A los pocos meses de comprar la tele tuvieron que venir a repararla porque le salieron 2 líneas verticales. 2 años después de esa reparación (qué curioso, justo 2 años que es cuanto acaba la garantía) salen rayas verticales y horizontales nuevamente. Mira que tengo en la familia marcas de televisión pero NINGUNA se ha estropeado tan pronto, por no decir que todas las demás siguen vivas y esta ya está estropeada. PHILIPS NUNCA MÁS.

Recently i encountered a major fault. My ambilight stopped working. Worked fine the day before, and the next day the ambilight didnt work. I did every reset as humanly possible, that means, switching it on/off; unplugged it and waited over 2 min before switching it back on; tried to reset factory settings; and lastly i did the hard reset. Nothing worked. Is it possible, that something burned out, that regulates the ambilight? Everything else works flawlessly, except the ambilight.

I have updated my TV, as I was asked to do so, and after update all apps goes blank, especially YouTube. It appears that some codec are missing or something. The app starts but when I play the video even the ads are blank

Seems like others have had this problem too. Had this for a little over two years, no complaints, and then the screen started having horizontal lines. First they only appeared at the top part of the screen after the TV had been on for a few hours. Now they cover the whole screen as soon as I open the TV, and there is also some annoying flickering. So yeah, unwatchable. Never going for a Phillips TV again.

It took 2 years and 6 months for the screen to fail. Vertical lines on the entire screen. Uneconomical to repair. Never a Philips TV again

I am very happy with this TV, very nice color enough big. Especially I like the play of colors on the back wall, which change according to the colors of the screen. And my friends are jealous of this TV when they visit us.

I used to love this TV especially the ambilight but after only 2.5 years it has developed visual faults (of course this had to happen after warranty expired), now my screen has dozens of horizontal lines going from one edge to the other, can't even contact philips support because my account "access is disabled" for some reason despite all I've done on that account is register warranty with them.

Never again will I buy a Phillips tv. Had this one for around 2 years. no more. Now I have a large band at the bottom of the screen. Utterly Useless.

Screen died 4 months after warranty ended. While the TV was working, was very happy with it but I would have thought it would last more than 2 years considering how much I spent on it

Happy with TV good for gaming can't moan up to 60fps android makes it even better

50" meille ei isompi sopisikaan. jotakuinkin toimiva vekotin. Kaukosäätimessä suuntanäppäi/ok alueen alla olevat painikkeen liian lähellä, alanuolta.

Sound is bad.The Picture is solid. Ambilight is very good.

Bought this tv in February and love the ambilight and for the most part the picture quality has been great for me however I get blue outlines on items in the image which is when there is motion I have tried all different settings even bought a calibration blu ray disc turned off motion handling setting tried them all but I still get blue outlines which from what I have read is called ghosting is is mostly prevalent in black and white movies and gaming but when watching 4K especially black items on screen for instance Tim burtons batman 4k the bat suit has a blue outline in darker scenes but items in the background Also. That is just one example. Gaming has it also yes even with game mode on. It’s very frustrating as I can’t get rid of it no matter what setting I use it also shows on Dolby vision in 4k blu rays. If it wasn’t for this I would be happy with the tv but it has certainly put me off buying Phillips again.

Viikon oltiin tyytyväisiä televisioon. Sen jälkeen HDMI- liitännät lakkasi toimimasta, samoin kuin TV-kanavat. TV kuvan ollessa tumma, alalaidassa pari vaaleampaa kohtaa. Verkkokauppa.comin asiakaspalvelusta neuvottiin olemaan suoraan philipsiin yhteydessä, jotta näin saisi nopeamman palvelun. Noh, vastaukset philipsiltä kestää aina 2vrk ja ovat tyyliin "koita hakea kanavat uudestaan" ja "onhan sinulla viimeisin ohjelmistopäivitys". Valoläiskien kuvaamiseen tuli A4 mittainen vaatimuslista kuvasta jonka halusivat. Nyt on siis viikko ooteltu mutta vieläkään ei ole korjaajaa tulossa. Taitaa tämä töllö lähteä palautukseen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ambilight is amazing. It brings the room in to the movie/whatever it is you are watching and gives it such life. To see your room have the warm hot glow when a burning fire is on screen or a cool cold light when snow is falling on screen is a sight to behold. With excellent picture quality and amazing Dolby sound (might not get a speaker system now as the sound is already top notch) and also a very responsive remote control, It has been for me a very happy purchase.

I like the product, except for the picture settings.

In standard, movie and most of the modes of the picture, when watching movie I have no feeling of movie camera, but is seems almost like the live broadcast, which is very odd feeling.

Only when I switch to "Monitor" mode, it's like watching real movie (the picture is not so vivid). It's kind of annoying to switch to this mode every time you change the channel to some movie... Even then the picture has some whiteness, which is not too comfort to watch.

Or I am missing something here...

TV has top quality picture and the Ambilight feature is top class.

This TV did replace my 10 year old LED.

It performs as expected (except build in Chromecast)

It has everything I want in a Smart TV and absent lights make it a great home cinema experience.

It is a very decent TV that provides everything you need if you are a casual TV watcher. I think it has a great picture quality. Not the best sound but it is okay. I play PS4 and I have not complained so far.

Had this TV for a couple of months now and have been very impressed with everything about it. I was a bit doubtful after reading reviews from various sites, which were quite mixed, but I really wanted the Ambilight feature and decided to buy one anyway.

The set up was easy and straightforward and was up and running in about 20mins.

Picture quality straight out the box was superb(unlike what some reviews said), I made a few minor tweaks to some settings and it was even better

I connected all my other devices and the tv found everything quickly(Apple TV, firestick, home theatre system and network) without any issues

All apps work as they should and I’ve had no issues with them.

My wife didn’t want me to buy a new TV as she was quite happy with the one we had, which was only 4yrs old and was a top brand 4K one, but she has also been very impressed with the difference in the picture quality, so I’m forgiven now lol

Dolby Vision and HDR make a huge difference when available from sources

Finally Ambilight is just a game changer, better than I even expected and makes a great difference when watching movies, live concerts etc especially at nighttime

Delighted with everything about this TV, and long may that continue

Terrible skin tone replication, zero on that. Waste of money!

Ambilight very nice as always. Good apps.
