Great choice for students

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like my new screen, love the curves design, the picture is clear and it's made my work a lot easier.

I've had this monitor for years. It has 14.6k hours on it (it shows you in the monitor settings how long it has been on) and it has served me very well. The stand is kinda bad but the picture quality is good and I've had no issues, would recommend.

Checking out can be annoying especially if you're visually impaired

Traded in my old LG 24" monitor after over 15 yrs of working without fault - I am hoping this one will prove equally useable. Just need to get the screen image right for me.

A bright, stable and generous visual platform on which I see everything in clear and colourful detail.

I have both 22MR410 and 22MK600, for green and blue color, 22MK600 is slightly better. For black and contrast, 22MR410 is better. For the response time, 22MR410 is slightly faster. Both monitor have good quality and simple user interface.

Love the monitor! Its hd indeed and the setup is very simple. It would be nice if it has a tilting mechanism but with a desk riser, its just the perfect angle. Delivery period was just 3 days!

I bought the monitor 2 months ago for my daughter. She accidentally hit it with a pen and screen cracked. I’ve had loads of electronics in my life and no one broke so easily.

No Sound.

When I received this there were no instructions on getting the sound to work and I could not find any instructions on line. Great picture.

Good picture quality, good ease of use, awful build quality. The screen would get quite warm and eventually stopped working after owning it a year, during which I only got 6 months use due to an unrelated PC flault.

Good points - Clear screen and good colours. Excellent refresh rate with no flickering.

Bad Points− I've two of these side by side and you would expect them to be exactly the same in height. Unfortunately there is a slight difference which for those that like perfection will find it a little annoyance.

Slim, light weight design with beautiful crisp colourful display. Easy to use on screen menu, and decent inbuilt speakers make this exceptional value for money. Due to thin bevel design, makes placing multiple screens look amazing.

I brought this monitor only a few days ago and it is absolutely awful. The only saving grace is it was easy to mount to the wall, but I may as well have just monunted a Etch A Sketch to the wall instead.

Upon putting it on the wall, the quality just seemed off. Actually worse than my monitor from 2009 (that I had hoped to use as my second monitor, so I was making a side by side comparison)! Yes. A monitor that is 10 years older actually appeared higher quality than this monitor.

This I could have lived with. However I got ghosting on my cursor. When I would move my cursor around the screen a ghostly black or white trail would be left behind. This was an annoyance. What was more unbareable was that whenever I would drag across the home screen in windows to select multple icons, a bright flash would occur after my selection, blinding me as if I had just lit a sparkler on Guy Fawkes' night. These bright white flashes were commonplace in the short afternoon I had the displeasure of spending with this device. As when I opened up my internet browser I found that whenever black text would appear and dissappear (due to scrolling through text, or the text cursor flashing when typing) these bright blinding white flashes would occur. It was physcially painful on my eyes to use this device. I had tried for quite some time battling with the terribly designed "button/joystick" contraption to change the settings, but no matter how much I would adjust my monitor the white flashes persisted.

Gaming with this monitor was no better. Once again the quality was obviously worse than my 2009 monitor. Additionally, the game would become very blurry whenever my avatar in the MMORPG I was playing stood still. For no obvious reason. Once or twice I noticed screen tearing to top off these problems.

I am hoping I will be able to get a full refund as in this buyers opinon the product is defective since it actually is painful to look at and therefore does not function as a monitor.

Do not buy. As for myself I will be boycotting all LG products in the future. I am beyond dissapointed.

Tämä oli vähän heräteostos läppärin näytön avuksi kun matkustaa paljon. Joten listaan nyt positiiviset ja negatiiviset puolet näytöstä. Ostin tämän näytön vähän väärillä spekseillä ja omassa käytössä en pääse hyödyntämään Freesync-tekniikkaa ollenkaan, koska läppärin jota käytän tämän kanssa ei puskekkaan signaalia ulos AMD:n näytönohjaimella, mutta Nvidian näytönohjaimella, joka ei tietenkään tue adaptive synciiä (Freesync/G-sync) HDMI:n yli ja joka on ainoa ulkoisen näytön portti koneessa. Joten omaa tyhmyyttä kun en katsonut tarkemmin ja maksoin n. 30-50€ enemmän 75Hz + Freesync tuesta.

Jos haluaa käyttää tätä näyttöä AMD:n adaptive syncillä, niin tarvitsee luultavasti Asus ROG Zephyrus G GA502 variantin samasta TUF gaming läppäristä hieman heikommalla näytönohjaimella mutta mahdollisuudella ajaa näyttöä usb-C => HDMI kaapelin yli jolloin G-Syncin saa luultavasti päälle (tästä ei tietenkään ole mitään takeita ennen kuin kokeilee).

Plussat:

• Todella hyvä ja kirkas IPS kuva.
• Kevyt
• Pienet reunat
• Pelit toimii hyvin 75Hz panelilla, mutta tämä IPS paneli suttaa kuvaa aika rajusti jos on nopeasti liikkuvaa kuvaa (vs. läppärin oma 120hz IPS paneli joka on valovuosia parempi kuin tämä).
  
  

Miinukset:

• 75Hz ei paljon muuta sitä tosiasiaa että kyseessä hyvä, mutta vanha IPS panelitekniikka jossa g2g vaste on lähempänä 8-10ms kuin mainostettua 4-5ms. Tämän huomaa siitä että kun liikuttaa Windowssisa ikkunaa tekstin kanssa (vaikka tätä arvostelua), niin tekstiä ei pysty lukemaan selvästi. Tälle ei voi tehdä mitään ja tätä monitoria pitääkin katsoa siitä lähtökohdasta että on hyvä perus 1080p näyttö joka vastaa 60Hz IPS panelia.
