This could've been a good digital detox device, but some bugs are hard to look past:
- If you sync contacts from e.g. Google, 2 seconds after opening the contacts app it will always start resyncing and all your contacts will disappear for minutes, so it's pretty useless
- The hardware can barely handle built-in web apps like maps, browser or twitter (points to detox usecase, I guess...)
- Couldn't get anti-theft feature to work
- The lag between triggering google assistant and it actually starting to listen is like 5 seconds
All in all, KaiOS is still quite raw in 2021, and you shouldn't expect this device to be officially updated to 3.0 whenever that comes out
