This is my second Philips body groomer which replaced an older model when the battery gave up. I like the fact it has the two heads so you can shave or trim to a set length. When shaving there is no irritation and produces a clean smooth shave. Battery life is excellent and it’s simple to charge. The previous one lasted 9 years and was still working well, apart from the battery. I believe the newer model have different battery technology so hopefully may last longer!!

I purchased this body groomer to do just that. It does a stellar job of shaving my body and my personal area, I have not experienced any nicks or cuts. Shaves everywhere effortlessly. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

As a replacement for an older model of Philips bodygroom that dies due to dead battery.

I purchased this one and after 6 months this one has died too, wont charge and no light comes on.

When it was working I found the blade heads were just too pointy compared to the previous models.

Go away philips and work on your products they are junk.

I have 6 sonicare toothbrushes and they all dont work, 4 Philips hairtrimmers and all dont work now.

I have been using this product since 2012. I have used 5x devices in the last 12 years as if only last fir 2-2.5 years max. This is the only drawback. Otherwise I am very much satisfied with this product.

It's a safe, effective and efficient product, the best body groomer I've ever had.

I bought this as an upgrade from an identical Philips body groomer which would no longer hold charge. I didn’t expect it to be much different but I have been pleasantly surprised. Of course it is heavier, being dual purpose but, it is well balanced, cuts well without snagging and the battery life is much improved. I haven’t used the hair trimmer yet, but it looks well put together and should work as effectively as the groomer.

Whilst the trimmer/clipper end of the groomer is very good, the shaver head is obscenely loud. It sounds more like a power tool than a body shaver! With that considered, I do not use the shaving head, and it is therefore just a very expensive clipper for me.

I am surprised nobody else has mentioned this, perhaps mine is faulty? If anybody from Philips can comment on this that'd be great.

Love this product.

I have used it to shave my 'personal' areas with no nicks or discomfort. It takes a little time and patience (and ideally a good mirror - haha) but it does work on my wrinkly bits in the 'personal area' leaving them lovely and smooth.

Hoping this review isn't too full on, but I sense that's what most gentleman will be asking themselves when thinking about purchasing. It really is 'all over' the body

I decided to buy this item as I thought it is a practical shaver - 2 in 1 which is easier to carry. It is brilliant

Had loads of gadgets before this but this gets better and better the more you use it, and closer and closer in terms of shave

Very efficient and easy to use. Great battery life.

The shaver is great the problem lies with the charging point snd the waterproof cover it keeps popping open.

So if you are in the shower you have to hold the rubber grommet so the water cannot get into the charging point.

It does an excellent job for the body, haircut and beard .

So far ued twice and it cut so perfectly all hairs and especially all sensible parts. Pain free. Very smooth! And easy to use.

Had massive hopes when they bought out the new Phillips body groome but the head keeps coming off most of the time,Sent it back and got a refund,It’s a great design but they need to work on the stopping the head coming off,Big shame,The older model was incredible

I have used previous models for years and they were fantastic. So I was excited to buy this updated version. But I’m really angry that the shaver head falls off numerous times during one use. I have only used it twice and the same issue arises. Very frustrating. I wish I had purchased an older model now.

Being a big fan of Philips products I decided to give this one a go. The groomer itself is good although the hair trimmer blade could be a little bit wider. Excellent battery life and very good ergonomics. The real disappointment here comes from the flimsy-built, low-quality shaving head. The metal mesh keeps detaching and popping out every 10-15 min of continuous shaving so I have to stop and put it back. Apart from that being frustrating, it may cause cuts. Shaving is okay-ish, it takes going few times over the same skin area sometimes to shave properly.

Excellent product and excellent quality service easy to use

I want to shave under my arms and between my legs for hygiene and to keep cool in hot weather. Over the years I have tried several devices and, in my opinion, Philips are the brand leader and this is their best model.
