I purchased this TV as an upgrade for my bedroom. It was extremely easy to put up on the wall and to set up. I found the remote easy to use and it was simple to change the settings to my own personal preferences. It looks very stylish and sleek.The
quality is amazing and I’m very happy with the sound and picture quality. Very happy with it.

I don’t have kids or pets and my house is kept clean.

Tv is over 3 years old, again same issues as most people who purchased this t.v. Bought this tv to go with Philips Hue ,that i have all over the house. The combined hue bulbs and ambilight worked brilliantly together. Now after purchasing the tv, which is not fit for purpose anymore. Very disappointed with build quality, I have a samsung tv that is 10 years old and still going strong. I am thinking now , do I trust the Philips brand and replace with another ambilight tv Taking a gamble spending another small fortune on a tv that wont last , or forget the ambilight experience and go with another well established brand . As it is now and has been the past months , the t.v needs to be cycled on and off , a good number of times before the screen comes on, also it has lines across or blooms at time during this cycle of on off

Bought end of December 2020 and unfortunately failed completely May 2024.
Warning signs a few months ago with some lines appearing at the bottom of the screen which were random and then disappeared. Unfortunately the TV screen is now blank with the Ambilight and sound the only elements working on it. I've got clothes older than this TV. Shame that it is such a disposable item.

My TV is just 3 years old and all of a sudden, literally out of nowhere, the screen stopped working. It's all messed up, cannot see a thing. I am SO disappointed in the product and Philips, that I cannot even... I used to love this TV (Ambilight is super cool) but reading the reviews form others, and how this model does not last for over two years, I regret buying it.
And it just disgusts me how much electronical waste there is in the world thanks to companies like Philips. Yes, fine, the price range for the TV wasn't extremely expensive, but I think there's a morale obligation to make your products last for longer than 5 years AT LEAST.

The video quality and ambilight are amazing. Combined with great sound, it's a very nice experience to watch stuff on this tv. Unfortunately, the tv is so extremely limited in it's apps, that unless you want to watch something from an external source (connected by HDMI) or Netflix, you won't be able to. Doesn't have most other common streaming apps like HBO Max, Amazon prime etc in it's app store, so can't install them. Would have expected much more from Philips. At least give access to the full google android app store, or expand the different streaming apps available in the philips app store

The TV was excellent while it worked, however after 2 years 2 months, the TV picture has failed, Rang Philips and they don’t want to know. They gave me details of their repair partner with with whom I was in contact with. Cost of repair advised as 80% of original cost of the TV. The repair partner checked and advised that there were no spare parts available even if I wanted to go ahead with the repair.

Bought this over a year ago. Initially i was delighted with picture & the ambilight feature was cool. The sound was ok but we have a great sound bar so I wasn't concerned.
About 18 months in I noticed lines appearing on the bottom of the screen like some one had hit off it but with the position on the wall & no kids in the house that hasn't happened.
This went away & returned on & off for a month occurring on higher usage days. Then 1 day after being off for +18 hrs straight I tried to switch it on & the entire screen bar 1-3mm at the top was black. The ambilight was still working so I could see the sky homescreen colours. I tried resetting & un plugging but it's gone.
Do not recommend at all waste of money.
My last TV was an unknown brand & worked for 10 years

Enjoyed it until it failed and is 3 months out of warranty - shame because I did love this tv. Wouldn't buy again or recommend it given the short warranty and failure of the board inside.

Product was good when it worked but you expect a TV to last longer than 2 years. Unfortunately not and the warranty is only 2 years! Won’t be buying Philips anytime soon.

Remote control ceased functioning 2 years, 2 weeks old. Only one user in household, so only light use. Cannot get a similar replacement with the ambilight button. The feet on my tv model had soft poor quality screws that broke during fitting leaving me having to use unsightly bluetac to wedge screen securely to feet to stop screen dangerously wobbling. Have to reguarly empty tv cache to stop apps such as Netflix freezing. Pretty lights are pretty useless if quality of product is poor.

Had this TV for nearly a year now and keeps coming up with problems like the sound does not work or won’t pick up the input signal, which means i keep on having to unplug it to reset. Also does not have some of the latest streaming apps. Keep hoping software updates will solve the problem but has not yet. Thinking of replacing it.

The sound off it is amazing....
It's easy to set up and it's brilliant all the things it does as a smart T.V. you never get bored of watching the Television. It can be put up on wall or it can be put on a T.v unit
I would definitely recommend it.

I can describe you how bad its sound by telling that I have to open the subtitles even watching in my native language. Sound is worst of worst.
Also extremely slow. and the remote controller is the worst to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose this tv particularly because I needed a new tv to replace my previouse one. I was persuaded by the silver aesthetic aswell as the ambilight feature.
This was a winner and now I am looking to get a another however bigger screen size. Very please and happy with my new purchase. If your considering on buying please do it is reasonably priced and you cant fo wrong when it is also smart tv integrated.

Picture quality is poor. The TV keeps freezing and locking when using the remote. Wish I had never bought it. Tried all the software updates and reinstalls but nothing works.

The ambilight is nice but that’s where it ends for me. There are several apps this tv doesn’t have which I would expect to be on here such as NOWtv, BritBox etc.
The remote sticks, WiFi drops all the time and tv often does not respond!!
