I agree with previous reviewer Canon, please! update firmware so we can use HDMI and SDI or (MON) OUT at same time, like you did in c200 after I sold mine!!

Also, 12g SDI out port needs to support 3g SDI so we have a second port for professional use.

I also do not understand why this expensive professional cinema camera has inferior video auto focus in comparison to canon r5 camera?? - this has been a real disappointment to me as I feel I pay a good deal for the camera and I feel that this might have been locked out. The Auto focus is very inconsistent in low light situations. Sony seems much better in this regard?

Canon, I do love this camera and don't mind paying canon prices but please update these things to be competitive and fair to your customers.

Had the c300iii since release. Fantastic all round camera with 1 flaw which really makes my workflow unnecessarily challenging. No simultaneous sdi and hdmi output. It makes sending a clean feed to a client monitor and a feed to an external on board monitor impossible. Without doing loop through which presents problems. If the issue is a hard ware limitation PLEASE ‘upgrade’ (downgrade?!) the 12gSDI port to be able to send out 3G signals. its a completely wasted port for so many. Barely any monitors accept 12g so it’s would be infinitely more useful as an extra 3G port. Please!
