After going through many different manufacturers I've got to say that Asus have taken the crown.

The ROG Crosshair VIII Hero is a solid and well designed motherboard! No SATA connectors in the way of the GPU, PCM cooling, gorgous lighting that is compatible with Corsair iCue, and looks amazing! The good things don't stop there; The BIOS/UEFI is so well laid out and easy to navigate which is something no other manufacturer has managed to do yet, and as an IT Tech, I've seen many.

I have zero complaints about this motherboard, it's just worked like a beast since I installed it and I haven't had any problems at all!

Bought with a 3900x ready for when the new were released. Luckily got my 5950 before it all went pairshaped, still had to wait a few weeks but worth it in the end. Excellent motherboard, all good features on board. Excellent VRMs etc just what you need.

Possibly one of the best boards I have owned. Loads of features for overclocking. The board is lovely to look at and is incredibly stylish looking. ASUS have made a proper masterpiece of kit here

Good motherboard but it doesn't support Ryzen 9 out of the box. You can however update the bios with a USB stick. Would recommend.

The crosshair 8 hero looks amazing and does everything I need it to no complaints A+
