Great difficulty in finding out how to use USB stick recording facility and switching from YouView to FreeView. Freeview Play is not available.

Regional Repair Centre Engineer was very friendly and willing to repair the issue by changing television brain in the TV. Purchased some years ago still covered under warranty 5years. Just need the Sony - KD-49XG8096 Television leg screws to put my TV up have requested from Sony.

Received my Sony Bravia yesterday and the quality of the product is amazing definitely (Sony) worth it 💯

Bought second hand, would have been disappointed if id bought it new. Controller fiddly with buttons close together with mispressing buttons near the directional buttons. Also changing from HD to All channels often is irritating. WiFi keeps dropping in and out despite near by router and Good signal. However picture quality good

Absolutely flawless image, there's a reason I've only had Sony TVs. Unfortunately however this TV does seem to be let down by it's outdated android software and sticky buttons putting my soundbar to 100% and scaring my neighbours let alone my partner

Had a problem since I received my tv with the Freesat. I set it up all good but when I turn tv back on the Freesat channels all gone, not impressed. Been in touched with Sony but they’re not interested

Had this TV several years. Performs well although it occasionally drops the wifi signal, simple reboot of tv fixes this. One frustration my Sony bluetooth headphones will not communicate with this tv [confirmed by Sony technical]

Since I purchased my TV it has a lot of issues.

It switches off by her self for no reason also is loosing the internet signal. I updated the TV but it still has the same problems.

Is there anything we can do about that ?

I am using it for three years already and I find it a good TV for this price. You want a faster processor? Buy one more expansive.

We needed to replace our old smart tv and choose Sony. If we had realised that we would have difficulty accessing BBC iplayer, and other tv apps (My5; 4 etc) then we would have kept with our Samsung

Love it next one will be an upgraded screen type eg.amoled

Awful tv. Really clunky to use. Crap. Half the apps don’t work and it doesn’t support a lot of apps I want to install

It seamed prudent to do a review after a period of use so here I am. My Wife was initially in awe of the size, now she wouldn’t have it any other way. The picture is awesome. Christal clear and we have had to get used to seeing the pores of celebrities as the picture is ridiculously sharp. It’s highly adjustable I love the fact that it uses Android and an App based interface for streaming services. Nice slick processor without too much lag. Works with a Bluetooth keyboard and usb dongle which is spot on for Email and password entry. Great but if tech and really pleased I made the purchase.

Changing channels is a chore with a time lag which is not acceptable on such an up to date telly. But the picture and sound quality is pretty good.

Can go wrong with Sony, great picture quality and good sound quality

Great tv but it irritates me that there is no freeview app to watch normal tv through the internet

Bought this about two years ago and have been highly satisfied. Unfortunately now we can’t seem to get the new channel itvx when I’m told it is available to other tv makes.
