An excellent printer which caters for all my needs except that I was hoping it would turn on when I send a print request instead of having it on standby 24/7. Otherwise perfect.

The printer replaced an older model. It prints well, but the one criticism is the fact that the little information 'window' is not illuminated so I have to use a torch to see what it is saying. With respect to Canon, I think this is a seriois and unnecessary omission.

Very easy to install/setup on the phone.

Somewhat troublesome to install on the pc but thats mostly Bill Gates worthless Windows 10s fault.

(I solved it by skipping the installer and just installing the pure driver, then i was able to install the programs afterwards.)

this is a back up printer as my another printer was not working correctly due to paper

Good quality photo prints, easy to use and setup.

I had a Pixma ip7250 before this (seven years), used it a lot to print onto blank CD's and DVDs. let's hope this lasts as long.

I always buy Canon printers, I was attracted to this to replace my dying pixma 7250. Five inks, great. Wireless great. amongst the drivers on my new nokia g,42, great. smaller footprint, great BUT. You neglected to say that the flap for the top paper feed needs an extra six inches of headroom; auto wifi set-up is useless; there is no cd rom for a macbook; there is no backlight for the miniature display; using the "keyboard" to manually input wifi passwords is a very cumbersome affair, somewhat akin to tapping your head and rubbing your belly; the usual Canon ink wasting routine attached to most functions and the lack of manual. No wonder you are selling them off cheap. A very frustrating day spent on the most basic of set up. All that said, the print quality seems good, fingers crossed!

I bought this Canon TS705a for about a month ago. Very happy as it works perfect with great copies, fast and quiet. Easy to start up. Small size. Like the info screen but it is too small.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and it's been great for edible printing. More to explore but like it alot.

Glad I bought this one as it prints from the internet.

My husband already has one of these and has been very pleased with it. I have bought this one for my pc on his recommendation.

Very please with my purchase. Only one thing which could br better and that is that the screen add a back light. Other than that I'm happy.

My third canon printer in 15 years but very disappointed with this one at they seem to be cutting corners in production and adding so many new features that it complicates the operation for an old geezer like me! I just want a simple printer that I can read the error code on the front without having to use a torch.

Not super user friendly, very confusing set up, I’ve tried using it it a couple of times now and when it eventually prints it’s fine and good colour etc but the effort to get there is not worth the hassle

I have had Canon printers and copiers before so it was a natural choice after 7 years of service with my old Canon printer to renew, so far so good the printer is doing it's job brilliantly and I am happy, thank you.

Easy to set up (only wireless so far). Very good print quality. Nice that its just a printer not a scanner as well.

Havent used this one yet because I discovered that though black text is blurry on my ip7250 and there is no fix, I can print blue text. So this printer is still in its box for now.

Bought this as I needed a cheap basic printer for occasional print jobs. The printer itself is ok but the app for printing will not work with a chromebook so I can only print from my phone which is a pain.

It’s easy and uncomplicated. Prints well, quick. It only prints and that’s what I want. I have a separate scanner which suits me just fine.

Disappointed with my previous canon printer had very little use and got error message which caused it to stop working ,had it checked out and was told not worth repairing, I bought this because of the 2 year warranty, time will tell if it lasts,

Happy with previous canon printers, and needed to replace my current 7200, so I plumped for the 705a.Connecting to a windows pc, so should go smoothly with the installation disc. Not. Three days almost of several installs/re installs failed to get this wretched printer to operate wirelessly. (no issues with the 7200).Would not connect via lan, and will only connect and recognise USB. Stupid tiny LCD (UNLIT) with tiny characters need a torch and a magnifying glass to operate.When working though print quality is OK but pointless if you want a wireless printer. When the supplied ink tanks run out, this is going in the bin.Im kicking myself for not heeding similar reviews of this garbage.Hello Hp here I come
