I purchased a set of casual Villeroy and Boch dinnerware about 15 years ago. I found myself using the salad plates as everyday dinner plates. The smaller plates make me less likely to overeat. Unfortunately, over the years I have dropped a few on my concrete kitchen floor. My pattern from 2002 has been discontinued, but these floral plates fit in with my other floral pattern very well. All of the Villeroy and Boch plates wear very well in the dishwasher. They also bring back wonderful memories of the bicycle trail on the Saar river that passed the V&B factory in Mettlach!
