I bought this projector two years ago and very happy with children.

The good news is that I think this is an excellent bit of kit for the money. I didn't really expect to get a Full HD projector of this quality for my budget. The access to streaming services out of the box isn't great but I have the projector linked up to a blu-ray player which has access to all my subscription services. I was concerned when I bought it, that 600 lumens wouldn't be bright enough. Well if what you're watching doesn't have night scenes it's fine even in a fairly well-lit room. So for most sport it's great even with the lights on. For movies and drama with dark scenes then you need to be in a fairly dark room. But this suits me perfectly as if I'm watching movies or drama I want an "in a cinema" effect anyway (I must get one of those green "exit" signs). Because of the LED lanp the projector is whisper quiet and the prohector stays cool for the same reason.

The downside is this is the second PF50KS that I've bought. The first one was purchased in December 2020 but became unusable just over a week after the warranty ran out in mid-December 2021. Basically the screen lost all its green and so that everything was displayed in shades of purple!

When I purchased my current PF50KS I also bought an extended 4 year warranty. This cost the equivalent of 8% of the purchase price I paid which still leaves a very good value projector.

I’ve had this projector over a year now with moderate use (3 - 4 times a week for an hour of so. I can’t fault it for movie and Netflix use. Okay it’s not a 4K monster but it’s perfect for the average person or family not wanting the spend a fortune. I bypass the internal smart feature and cast direct from a tablet or phone. I’ve never had any issues with it. Battery doesn’t last that long but I’ve only use that feature once and just plugged it in.

Good projector - needs update for Alexa/Google Assistance apps. Connected to Sonos Beam sound bar via HDMI ARC which is nice - but it only allows you to turn the projector on/off via Alexa through Sonos. If Alexa/Google Assistance apps are added, you should be able to control the entire projector and apps like Netflix with voice. Also needs to allow you to control volume on Apple Airpods via remote - currently, the Airpods are on the loudest bluetooth sound level and you can't adjust it. Although rated at 600 lumens - the projected picture can still be seen in a day light room. 1080p looks good but picture becomes slightly blurred in fast paced scenes. The size of the projector is perfect - nice and small (lens cap should have been added for better portability).
