Canon i-SENSYS MF113w -mustavalkolasermonitoimitulostin

I needed a non nonsense black and white all in one printer. This is a perfect choice. Simple to set up, easy to use.

Hyvä ja kompaktin kokoinen laite kotitoimistoon. Helppo käyttöönotto kun osaa kotiverkon parametrien asettelun. Hieman toivoisin tummempaa mustaa, mutta voi johtua ensiasennusvärikasetista. Suosittelen!

When looking for a printer, I Googled double sided print capability.

I ended up in the Canon shop, looked at the printers in the range for my budget and noticed the generic heading with Double Sided features. I wrongly ordered a machine in the I-Sensys family assuming that it would do double sided. Alas, the model I ordered didn't have that capability - annoying - my fault.

The printer is good - quick and doesn't take an hour to perform its pre-print wake up rituals. It'll do for the time being. Moral of the story? Check the specification data religiously.

Helppo asennettava, WiFi yhteys toimii, tulostuslaatu hyvä, nopea tulostus myös off-tilasta, eli virta päälle ja n. 15 sek kuluttua voi tulostaa.

Pari pientä asiaa olisin toivonut, eli tulostusta muovikalvolle ja tulostimen kotelon väriksi harmaata (nyt on musta möykky työpöydällä).

Paperin luovutustaso heppoinen, mutta kai kestää kun käsittelee huolella. Paperikasetti olisi voinut olla enemmän sisällä (=piilossa). No. kaikkea ei voi saada näin edulliseen hintaan. Ymmärrän kyllä että Laserin toimintaperiaatteesta johtuen laite on niin kompakti kuin vain voi olla.

Olen kuitenkin erittäin tyytyväinen valintaani.

Laite on toiminut moitteetta. Se oli helppo asentaa, eikä käytössä,ole ilmennyt mitään ongelmia. Laite on tulostettaessa melko äänekäs.

Varmaa Canon laatua. Tekee sen mitä pitääkin.Asennus vähän takkuili alkuun, mutta mukana tulleen DVD-levyn avulla onnistui. Onneksi löytyi ulkoinen optinen asema.

To my disappointment realised only after purchasing that this printer is unable to print on both sides. It is shocking that in 2020 with WiFi, air print and other stuff included we still do not have 2-sided printing as standard.

Hyvä hinta-laatusuhteeltaan. Ainoa miinus mikä jäi itseäni vaivaamaan on, ettei skannaus onnistu kuin kaapelin kautta. Ei auttanut ajureiden asennus CD:ltä , eikä Canonin tukisivustolta. Hyvä perus monitoimikone. Tulostus langattomasti plussaa.

"Linux support both printing and scanning

Available from December 2018."

but no scanning utility available for Linux in the end of December.

I have found this printer to be overcomplicated and doesn't remember its settings. The manuals are insufficient to set it up properly and print quality is poor. Its very fast though. I run small office and work with tech every day and so unless you are a printer engineer don't bother with this printer.
