. Entisessä koneessani oli säiliö, johon partakarvat imulla menivät. Pysyi ympäristö siistinä. Nyt ei pysy... Mutta itse kone sinänsä hoitaa homman. Itse laittaisin virtanapain vastakkaiselle puolelle konetta, mutta sen sijainti lienee tottumis- ja makuasia.

Erittäin laadukas ja toimiva. Jälki on parhaammasta pästä.

Very happy with this trimmer. Easy to use with simple cut length adjustment.

Hinta- ja laatusuhteeltaan paras partatrimmeri, jota olen käyttänyt. Omistan itse tällaisen ja nyt ostin vielä isälleni samanlaisen joululahjaksi, kun olen ollut tuotteeseen niin tyytyväinen. Trimmerissä on metalinen erittäin laadukkaan oloinen tukeva rakenne. Trimmeri on helppo pestä ja pitää siistinä, joten se on hyvä vaikka päivittäiseen käyttöön. Terä ei ole ainakaan näin reilun vuoden käytön jälkeen itsellä tylsynyt, vaan leikkaa edelleen tarkasti ja repimättä. Toimii hyvin myös tukan siistimiseen tarvittaessa.

My previous Phillips trimmer was excellent and still works but battery life was finally starting to go. This was a fairly big leap cost wise but if it lasts, it’s worth it. It’s a big unit but does usefully freestand. Battery life appears to be near infinite and it does a very decent job; you need to be slightly careful not to snag your skin on the metal cutters but no nicks so far. My daughter also did a great job if cutting my hair with it (instructions say don’t use it on hair; not sure why not?). So a very solid thing that should last many years and looks cool too. Job done.

I would have given this 5* if it could have detailed/closer finish for trimming.

Have used this trimmer a few times now. It is easy to adjust gives a neat even trim and is comfortable to use. Wish I'd bought one sooner rather than persevering with cheaper brands

This is by far the best beard trimmer I have owned. Top quality and feels it in your hand. Gives me a very even shave over my whole face. Only downside is it would be great if I could use it on my head too but it’s not very good for this.

Expensive but very pleased with the purchase - very solid build and sharp precise cut. Holds charge well.

First trimmer without a vacuum trap, but less mess than I anticipated. Only slight criticism would be that it does not cut quite as close as I would like on the lowest setting. It is difficult to trim a moustache cleanly and accurately.

Solid construction. Nice weight to give good control. Smooth action and great battery life

The trimmer feels really high end quality. It's very effective and comfortable to use.

Only downside for me is that it doesn't come with a nose trimmer attachment and a foil shaver attachment like my old 5000 did.

Utterly fantastic for trimming, beards. The finely graduated length setting is perfect. The whole device is beautifully engineered and sturdy. One point to note: it is utterly useless as a hair trimmer. Bit Brilliant for beards.

High quality product which is comfortable and simple to use. I mainly use it to trim my moustache and it works perfectly. Charges fast and has a nice storage case. Can be used in water and easy to clean.

Poor quality blade. Zero difference between 0.4 and 0.8. Also need to be careful once you’ve set it. You still need to check it with your hands. Usually needs a push to get guard in the right place.

Powerful, sharp, smooth, comfortable and easy to use. Not cheap by any stretch but appears good quality thus far.
