What an upgrade, nothing wrong with my old Tuf x570-plus.

Benchmark scores are all higher than before, with same bios settings.

My CPU runs cooler and faster, memory xmp profile worked without problems.

Such a well made motherboard as all Asus are, I swapped out boards and everything started as normal after setting all my bios settings.

CPU is not only running faster on all the cores but also around 10c cooler (5900x).

Superb, well made with all the features and extras anyone would want..

The motherboard is astonishingly powerful, with loads of IO. It is easy to install and set up, with lots of possible expansion options. There are 3 full x16 and 2 x4 slots with two of the x16 being reinforced primary graphics slots. With 12 USB 3.2 ports, there are more than enough to house ALL of your peripherals. My only complaint would be that the rear RGB connector used the same footprint and pin layout as a 14+1 Trusted Platform Module. This can cause the motherboard to display the unused 00 error message until you remove it. If you need one, you nave to buy a 16+1 module. My one suggestion to ROG would be to take a look at their Q-Connector, mine is extremely lose so I had to either leave it off, or tape the front IO in place, defeating the whole point.

great m.b went u look at the boards for amd and u think back to the fx 8350 days u can see how far they have come great board less then 400 pound and got all the bells and whistles on it the only thing is there's 8 sata ports u only get 4 sata cables pls ASUS give full amount in future and improve on software the is probably in top 5 boards ln2 overclocking vrm never go over 50c in summer WENT U THINK HOW MUCH ROG EXTREAM M.B NOTHING BETWEEN THEM SORRY ASUS BUT ITS WHAT I THINK!

Very good lots of features I'm very happy without this board

It is hard to review a motherboard that can be overclocked. Never had a board like this before. Looking forward to learning what and how to overclock a pc as never done any overclocking before.

I bought the motherboard mainly for the io on the rear of it…

It is not a cheap ( retrospectfully) for a motherboard. But hopefully has a chance to grow as pc parts become more available at a reasonable cost…

Great motherboard, works great with the amd 5950x.

excellent power delivery support for ram and cpu supporting 128gb of ram with a 5950x used for development work with excellent stability and expandability

High end board, very easy to install and lots of features. The board has a lot of future proofing i.e. PCIE gen 4.

A great board, but the chipset fan is a bit loud. The fan spins at 2700 rpm which is a frequency our ears are very sensitive to. The fan is shrouded by the graphics card which means it has to work hard to cool the chipset.

The RGB wont light up like it use to be when turn on or off.

Excellent motherboard, went with this top of the range board as i went for an all ROG build, had no problems with this after nearly a year of use, easy to install updates with supplied software.

Pretty much all you need from a MoBo. The lower PCIe socket is a bit too low and kind of useless in most PC Cases. All-in-all I'm happy with it.

Good overclocker but it’s let down by the chipset fan being loud even at stock speeds

Tässä emolevyssä on about kaikki mitä voi tarvita. Komponentit on laadukkaita ja virransyöttö on viimeisen päälle. Mitä tulee Ryzen 3000 sarjan ylikellotukseen, tämä lauta on kyllä overkill, 3900x:lle on mahdotonta syöttää jännitteitä ja taajuuksia mihin tämä lauta pystyisi. Sinänsä prosessorilinja on uusi joten tiedä sitten miten siihen tulee päivityksiä, mutta tällä hetkellä Ryzen max multi core normaalikäytössä on about 4.3Mhz ja jännitettä siihen tarvitsee alle 1.4v sillä eikä muisteja kannata yli 3800 kellotella. Eri asia on tietenkin esim. kilpailumielessä kellotus. Itse ostin tämän laadun, PCI 4 ja USB liitäntöjen takia enemmänkin. Biosissa on myöskin lähes kaikki mahdolliset säätömahdollisuudet hyvin järjesteltynä, tuulettimien säätö erityisesti on täydellistä.

Huonoja puolia:

• Bios on hidas, käynnistys ei paljon alle 50 sekunnin onnistu. Vanhalla kokoonpanolla meni n. 16 sekuntia.
• Joissain koteloissa saattaa tuottaa ongelmia front panel USB-3.0 liittimen paikka, se on horisontaalisesti lautaan nähden.
• Hinta
• Asuksen RGB- ja muut ohjelmistot ovat heikohkoja mutta niin on muidenkin emolevyvalmistajien
• Koko ekosysteemi uusi joten yllätyksiä saattaa tulla
