Despite entire days spent on the User Guide and following the steps meticulously, there is no connection whatsoever possible between my smartphone and the camera. This is the only finction that made me buy this camera, so it's going back to the shop for another model of a very different brand. No SONY ever again into my house.

Good photos, easy to use, good battery life and not a bad price

Bought as a gift, I was thrilled with it. I have not used a Sony before. I have had quite a few cameras in my time, and I use them to take photos to paint, so carry them always.

This one is a lovely one. I am not one to look at instructions, and follow to the letter, I prefer to learn as I go along. There is always something surprising to learn!

The photo quality is great and I have taken photos of the moon which I have not been able to do before.....not with the clarity I get with the Sony.

I have used the video but not much so, as far as that is concerned, it seems fine....so far.

One drawback I found ( as soon as I saw the camera) was not being able to look through a lens, as well as having the screen to look at. I have always much preferred to take pics this way and if it is sunny, it can block a lot of the glare out.

Also, the battery 'door', with the 'open and shut' switch is a bit of a faff. A couple of times I thought I had closed it and it hadnt quite 'caught' so it just flipped open. Not great for people with dexterity issues.

My husband bought this for me to save me keep recharging AA batteries! The batteries in this one last a lot longer.

All in all, so far, I am VERY happy with this . And am enjoying finding out all the little nuances that come with it.

I was looking for a second camera, in addition to my DSLR, and I found the Sony HX60. It's cheap, small, with lots of extra features for setting up. It is a good compromise between technology and quality. Can be used spontaneously on the go!

I am a Structural Surveyor in the Construction industry and use this camera on a daily basis and it is all I need, it takes great pictures and the zoom and remote functions are fantastic. All the camera most people will ever need a real little gem.

I bought it thinking I could take pictures and transfer them to my tablet through the wifi connection on the camera but I could never find the right app to use with my android tablet. Also I cannot download any videos onto my laptop except using the sony website and then I cannot find a way of sending them onto friends.I have messed around and looked on the sony website but get stuck at the same stage as I cannot find the appropriate app. Frustrated and disappointed.To cap it all, the button to press when you want to take movies is just where you hold the camera so you end up filming things you do not want

Have it a year now and it does exactly what I want. Only thing is I would like to operate the shutter remotly

Bought this product to replace my hx-90 which packed up ( power supply problem ). Build quality better more solid. only downside not having no view finder?. picture results excellent by the very good 30 x zoom lens. images easily transferred to my Sony mobile via wi-fi featured in camera. highly recommended.

Very disappointed in the camera, couldn’t believe it wasn’t as good as I expected!!!

Extremely well made, comfortable grip and superb quality images.

The camera takes great photos but it's not for the armature. Very complicated to use, too many tech terms to understand. mainly used on one setting. Will have to Google the manual to try to understand more. Screen very hard to see in bright, could do with a viewfinder.

Just point n click, doesn't lose any quality using zoom

I have not really used it properly yet, but found it good value for the money. I have brought it as a pocket camera for my street photography and will put it through its paces shortly.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago to replace an older model which i had for about 8 years,

the flash broke and was going to cost as much as a new camera to repair.

I bought this compact camera for the zoom and lens for outdoors photography. It is much better than expected and I couldn't be happier. The camera is small enough to fit in a pocket and I have been using it every day since I purchased it. So far I have tried it with birds, sports and the moon with outstanding results.

As for the not so positives, the camera does not include a memory card (or better put, mine didn't); Sony have released a new app so the app in my manual was outdated; as with any other camera, it takes time to learn how to use the physical zoom (the slightest movement of the physical zoom will translate into a big movement on the screen)

All in all, I love this camera!!!!

Bought this recently to replace an out dated camera and I am so glad I chose this model, it’s got so many useful features and is so easy to use!

Simple easy to use camera. Love that I can take lots of pics per second. Takes lovely clear photos. Good weight not too bulky.

i bought this camera a couple of weeks ago, it is amazing and the quality of the pictures taken is second to none. this camera is so easy to use and that combined with all the features you will be able to take great pictures no matter what the light conditions are

This is modern upgrade to a HX7V I had. The features are excellent, the photos and videos are very good. Just another Sony success. One thing I struggled with was is small size, as I am 6ft 1 inch tall, I did find it a bit tedious to hold and use, but apart from that its a great camera.

Don’t really know much about cameras but it’s so easy to use and you get what you pay for.
