This is my third one. They don't deliver to the island so I have to order it and get my children to bring it. The last two leaked out of the pouring sprout. But i can't get other one because they are too heavy with it filled. This is just the right weight and 2.5m cord. I bought it again just hoping this one will not leak but it does again now after 9 months' use. :(

Super quality as Philips is known for. Happy to have it.

First of all I have received my iron after a month and when I unpacked it, I found it was a defective piece. I was not expecting this from Philips and this is really disappointing.

For me, pleasing design, good features & easy use. Best iron I've had.

Brilliant iron super smooth, the best iron I have had and I am 75 years old.

Previous irons have lasted the course well and as such work okay for me.

Lovely quality iron, does exactly what it says, "makes ironing easier". After having a cord free this iron has proved to be an excellent choice with long cord, fast heat up.

Nice iron but completely unintelligible instruction booklet. In an attempt to make the instructions universal and language-independent by using mainly illustrations to guide the user, they have confused everyone! The downloadable leaflet is just as bad; why can't they have an instruction booklet like other models in the range, with clear, concise instructions? Grrr!!

This iron is good for anyone wanting a basic steam iron that heats up quickly and generates enough steam to deal with most general household textiles and items of clothing. It maintains temperature well and is easy to use.

It heats up quickly and glides over the clothes removing the creases efficiently. It has a steam setting too. I found I got through my ironing much faster and would definitely recommend.

The iron heats up quickly and the steam generated is perfect for getting out even the most stubborn of creases. I love the different temperature functions; I didn't find it difficult to find the perfect one for the items I was ironing and I also found it cooled quickly when required. I managed to get through a large pile of ironing in no time at all with this iron and didn't encounter any issues with it. The water reservoir is easy to fill and doesn't leak which can be a bugbear with some irons so that's another great factor to consider. It's a great iron and you won't be disappointed.

I can only sing praises of this iron as I only have 1 negative thing about it everything else is very positive.

A bonus for me was the cable lead was longer then most irons I've tried as I normally would have to use an extension lead.

The water tank is large and can last awhile before it needs refilling. The tang head is also big for easy filling. Takes creases out like a dream! Heats up super fast.

My only problem was it left quite afew water drops under the ironing board.

Apart from that I love this iron!! Its ideal for big or small families. Will definitely recommend to everyone in need of an iron that's also budget friendly n does the job like a pro.

Steam boost is ideal for stubborn creases. Large water tank means I don’t need to keep refilling. Drip stop feature ensures no leaks or water drops on your garments. Great little product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by how light the iron is and was initially concerned that it wouldn't be as effective as my previous iron but it is fantastic.

For a start, it heats up super quickly. I was amazed at how quickly it reached the highest temperature.

The various options for steaming give you plenty of choice and I like that there is an Eco option which was great for many items. We have high thread count bed sheets which usually take me an age to get all the creases out of but this iron whizzed through them - I couldn't believe the difference.

Overall, it made the ironing much quicker but also more comfortable as it isn't as heavy as other options. I highly recommend this iron.

When I took the iron out of the box, I immediately noticed how light it was to hold. I normally find irons quite heavy and cumbersome.

The iron heated up quickly, and the dials on it were easy to use, meaning I could change the temperature up or down easily.

The only minor downside was that sometimes the iron would drip water onto the clothes, but it was only a small amount.

The iron removed creases well from various types of clothing, and did so fast, meaning the ironing was done far quicker.

This iron is light and so smooth to use. It tackles my family’s clothes from my husbands golf gear, my oldest’s school uniforms and my baby’s small items with ease. It doesn’t drip water like my old one did and the much improved steam element speeds up the time it takes too. It heats up so fast which is great for those rushed mornings.

The iron works really well when getting rid of stubborn creases and glides over all clothing materials well. I have had no issues with water dripping out of the iron or any water marks which I have had with previous irons. This iron has helped cut my ironing time by half! This iron has been perfect for when I have needed to iron some clothing last minute.

I wear Egyptian cotton shirts daily for work and they are a nightmare well they were. This little dream is amazing I get some reviews are not genuine but seriously the glide is perfect. Feels good and looks good. Extra long cable too. Never and water marks on clothing.
