It has worked really well on my TV, but as second extended laptop screen sometimes works and sometimes it looses the resolution (like a 600x800) forcing me to reboot or use the built in HDMI connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it with my Lenovo Yoga 7i. The connection is solid with very little movement. I've been able to use it to connect to TV feeds and overhead projectors with no issue. It's small and unobtrusive for easy carrying and setup.

Nice low profile accessory. Works great and relieves pressure on the laptop because of the larger HDMI cable normally found on laptops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkbook 15Gen2 (11th gen Intel i7-1165G7) only has the older HDMI 1.4b connector (4k30.)

For HDMI2 output capability (4k60/HDR), this adapter is cheaper than buying a Thunderbolt docking-station.

This makes the Thinkbook 15Gen2 a capable device for web-browsing/media-streaming.

Note for PC gamers: if for some reason you plan on gaming on this laptop, understand that integrated graphics are far too slow to play games smoothly at native 4k/60 output. Most older games (6+ years old) will play fine at 1080p 30fps+. newer games will require you to lower the detail graphics settings to get acceptable framerates (above 30fps). For example, Skyrim and Alien Isolation ran without problem all/most options enabled at 1080p, but Fallout 4 and Xcom2 required significantly downgraded settings at 1080.
