Bought this as a replacement, lots more features that I won't necessarily use. Some parts do seem a bit flimsy, one the paper tray. time will tell if they are sturdy enough.

Easy to set up and print quality is good. Doesn't sound as smooth and substantial as my previous Pixma printer but time will tell.

Lovely to have a printer again. Easy to set up and use, just a tiny bit fiddly putting the ink in.

I have had the printer for just over a month and I am very happy with it.

Meets my requirements; I'm a Canon fan ie previous printer excelled and I'm confident this new machine will perform likewise.

Easy to use, once guidance given. Prints double sided which saves paper. Easy to change inks and add paper.

Is a replacement to an HP printer, but feature wise apart from the document feeder for scanning. Cartidges smaller so guess I'll be buying more often.

My old Canon modell MG5350 1 at home and 1 on my Countryside, the had a match better colorprinting until the get fault B 200 no spareparts in Sweden

Simple to use and fab quality results. I bought it to replace my previous Canon Pixma and not disappointed that I did.

Replaces previous PIXMA printer and has similar features, but more compact and automated. Initially had trouble connecting it to Laptop. I telephoned for advice to Cannon who courteously explained the problem - set-up issue within laptop; device now working well.

Lightweight, compact printer/scanner. Good instruction display panel. Scanning not as easy as other machines but fine once you work it out! Not used it for photo printing so can't comment on that side of things.

Reasonable price, quickly delivered and easy to set up.

Does all the usual features plus I like the fact it has 2 paper feed trays so I can select either thin cheapie paper for my own records or slightly heavier weight paper for customer quality invoices.

I do, however, have to always select which tray to use with each print. Would prefer if I could select within settings which one I want as a default tray. Relatively minor criticism though.

Printer works fine. Easy to set up.

My previous printer had stopped working (for a simple reason, I suspect), so I needed to get another. I wanted one with individual ink cartridges, as that is what I had previously and it gives me better control over replacing the cartridge when needed. Canon advised on what to get and offered a discount too, so it was a no brainer!

The scores below are because I feel the machine is a little fragile. The tray that comes out when printing seems very lightweight and I wonder how long it will last

Super easy setup, prints really well...

I bought this copier as the recommended replacement for my much-lamented PIXMA MP640, which apparently cannot be repaired any more (Fault B200). It is not as well-made and seems flimsy in comparison but has done what I have wanted it to do so far. I haven't used it much so time will tell if it will last as long (I bought the MP640 in November 2009 and it 'died' in early December 2022). I find the controls trickier to use as they are on a small screen and difficult to see for an older person like myself but I suppose I will get used to them in time.

When the printer eventually recognised my iMac I could use it. The operating instructions could be more clear.
