Very disappointed with this TV. It has two fundamental problems:

1. The electronic TV guide has endless problems. It takes around 60 seconds to load programme info, or sometimes it will not load anything at all.
2. LED dimming is very poor. The edge lighting often means that dark scenes are unevenly lit. You will get grey on one half of the screen, and black on the other.

Overall, I would not have bought this TV had I known it would have these issues.

Brilliant TV but not for dark scenes due to poor local dimming. Trying to watch a dark film like Batman is very difficult because the light blooms half the screen in light which moves . I switched the local dimming off and had to tweak the settings for each screen type. That is the only negative but an annoying one which almost made me return the TV. The TV redeemed itself by being very easy to use with lots of functions and apps. The picture is excellent (other than dark scenes) and the sound is good as well with clear voices and decent bass. The magic remote is very good, comfortable to hold, and easy to use. The smart functions and software are very user friendly with practically every streaming service available.

Sound isn't "tinny".

EPG somewhat slow to load, as though it either doesn't use the internet or doesn't cache the schedule from the terrestrial aerial signal.

Built-in features (Amazon, BBC iPlayer, etc) all seem to work well.

The 'joystick' type control system takes a little getting used to, as do how the numerous buttons/options work (tis is my first 'smart' TV, so no surprise things are different).

We have a TV Recorder connected to HDMI and if watching Live TV an annoying pop-up appears every so often prompting for the device even though it is in standby.

This tv has all the features I wish my 2018 premium LG OLED Had. The smart features in conjunction with the magic remote is class leading. The wifi is always connected so no pause in waiting for apps to connect to the gateway. Atmos sound From the tv speakers themselves offers depth and a spacial effect. The picture quality is good at this price point but occasionally can be seen self adjusting to the lighting conditions and doesn’t compare to my OLED but is nonetheless very good.

The colours and definition of the TV are great. The remote has handy Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Rakuten TV buttons to open up their apps. The response time is also good and navigating through the apps with the magic remote to point and click makes everything simple and easy to use. My only issue with it is in dark scenes where the TV seems to auto brighten and auto dim intermittently. This can be quite annoying but it only happens in dark scenes.

It's a really nice picture, turns on quick and have linked it into are home automation easy would buy again.

I was blown away with this tv. It was easy to set up, has a great picture and love all the apps. I bought mine via Richer Sounds who are the best for their customer service.

Toimiva peli. Kaukosäädin hieman hapuileva, Dplaytä ei saa näkymään tällä LG:llä. Muutoin toimii moitteettomasti.

Menin sitten ostamaan uuden telkkarin ja siirryin älyaikaan sillä saralla. Tuote on toiminut moitteettomasti, kuvan laatu on hyvä, ja käyttömukavuus ilmeisen ok. Vielä en ole kaikkia hienouksia edes selvittänyt.

Ostin kauppiaan suosituksesta. Olen pääosin tyytyväinen ostokseen. Kaukosäädin normaalista poikkeava, mutta pienellä harjoittelulla mukava käyttää. TV:n kalibroini on kysymysmerkki näin vanhemmalle henkilölle. Ei oikein selviä mistään, kuinka se pitäisi tehdä. Tehdasasetuksena sitä ei käsittääkseni ole tehty. Olisi kiva tietää ainakin suurin piirtein oikeat kalibrointiasetukset ilman lisävempaimia. Lisäpalveluna ilmeisesti saatavilla, mutta maksaa turhan paljon.

Kuvan kirkkaus vasten aurinkoa ei niin hyvä, kuin vanhassa telkassa "jalkapallotilassa", vaikka käyttäisi kirkkainta vaihtoehtoa.

Tässä tv.ssä hinta / laatu kyllä on kohdallaan hyvä helppo käyttöönotto kaukosäädin todella hyvä

Tuote on vastannut täysin odotuksia. Enimmäkseen tullut katseltua Netflixiä, Yle Areenaa ja Ruutua. Myös PS4-konsolilla pelattu nettipelejä ja vastannut myös siinä käytössä odotuksia. Kaukosäädin on kätevä, suosittelen.

Vaihdoin vihdoin vanhan TV+digiboksi+Apple -yhdistelmän ja kolme kaukosäädintä tähän LG:n TV:hen ja astuin nykyaikaan. Nyt ovat antennikanavat, HBO, Netflix, Spotify, nettiradiot ym samassa laitteessa. Kuvanlaadun hienoisia eroja en käynyt selvittämään kilpailevien laitteiden kanssa, ja sitä onko OLED parempi kuin QLED. Ratkaiseva valintakriteeri oli käyttömukavuus ja LG:n kaukosäädin, jossa saadaan mm. ruudulle liikuteltava kursori.

Hyvä ja helppokäyttöinen. En osaa runsassanaisemmin kuvailla, mutta jotain on pakko laittaa.
