Fantastic speed and throughput some very nice features built in like support to add a vpn straight into the router itself built in Speedtest.net and very good coverage thought out the house no dead spots the app that comes with it is very nice and easy to setup allows you to change a lot of settings they only thing I found hard to get working right out of the box was the auto setup for some reason don’t know why it would not work well with virgin media’s broadband router I did get it too work eventually but that part was very fiddly I have also added a additional node to this setup that part was also tricky as it would not auto connect to the aimesh even though it said it did got this too work by connecting it via a cable to my network completing the setup process wired then disconnecting it and now it works via the mesh system the built in interface has not really changed that much from my old ASUS router which is nice it is a expensive setup but it does work very well for me I would recommend if you want a ai mesh systems

Valitsin tämän tuotteen sen hyvän testimenestyksen pohjalta ja olen ollut siihen erittäin tyytyväinen. Hienoa siinä on myös se että Asus apsin saa ladattua puhelimeen josta voi reitittimen päivittää aina uusimpaan versioon, sekä seurata mm.nettinopeutta ja monia muita toimintoja.

Olen nyt reilun vuoden käyttänyt V1 tuotetta vuodesta 2022 ja tämä arvostelu perustuu käyttökokemuksiin.

• Käyttöönotto oli helppoa kuin heinänteko
• Ohjelmisto on selkeä ja helposti käytettävä
• Kantama 1,5 kerroksisessa 200m2 omakotitalossa on riittävä
• Kaikki aiemmat purkit pätki aina jossain kohtaa huoneistoa, tämä toimii ulkoterassille ja autokatokseen
• Ei kyykkää vaikka 4 henkilöä käyttää huolella
• Ei ole tarvinnut boottailla
• Sähkökatkot ei resetoi asetuksia
• 250€ on kallis mutta oikeasti harmittaa ettei tullut investoitua tähän aiemmin
• Katsoin että 16 laitetta on wlanilla kiinni eli todellakin pelaa

Ostin tämän tulevan valokuidun kaveriksi. Tilapäisesti käytössä oleva mobiiliverkkokin parani tämän ansiosta kummasti, kun 4G reititin itsessään pätki liikaa....

Käyttöönotto oli helppoa, mobiili appi toimii hyvin ja asentaminen oli vaivatonta. Itsellä ei varsin ole tarvetta mesh ominaisuudelle, sillä kantama riittää hyvin omiin tarpeisiin 100m2 asunnossa.

Suositteluiden perusteella ostin ja voin suositella edelleen, jos tarvitset tehokasta reititintä. LAN portteja vain 3, jos tarvitset enemmän niin joku kutkin pakettiin mukaan.

Tuli aika vaihtaa reitin kun entinen ei pystynyt antamaan täyttä kaistaa 600MB liittymästä. Tämä Asuksen purkki pystyy siihen.. Parin kuukauden käytön jälkeen hyvin tyytyväinen laitteeseen. Tyylikäs, olohuoneeseen sopiva ulkonäkö. Helppokäyttöinen ja varmatoiminen kampe.

Tästä löytyy jopa mukavasti hiukan enemmän säädettäviä ominaisuuksiakin. Mikä on ihan jees.

This has improved wifi coverage in our solid brick victorian house but still struggles in what was a dead zone. Unfortunately will have to invest in a second (pod) unit at some point. Also the setting up instructions are a bit vague for an amateur like myself. Having said that it is a good unit and is certainly an improvement on the standard router supplied by our ISP.

Erinomainen mesh järjestelmä. Helppo käyttöönotto muutamalla klikkauksella. Sen jälkeen vain uudelleen sijoitus ja paketti valmis!

Set up was easy but I had problems adding this device as a 3rd node to pair of XD6 units. Seemed alright but then started hanging up every hour. I ended up resetting everything and reinstalling from scratch twice. Working OK now

So far absolutely faultless, set up was a breeze ! Had a few PSN issues but that's down to the PSN and not Asus

You can spend five trying to set this up, and still fail.

Nopea ja helppokäyttöinen wifi 6 mesh reititin varustettuna turvaominaisuuksilla. Toimiva kokonaisuus, jonka hallinta on mobiilisovelluksella helppoa. Tällä on kenen tahansa helppo rakentaa kattava ja turvallinen kotiverkko isoonkin tilaan.

Tosi hyvä ostos ja tykkään tuotteet muutenkin hyviä ja varma toimii kuin pitää.

Extremely good router. It surpasses all expectations. I am with Virgin Media and put their router into modem mode. After doing this I saw an instant rise in speed of roughly 80mbps. The security is excellent, the control over your own settings are unrivalled and the range is unbelievable. I have over 60 IOT devices and this powerhouse doesn’t slow down one iota. I would and have recommended this to everyone.

Was great for the first day but then reboots itself randomly multiple times throughout the next day.

More than happy with this router. I have a Virgin Media 4.0 SuoerHub and coverage through my 4 bed house was OK although I did suffer occassional dropouts. I did however have blank spots in my conservatory and garden, hence th reason for purchasing the ASUS router. On receipt of the router I was a bit disappointed to only get a single router in the box (I expected a number of nodes to help with the coverage). I tested the strength of my WiFi signal in each room of the house before installing and then again once installed (installation btw is about as easy as it can be - just change the Virgin hub to modem only and attach direct to the ASUS). Surprisingly the signal strength post installation was shown to be weaker so I feared the worst. BUT....... the coverage is amazing and I now have full WiFi access all over the house and as far as the bottom of the garden. The router admin software has loads od areas to be explored and no doubt tweaked but for now I'm very happy. One other thing - there is no physical WPS button on the router which made setting up my wireless printer a challenge. But there is a virtual button wthin the admin software that solves the issue. No complaints from me - great bit of kit

Rock solid wifi - roughly 7x faster than my devolo magic2 Powerline

A good router that joins an XT8 that I bought in November 2020, to form a mesh network. It wasn't until I installed the latest ASUS Router app on a new iPhone that the mesh set up went smoothly. An old ASUS app on an old Android tablet give the wrong information. The XT8s join my ASUS routers, motherboards and, a Thunderbolt card.

Tyylikäs, äärettömän helppo käyttöönotto. Pöhisee 186m2 omakotitalon ympäri tarpeeksi. Yhtään pätkimistä ei toistaiseksi etätöissä. Laitteita kiinni yli 20 kpl. Ei tarvetta useammalle koska hain yhden laitteen ratkaisua. Hakkaa vanhan ihan hyvän Zyxelin 10-0 kuuluvuudessa ja nopeudessa niinkuin pitikin.

What a great router. I choose a mesh network as top rated by Which magazine. You will not be disappointed. . I bought 3 XT8 nodes for 4 bedroom house built on 3 levels.and now have strong signal everywhere. Standard Netgear nighthawk router with extenders never covered the house adequately. Now everywhere strong signal and have 20 + devices connected . Very easy to set up with simple ASUS app Highly recommend

Bought this to add to the existing mesh. Installation was way easier than thought.

Pleased with a pair of ZenWiFi XT8. They provide reliable and consistent coverage across the house for 30+ devices. Speeds are good, particularly on devices with newer Wi-Fi chips. The web interface provides good configuration options, the iOS app isn’t bad either. A big improvement over the Linksys Velops they replaced.
