Good looking quality Motherboard, installed and worked without any hitches.

Memory slots just far enough away from CPU for a Noctua NH-U12A to be used.

Sufficient PCEi slots.

M2 Options.

Great motherboard with all the bells and whistles for easy and accurate overclocking. Onboard start button and a "flexkey" that I have configured for safe reboot when tuning in overclocks.

Just wish there were more front panel usb headers, but that is my only quibble

Excellent. Probably the best component in my PC tbh. Very full set of features and high spec. Software is easy to use and works well.

I’ve been using Maximus Hero motherboards for several years and this is the best one I’ve used. It has room for plenty of RGB, fans and components and is 11th gen ready so will support 4th gen pci-e.

Great board aesthetics with discreet RGB (I personally don't like lots of lighting), lots of ports and connectivity and generally a solid and reliable board. There was a flaky BIOS towards the end of last year which kept randomly rebooting my machine but the latest Version 2004 seems to have resolved and enables resizable BAR for my RTX 3080. I don't believe that PCIe 4 support has been implemented for Rocket Lake CPUs though which I am disappointed about considering rival manufacturers have. I also hoped to upgrade the WiFi chip to an Intel AX210 but the AX201 chip seems to be soldered on which was a bit of a shame. These niggles prevent a 5 star rating, considering the cost of the board, but otherwise I am pleased with it and would consider an Asus board again.
