The Optigrill Elite is quite compact and sturdy grill. It gives you a nice feeling of grilled with the ribbed surface. The temperature goes quite high up to 270 and is easily adjustable. It's nice to have the possibility to adjust the temperature according to food and how you want the end result. As I am quite fond of cooking I am not really a fan of all the different settings, they are a bit confusing and hard to navigate. But I can imagine that they are welcomed by people who like cooking to be quick and easy. One big advantage is the possibility to remove the cooking plats and easily wash them in the dishwasher. I think the Optigrill Elite is a great tool especially for people who like cooking to be fast, easy and clean. For someone who enjoys cooking I don't know if it really is necessary, with all its functions, but maybe a fun extra gadget to make great grilled cheese (although a pricey one).
