My boy is only 2.5 yo but he is 103cm and 18.6kg which is why I bought this car seat as the next stage up from his brutal romer isize birth to 4 years. The car seat is nice although the 5 point harness strap is not long enough. It’s difficult to do it up with him in it and also there is not much strap to pull it right either. Also, a cup holder would have made a nice addition.

I bought this for my 3yo. It’s made in German, not ChiNa, which gives me a peace of mind. Very steady and easy to install

I bought this car seat for my grandson, for the occasions he would be traveling in my car. This seat had great safety reviews for side and frontal impacts over all the age ranges. It was also a good price for age range covered. I am also very pleased it is built in Europe.

We bought this for our 17 month old, she's 10.5kg, and was getting too tall for her baby (back-facing) seat. Fitting this one was easy, adjusting straps to fit her was easy, and she get used to it as soon as she sat in it, there was no 'adjustment period', she just liked it. No complaints!

I bought this product for my 3 and half year old and he seems very comfortable in this chair. We haven’t used the recline so much yet but think it will be enough of a recline for a comfortable sleep. We use the seat belt now as he is too tall for the harness so have never used that part of the seat. I think it’s a well made seat and looks good too.

Really great seat, comfortable, nice settings to reposition when child sleeping and easy set up!

Trusted brand and great awards. Only comment is the straps are very difficult to tighten up so they are snug against child’s chest. You need to really put your weight into it to tighten / pull the strap.

Really happy with this seat. Easy to install. I do get why some people find it hard to fasten the seat belts, it’s not very easy to do as you need both hands but overall, a really great seat with really high scores for safety which is all we really care about, right? The size of the chair is really good too. Not too big. Fits in my Toyota CHR.

We have used this for the last two years for our now three year old. The car seat looks and feels sturdy and safe but the following have caused issues: 1. Head cover increasingly comes off (now almost every time the seat is used) and is difficult to replace, very stressful when the child is upset with the cover crowding around his head and face. we’ve only had to remove the cover for washing a couple of times so it’s not through over use/removal.

1. Click fastening is very stiff to use, I’ve hurt my fingers often trying to release it
2. The clips have to be together to slot in the the fastening and I’ve found it fiddly to use trying to get all three parts in the right place and pushed down to fasten. It takes time and is stressful when in a rush or with an upset, wriggling toddler and leaning into the car at an angle.

Looking back I wish I had tried other seats and wouldn’t recommend this one for long term use given the amount of time and stress it has caused so far.

No problems so far and it’s a great seat, recommend it!

Bought for grandchildren as they grow. Clearly a substantial quality item. There are one or two quirks with belt tightening-finding the release button to loosen the straps which is inside the front of the seat though a couple of practices sorts this. Instructions are a little confusing- as per usual relying on diagrams with a thick written booklet for every language. In practice the seat is actually straightforward to fit. Our 2.5 yr old found the seat very comfortable. As I said, you do feel you're buying a very rugged solid seat. The built in SIPS system is novel but I hope we'll never have to.test it of course.

Excellent example of quality and functionality.

Only criticism was the seat protector is universal and not made specifically for the ADVANSAFIX lV R, which is slightly narrower than some Roemer models.

Bought two chairs for my 2 and 4 year old, they fit them both perfectly for different reasons and are so safely installed (and easy to install). They also look great and I love the tilt back function for sleeping. Their heads are always safe and never tip forward which is great. Over all super happy!

Bought this for my daughter at around 1.4 years. It's super comfortable she sleeps really well in it. It's also easy to instal which is good and the recline function is easy to handle. Obviously, I haven't yet had to adjust the seat to a growing child so I have no idea how easy or difficult that is.

The only thing is my daughter gets car sick quite often, and getting the covers off to wash is quite tricky. On top of that, the shoulder pads can't be taken off for washing, so the seat forever smells of sick which I'm sure makes her feel more queasy.

In hindsight, I'd maybe go with a seat that works both with Isofix and with a seatbelt simply because it makes it more portable between cars if a grandparent wanted to take her or if we needed to get a cab for any reason but its not been a huge deal.

Great product, feels really safe. Easy to access to pop child in and clip-in. Feels really safe, head slots nicely in between the safety cushions.

Improvements I would suggest are a cup holder and a better recline option, because at 15 months when my baby falls asleep her head bobs forward and feels very unsupported. A better recline function would help with this.

Good quality looks really secure and comfortable for my 2 years baby boy. Can tells he is really enjoyed it his new car seat safely is my first consider even expensive than most common product in high street but still worth to have it!

Great car seat, very easy to install and easy to use.The only thing what is still bothering me about it is the way the straps are locked cuz is a but stiff to lock them but other than that is a good, sturdy and comfy car seat !! Would recommend !

I bought car seat for my 14 month baby. It’s very sturdy and has lots of padding and protection. It’s made in Germany /Europe which is important to me to know it’s made using fair labour practices. Baby likes it and falls asleep in it on most car journeys. The belt is quite easy to fasten (not as bad as some reviews suggest) and take off . It will also last until baby grows up to child so no need to buy another seat. Most important it has good safety ratings.

The seat was bought for a 2.5yrs old and aims to last until the child doesn't need a seat anymore. Well built, easy to fit, clear instructions. It is heavy so not ideal to move between cars, didn't come as a surprise. Button to release the adjustable straps is a little hidden so needed to be found, but it's so that the child can't release it. Solid product, would recommend

I bought this car seat for my son best car seat I would definitely recommend it. Very comfortable and you can adjust the seat to your child's requirement and comfort.

After extensive review of toddler car seats, I decided on this one. I like that it's not bulky, and is fairly easy to install (with two persons). My biggest gripe with this seat and reason for only four stars is the difficulty of securing the harness. It is a nightmare! My son is three and a half years old, average size (about 33 lbs), and I have such a hard time getting the harness to clasp together and click. I dread having to do it everyday. I'm really hoping this car seat shines when I start using the car seat belt instead. Overall, it was a good buy, the seat stays in place with virtually no shifting, and it reclines easily. Wish it had a cup holder, but I can't complain about that because I knew that prior to purchasing. I do think it should be included in future models.

Our son, who has just turned three, is ready for the next step up in car seats, having progressed from ones for younger children. We picked this one after looking at reviews for safety and the space in our car.

However, it is a battle to fasten the seat belt every time he gets into it. I have to loosen it as much as possible to get the buckles to meet in the fitting and then pull the strap as much as I can. Still on occasion, however, one of the straps can slip down off his shoulder.

I cannot wait for when he moves up into the next car seat already!
