I have used more than 30 years of Philips shaver but this electric shaver provides a better shave than a traditional razor in the bathroom.

I've never felt any discomfort even in dry mode, even after a few days without shaving.

Long battery life. Comfortable to use. No irritation.

This is the best shaver I have had. Used Philips shavers all my life and this one is easily the best one yet. It gives a very close shave with such ease. Not the cheapest but I think it's well worth the money.

Highly recommend this shaver

I bought to replace an older Philips shaver. The difference is amazing and I get a close shave even in difficult areas. Battery life is good and the display screen gives a display of battery percentage. Cleaning pod is a bonus and is simple to use.

THE SHAVER APPEARS AS ORDERED BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT REALLY HELPFUL, YOU ARE EPECTED TO SURCH ON-LINE FOR HELP, NOT EASY FOR THE OLDER GENERATION, THE BOX THAT CONTAINS YOUR SHAVER DOES NOT ACTUALY TELL YOU WHAT YOU HAVE PURCASED INSIDE THE BOX SO YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS MISSING OR WHAT IS TO BE EXPECTED.

I've had a few previous S9000 shavers which I liked (apart from the head coming off) so I bought this latest version. This triangular shaving head is much larger than previous varsions and so is hard to get into the faces nooks and cranies, it is also hard to get close under the nose and next to the ears. The shaving head is meant to be rinsed, but because the shaver blades are hinged it is very hard to shake off the excess water, you can only blow it dryish. Why have a wireless charger? The size is huge (difficult to fit onto bathroom shelves or cupboards) and charging is slower than previous corded versions. The shaver comes with a larger travel box but even this larger box does not fit the wireless charger! Although well made the stylists have overcome proper design principles for an overall very poor product.

Everything about this product is high quality. The look the feel the controls the perfect shave. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to everyone

I have had several Philips shavers and before this I had the Series 9000 S9987/59. This was ok but I decided to upgrade to the Prestige model. There doesn’t appear to be any advantage, the shaving experience is virtually the same, The price when I purchased it was excellent, but I really don’t see any advantage.

I simply chose a 5 star rating because I very much like the way it gives a great close shave compared to my previous 5000 series.Also it has a good hand grip. Only one thing that I am disappointed with is the fact that it doesn’t have a protective cover for the shaving head.

This is the ultimate example of perfection, I’ve bought many models over the years , it’s true you get what you pay for, so when this came up at a price I could afford i said last chance as I was getting fed up having to keep changing to get the best shave results.

The ease of use is so simple to use. Switch it on and the magic happens within minutes you have the smoothest shave yet. Which for me gives me that desired look I was looking for, clean and natural smooth, 5***** Well done to all at Philips best yet 👍👍👍👍👍

In my 40s now and decided it's time to ditch the wet shave. I've tried other products from other companies which rip and pull and miss a lot of stubble no matter how many times you go over it. They don't compare to this one. This is a close shave for me and with very little irritation.

Excellent shaver it is really the best one I have ever had

This is a great shaver - of that there is no doubt. The closest, most comfortable rotary shave I’ve ever had - and it deals with the pesky ingrowing hairs I suffer from with the utmost of ease. True, it’s not quite as close as a Panasonic Arc 5, but it’s so very nearly so as to be negligible. And there’s that comfort and eradication of the ingrowns I mentioned. Not cheap, sure, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Unquestionably the best battery driven razor I have ever bought. Easy to hold and use, quiet, fast and produces an excellent result! Charger can also be used to charge my iPhone.

Very close and efficient shave.

Struggles sometimeswith hairs undet chin and on the neck as most electric shavers unfortunately do.

This product has certainly lived up to its reputation. Very smooth finish after shaving and easily cleaned with running water. Hopefully the blades will last for 2 years as specified.

I have to say, you get what you pay for. I was looking for a shaver that combined a good shave (I have sensitive skin) with the capability to mange my beard. With the optional beard trimmer attachment (which much is superb), this shaver is perfect!

So I have now been using the S9000 Prestige for 6 weeks and I could not be happier. The shave is very close and as I also have a shaved head it was important to have a shaver that covered that area too.

I can tell you it does, wet shave using foam or dry shave the results are amazing and for sure my best shave ever. This is my third Philips shaver and the last one lasted 8 years before the motor started to go and the shave was not great.

I would definitely recommend this shaver to anyone thinking of buying a Philips. Yes it is pricey but if you shop around you can get a good deal and if the think it will last at least 5 years and my last one 8 years, the cost saving over very expensive wet blades is huge.

Don’t wait guys, take to plunge and go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
