I purchased this product to use occasionally before meetings or if I can see or feel stubble growth during the day. It is perfect for this and gives an excellent close shave. Good value for money. Holds a good charge too so reliable to use whenever needed.

Very pleased with the shaver 1000 series so far, easy to use and clean, this is my 2rd 1000 series shaver. wil buy another one when this one needs replacing,

love the fact you can wet and dry shave ,it handles superbly and gives a nice comfortable shave all in all as always a great product from Philips.

This shaver has been returned due to the actual power of the motor although fully charged for several hours as recommended. It was very under powered to cope with mt stubble, which wasn’t as heavy growth. It would pull the stubble causing discomfort.

Given 3 star due to recharging only done by a USB connector lead supplied. I have and i would think many bathrooms and on-suites have a dedicated shaving socket? Why should you have to pay extra to convert? Manufacture should supply main two pin shaving plug as previous model did. Other than that yes a decent shaver.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

Difficult to get a close smooth shave. I have to press too hard and my face gets sore. Ihave had Philips shavers for years and this one is up to the job.

Haven’t had an electric shaver for 60 yrs and this little shaver is excellent. I am able to obtain a good result after 5 minutes and a single charge gives me a weeks shaving without having to run down the battery. Good value for money and very easy to clean.

Have used a Phillips shaver for years, previous shaver lasted about twenty years. A good shaver but head a little on the large size compared to old razor, not as good as my previous shaver - feels quite cheap in construction!!

Very impressed with this razor, I've moved over from wet shaving and found the move trouble free, the new razor is was to use and keep clean and cut nice and close without any irritation.

This product does not give clean shave , disappointed with the product would not recommend.

Product seems underpowered even on a full charge. No cleaning brush included.

Overall pretty good, but the blade fades very quickly after a couple of shaves—though it’s also possible I didn’t fully charge it.

The charge lasted a long time before needing to be charged which is fine, but the shave itself was disappointing not as good as my old one I thought the name Philips would be a better shave would not buy again

Have had excellent usage of Philips products for many many years & now is no different.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.
