Supertele järkihintaan
Uudenlainen innovatiivinen supertele. Todella kevyt ja mahtuu kätevästi kamerareppuun ilman ylimääräisiä virityksiä. Kuvanlaatu hyvä kunhan tiedostaa kiinteän f/11 tuomat rajoitukset. Erinomainen kuvanvakaaja. Sääsuojaus ikävä kyllä puuttuu. Vankemmasta sää- ja pölysuojatusta rakenteesta maksaisi mielellään hieman lisää ja painokin on niin kevyt ettei pieni lisä haittaisi.
Fantastic
Canon thought out the box with the 600,800 f11 lenses and decided to bring fun into photography for the masses. I don’t need 600mm but on the R7 it’s great actually. Moon photography I hardly use the 400mm f5.6 now. The weight and fun factor shouldn’t be overlooked with this 600 lens. Choose wisely between it and the 800 and they will allow you to go out and shoot subjects you might not have before (wildlife, aviation in my case). Again, no case or lens hood and are expensive additions. Framing won’t be a problem once you use it for a while
Canon 600mm with R7
This combination is very light and can be handheld even for flying birds and with the IBIS and lens stabilisation it is an excellent lens in good light. Compact when closed, carrying is easy but it is a pity it isn't weather-proof and I do worry about the longevity of the"push-pull" set-up. It does have a "plasticy feel but this is expected with the price tag. It works well with the R7 and gives a 960mm equivalent with the Aps-c sensor while still being reasonably quick to focus.
Perfect for Nature Close-Up
Having had this lens for a good few months I have to say that it has been my most-used lens throughout Summer.
The quality of images this lens offers are exceptional, and for a relatively small cost, I am totally impressed.
The images of birds and pets I have taken and posted on social media pretty much always gets great feedback, with many asking what lens I used.
Coupled with the Canon R6 I am able to post photos pretty much straight from the camera with very little editing required.
I would strongly recommend this lens to anyone who needs a little more reach, sharp images whilst keeping an eye on those purse strings.
Excellect lens
As a keen amateur I bought this lens for my R5 as I like to take bird photos and I haven't been disappointed, in addition the weight is a great improvement on my previous non-Canon lens.

Limitations
I have traded this lens in agAinst the EOR R 100-500.
The 600 f stop limited the light I was able to work in as higher ISO not a good alternative
Surprisingly good
I've had my Canon RF 600mm F11 IS STM Lens for only a short while and haven't had a great deal of opportunity to use it. What little use I have made has impressed me so far. Although f11 is quite a narrow aperture I have been able to achieve some pretty impressive images at 500 ISO. I'm looking forward to using it more during the winter now that the overwintering birds are coming in.
Moto go silverstone
Fantastic for motorsport and bird photography
Light, simple to use
I find this much easier to use than my previous 150-600mm, which was heavy and unwieldy.
Seems sharp; seems good value; hope to get really pleasing images at a brighter time of year
Attracted to this as a relatively affordable long lens for my new R5. Relying on natural light in UK autumn conditions, the F11 fixed aperture means that I'm rarely shooting at below ISO 3200 and typically at ISO 6400 (limited by me) or higher (if I allow autoexposure a free rein). Such high ISOs mean I'm getting noisy images with loss of fine detail. Denoise and Sharpen can make such images look nice, particularly at small sizes or from a distance, though if I pixel peep, viewing at 100%, sometimes the sharpened images look as though they are showing the brushstrokes of an oil painting.
The fixed focal length and minimum focusing distance are limiting. The lens is good for a bird at a moderate distance in a hedge but, unsurprisingly, no use for taking views unless the view one wants to frame is a long way off, and the minimum focusing distance meant I had to stand back from wild flower seed heads I was trying to photograph and couldn't anywhere near fill the frame with such a seed head. The lens isn't for landscapes and isn't for close-ups but so far as I've been able to tell it gives me sharp results when photographing wildlife at a moderate distance. I think I can tell images are sharp, even though often degraded as a result of a high ISO.
A plus is that the lens is light in weight. The tube has to be extended before the lens is ready for use. I'm not hopeful of being able to pick up my R5 with this lens attached and take a quick shot if an unexpected opportunity arises. No doubt different equipment - probably without an electronic viewfinder - is more suitable for that. Once the R5 with this lens attached had found focus, tracking of birds in flight was good.
Far exceeded my expectations
Very pleased with this lens and the first results have been stunning

Great performance and value.
A fine balance of performance and practicality. I will take this lens everywhere due to the minimal weight penalty. It has provided me with some stunning wildlife images before I have explored all the inherent features of my Canon R6 camera
Great for Bird Photography
I bought the lens to capture pictures of wild birds, both stationary and in flight. Great for stationary, just about manageable for in flight. Fixed F11 aperture has its limits, along with a fixed focal length, but the reduction in weight makes this fine for handheld shots whereas telephoto lens with more flexibility are heavier (and more expensive).
Outstanding quality, great value and lite weight.
Really pleased with the quality of the lens, and the images pin sharp. The lens is lite weight which enables the opportunity for handheld even when relatively low light.
Great travel lens
I bought this a month ago to photograph wildlife on holidays, due to travel restriction only able to test it in the back garden, very happy with the results so far.
Great value for money
This lens may have its limits and built for the budget photographer, but it is far from a poor performer. If this lens is used within its limitations it will give you great results. It is light weight and really sharp. Fitted to a R6 they are a perfect pair. Have used the lens in low light situations still getting good results from the R6. I have also used the lens in crop mode on the R6 also with good results.
Took my photography to another level
I wanted to try bird photography without spending thousands and without the need of a cumbersome tripod. This lens is amazing and answers all the questions and I have got some photographs that would not have been possible without this lens.
