I was given the Philips All‑in‑One Trimmer Series 5000 by Phillips to test, and it’s been a great addition to my grooming routine. The trimming performance is smooth and consistent, and the range of attachments makes it easy to switch between beard shaping, detailing, and quick tidy‑ups. The blades feel precise, and I haven’t experienced any pulling or discomfort.

The battery life stands out and a full charge lasts for several uses, and the charging time is reasonable. The trimmer itself feels sturdy without being heavy, and the grip is comfortable to hold, even during longer sessions.

Overall, it’s a versatile and reliable trimmer that handles everyday grooming really well.

Poorly designed in every aspect, first issue is the position of the power button precisily where you place your thumb when shaving, the attachments are all loose enough to move and when using the dialed beard trimmer the cut length doesn't reflect the setting, it simply doesn't change, the blade does not offer a sharp finish unless being used with none of the numerous attachments. Over all terrible product trying to do way too many things and not achieving any of them properly. Reverted back to my 10 year old babyliss trimmer that still provides a more accurate and cleaner cut, sorry Phillips but this is a fail.

Good quality build. So many different heads to choose from for any type of trimming. Recommend to anyone as it is so versatile.

I chose the product because of the brand, but it didn't turn out as I expected. It's good, but not the best product or number one. It performs well, but it can improve on the final result and accessories.

I purchased this to replace a Philips beard trimmer I had had for over 20 year, it was still working but I broke part of it during cleaning. This product is quite simply excellent. It does all parts of the body precisely and safely. I am particularly impressed with the attachment for more delicate areas. The fine adjustments for beard length is easy and effective. Nasal hair trimmer works very well too.

I didn't realise how much easier it was to have a cordless trimmer. My previous one was corded

Pratique, bonne batterie. Dommage il y a pas de trousse pour le rangement. La housse n'est pas pratique.

Stopped turning on and charging after half a year of work. It seems that water got in. Photo of what I saw inside is attached.

Before the breakdown I was happy with it

The product is very good as a beard trimmer / eyebrows / nose & ear / body hair but, it’s not a good head hair trimmer. I have my hair very short and there is an adjustable head with various settings but it is way too small and you need to hold the trimmer and guard at an odd angle to make it work properly. Took an age to cut my hair myself and even then, had to ask my wife to get all the bits I’d missed.

Good battery life. The trimmer was reasonable in performance.

This is now the second Phillips multi groom after the battery on my original died. The only irritating complaint I have with the new one is the position of the on off switch which is positioned on the ergonomic part of the trimmer that you would hold. Every time I use it I manage to switch it off at least three times!

The product works well for my needs, however I think with the number of attachments the carry case could be better so that you could arrange sections for each operation

I had this trimmed for about two years and stop working and Cid not want to charge. I opened it and find out that some electronic elements was glued to the motherboard and with time glue just dissolve. I believe it is designed to work for particular time. I also found rust on rotor and on other parts what clearly showing that it is not fully waterproof or is there condensation problem which have impact on degradation of electronic.For that experience product it is not fair !!! No more Philips !!!

The device has various types of blades and attachments giving it versatility. It charges quickly and gives good runtime. I wish it had a locking function for travelling, battery level indicator, and the longer attachments (9mm, 12mm 16mm) has a smoother edge (body guard) like the smaller ones.

Trimmer/ shaver is very good so far. It charges quickly and does the job quickly and efficiently. The only issue I have is its 13 in 1, not 14 in one as advertised. While a small issue, I do not like to be tricked. Also, for a product with as many heads, it would have been nice if the storage was something a bit better than the pouch provided.

I've used this trimmer for around 6 months, It's sharp, accurate and versatile. I,ve used it to maintain a beard and have also used it to remove the beard for a clean shaven look took too.It retains charge well, l would not hesitate in recommending this trimmer.

Lots of attachments. For all areas of the body. No need to buy extra clipper attachments, every type I need.

Easy to change attachments too.
