I purchased this tv 9 months ago. It is my first time purchasing an LG TV and I can honestly say that it has been the worst tv I have owned. The software is extremely slow to respond and will not even attempt to connect to the wifi for a good while after being turned on (I don’t have this issue with any other device in my home so it’s not my wifi). I would never buy another LG tv as this has not been a good showcase of their products.

Bought this 49 inch LG 4K smart tv because I needed to upgrade I already own an LG plasma tv which has lasted for years. The picture on the 4K smart tv is very good and it has a lot of picture options you can adjust and I would recommend this smart tv to anyone.

Good TV so far. I tried to connect my sky q mini box today and the screen flickered from the picture to a black screen every few seconds. Does anyone know a way around this?

Easy to set up, clear picture. Can’t give it 5 as it’s slow with the menu and selecting HDMI outputs

We love our new LG 49" tv that we brought for our lounge. It fits in perfectly on our new single pedestal stand. It was extremely easy to set up and is very easy to use and the picture is lovely. I have managed to get it connected and working with Alexa, so now she will turn it on and off, alter the volume, change channel and inputs etc. All this seems very lazy, as my family keep telling me, but, hey, if i can, why not. I like to exploit as many features as possible.

The smart tv aspect of the tv works very well with no lag at all. I looked at other brands before puchasing, and to be honest, they all seem very similar in specifications, but in the end i decided on the LG on the basis that i understand that LG actually supply the LED screens to a lot of the other manufacturers.

All in all, we are very happy with it and can highly recommend LG tv's.!!!

Good value for money. Picture quality crisp and sherp. Would benefit from a dedicated Web search button on remote. Recommended.

1st class tv and very easy to use. Would never buy another tv unless it’s lg

Excellent pucture quality and easy to use just a little darker due to HDR and sometimes slow to connect to wifi hence 4 stars and not t but very good value for money
