I was buying 4y ago this tv and one beautiful morning it wasn't show picture anymore. I did heard audio and see lights. But that isn't enough when talking about the tv. I was love this tv but definitely not worth the money. Tv should work longer than that time... I am disappointed.

Good picture but the operating system is very slow. Not good enough to match the picture. Apps rarely work !

Had this and 3 years to the day the screen went black, still had sound just no picture

Purchased this tv as always wanted a Philips Ambilight.

Having had Philips tv’s and other products over the years, I didn’t think there would be a problem with reliability.

I was wrong as only after 3 years I have no picture, there is audio and the Ambilight still works but just a blank screen.

DISAPPOINTED

As someone else mentioned, it turns on. Smart features and UI in general is very laggy. However, I have a PC connected, so it fixes that issue. Fine for watching TV and using auxiliary inputs. HDMI ARC does work, but I have a Philips soundbar, so maybe it doesn't work with other brands. HDMI CEC works also. If I turn on HDR on My Playstation, The screen goes static and I have to reset my PS to fix it.

Ambilight is nice though.

The UI is sluggish. It crashes. It stalls. It lags. The colours are washed out. The sound goes up and down between apps. The apps available are extremely limited. Extremely disappointed as I love the amilight features, but the tv is absolutely dreadful.

The Ambi-light on the tv is very good and enhances viewing.

However the back light broke a few months after the warranty ran out.

We were not offered to extend it and as such the rating is due to the breakdown of the TV.

VERY disappointed. Especially as looking into reviews there seems to be an issue with the back light breaking in year two to three after purchase.

Everything about it is rubbish from the software to the set up itself.

Useita kertoja viikossa käynnistyy ainoastaan ottamalla virrat pois, jonka jälkeen käynnistyy noin minuutin kuluessa. Puolitoista vuotta ostopäivästä, TV ei enää käynnistynyt. Oli huollossa ja käyttöönoton jälkeen toimi 3 viikkoa ja 2 päivää. Uudelleen huoltoon. Huolto rekisteröity 5.8.2021. Sain tuotteen 9.9.2021.

Uskaltaakohan toivoa pidempää käyttöaikaa kuin edellisen huollon jälkeen?

Slow, extremely slow. you will press back on your remote and the thing will just hang. you will adjust the volume and it will not move, then becuase it didnt move, you press it some more then it just goes all the way up. just a horribly slow tv. spend abit more and get a something better. I had a purple line running through my TV they had to come out to repair this.

4k good quality, nice lights effect, recomend by my friend, software little bit slow

This TV is not smart, frequent restarts are required for any 'features' to work, apps constantly hang, the software is badly written and causes hangups, delays or crashes when attempting the most basic of actions, HDMI ARC capability is lacking so good luck to anyone planning on using an external surround sound system or soundbar with any reliability.

Dolby Vision and HDR 4K as well as ambilight for the price is a great deal. However this is not really a smart TV. It is not Android or iOS and as such the OS causes frequent freezing and lagging of remote control inputs

Not happy with this purchase. It's supposed to be a smart TV, but everytime I connet an external hard drive, it needs so much time to read it. It also seems to glitch afterwords, a reboot is needed many times. You also better disconnect the hard drive after use.

When intenet connection is low, is blocks up and does not respond to the remote control, except for the on and off switch.

You cannot choose to download any app, but what is provided. Besides netflix and youtube, nothing is of use for me. This is terrible!

I still need to use a google chrome cast to stream most of my streaming services. Why do I have a smart tv I wonder...

tried various settings recommened on tech sites, but in the end happy with out the box performance. I have Xbox One, 4K blu-ray player and a HTPC hooked up. The Ambilight feature is cool at night. Freeview and Freesat connected too. The SES Astra sat demo in 4K is magic.

Only had this TV over a week and I hate it. The online manual, is lacking in any real information. The warranty/safety manual, was not in a language I can understand. The TV turns itself off. It incredibly slow to turn and getting bored of having to go online to find out how things work. Also the sound quality is not very good. I had to buy a sound bar. I would recommend people look for another TV.

This tv is so unresponsive you have to press buttons 3 or 4 times on the remote for it to work. You cant download apps such as disney app . I cant find anything good about this tv.

An excellent TV for the money. I believe this is a VA panel and so provides excellent contrast with its direct led back-lit and not similarly price edge lit TVs at this price point. The picture needed some tweaking used settings I found for 70pus7304 (same panel I believe) and found a very pleasing and accurate and sharo picture that is a great all around setting for many types of content. The Saphi OS is fine for the basic amazon 4k, netflix 4k HDR, youtube HDR and catch up TV content but anything more you are better just adding a firestick or similar or using a sky q box. The ambilight is a real standout features and adds to the theatrics during movie night a feature I can't see myself without now! Decent connectivity with 4k 60hz (arc on hdmi 2) on all 3 hdmi inputs, Wireless display projection, digital audio out with pass through support for dolby atmos. Overall all I am pleased for the money that was paid for it and for most users this would be more than enough.

Hyvä laite niin pitkään kuin toimii. Näytön kuva sekoaa parin käyttöviikon jälkeen, jolloin 2/3 kuvasta punertaa, hämärtää ja hidastelee. Muuten olen tyytyväinen.

I Have been researching this tv for the past 2months. It ticks all the right boxes as I have sky q, so I am not interested in any built in tv apps and I have surround sound so the tv sound is good enough but not essential. have still to calibrate the picture properly but out the box the 1080 hd is great, but the 4k is phenomenal. The black levels are amazing and are so good you would think this led is an oled.I am watching the Lion King via Disney + and the images are breathtaking.

Excellent picture quality, but tv recording is really very limited not as good as a 1980s video recorder in this respect, also the apps other than Netflix, amazon YouTube are totally pointless

you wont regret it, and its a bargain for the money

OK TV, areas for improvement especially because of the price.

Great value for money, real quality product, meets all the specifications, makes viewing a real pleasure.
