A fun extra to the mixer. But of a faff to set up and clean vs just manually adding the ingredients. It does sift the flour nicely. The first scales I had were faulty but replaced with no fuss by KitchenAid.

Bought this at a good price as it felt like a luxury buy after putting it together which is a bit fiddly used it for the first time and really pleasantly surprised. I made a batch of salted caramel cupcakes and everyone said they were delicious and shop quality. The only thing I did different was to sieve the flour and icing sugar for the buttercream using my new sieve attachment. The sponge was light and airy and the buttercream smooth and creamy. Definitely recommend this item if you bake….. game changer.

Was excited to use this after purchasing but was very disappointed, it did not sieve the flour or icing sugar! This is the first KitchenAid purchase that has disappointed, and I have quite a few products in my kitchen.

Love this nifty gadet. It fits snugly onto the kitcheaid. The measurements are correct on the scales. You can only measure when attached to the kitchenaid. Which is fine because thats when you preferably want to start measuring your flour. Has a cool valve that prevents flour

from sifting until you're ready. Has an extention which you pull out so the flour is sifted straight into the bowl. No mess. No need to stand there and sift anymore. It does the sifting in perfect timings and increments. Although a little noisy, i actually enjoy the sounds it makes and watching it go into the bowl. The children think its cool. It doesn't take too long to sift a full 160z of flour (which is near to full capacity i think). Great product, hands free, no mess & fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ideal for weighing and sifting flour directly into the mixer when baking, it's easy and mess free. Works particularly well for with wet into dry recipes. I've not had any problems over beating when used for adding dry into wet but you could always take off the beater. I checked it against scales and its accurate when hooked onto the mixer but not always when used as a stand alone scale as mine doesn't seem to sit well on the worktop but this isn't important to me. Easy to separate and wash afterwards. I was a bit sceptical pre purchase whether it would be worth buying but very glad I did.

It makes it so easy to measure ingredients and sift them into the bowl - much cleaner than me doing it manually!

It's a useful tool to sift flour (or whatever you're sifting) whilst simultaneously whisking/beating/folding your mixture. It is a little difficult to clean although most parts do come apart to make it easier.

Great item, save on washing up, and space saving item

Makes the whole process easier, however I was hoping that it would stop the cloud of flour dust that occurs when sieving, unfortunately it doesn’t even with the guard.

I’ve wanted a KitchenAid for many years so I was over the moon when my husband surprised me with one recently. This is a brilliant piece of kit using it is a dream I absolutely love it, and the attachment it came with is brilliant a sifter with weighing scales love love love everything about KitchenAid 👌😊

I bought this attachment because I thought a fitted scale and sifter would be more effective, and it really is. I am totally impressed with it.

I have found it bulky & not easy to use. You need a lot of space as once in position the mixer becomes quite tall.

I like the concept but the sieve is not fine enough. It would be helpful to be sold with this and a finer sieve attachment. Also lots of separate bits so can be tricky to clean and if it’s still a little wet in all the different compartments you’re ingredients will get soggy and stuck. Expensive for what it is.

This is a superb attachment. Easy to assemble and attach to the mixer. May ease the sifting of icing sugar ( no dust in the air!).

Only holds 500 gm flour. Otherwise perfect for the job.

Great for cake and pancake making as well as pizza dough- speeds up the process

It does save having to pre sieve ingredients and it adds at good pace. However im 5'4" and when its attached its a little too high. But it was an indulgence. The scale is useful again saving you having to pre weigh.

Love these scales and sifter. My only criticism would be that it’s a bit noisy
