I bought the speakers about a week ago to go with the 700 soundbar and sub woofer . They are great little speakers easy to hide. Sound quality and set up very easy . The in built instructions are very clear, simples! .

The only down side is the Wi-fi connector ( on 700 speakers too) they are large and difficult to hide. It would be better if Bose built into the speaker . Speakers would be a bit bigger but you can hide the one cable a lot easier. Also why a black cable.

Do what a lot of companies do now and BOSE PLEASE make them TRANSLUCENT !!

Had these for about 2 years now and still unconvinced by sound quality Too quiet, poor top end quality. Rubbish without a sub. Bose for some reason people are convinced are a quality product. They look ok but overall a poor quality product with a quality price tag. Far better on the market. Will be getting rid of soon. Will just keep running my TDL's which are better in every way

I read review after review `about these and they really are 50:50 for and against. I saw reviews like they add nothing, they are muffled etc etc. Its taken me 3 years to finally decide to get these and complete my system and they are awesome. They add the depth of sound that is missing from 2.1 system and so glad I invested. East to setup and easy to adjust for your room and listening preferences.

Great buy in my book but you have to set them up for your taste.

The only negative and its a small one is Bose on the next edition should reduce the size of the receiver and amplifier for them.

Bought these to go with soundtouch 300. They work and are quite good. easy to set up etc. biggest issue is hiding the mains / receiver box. It's bigger than the speakers and looks ugly on a corner back shelf. Given this is a common configuration I'm surprised Bose couldn't do better, i..e design all the interface electronics into the same box as the speaker. Yes it would make these nearly invisible speakers be larger but with the current design they are hardly that when the two are placed together.

Bad sound quality , the volume level is very low as well .... One of the rear speaker just broke on the second month

Bought sound bar 700 with surround sound speaker and trust me the surround speakers are hard to setup as it has small screws ad the adapter doesn’t fit in the rear speakers and often loses the connection. I am tired checking them. Not at all happy.

The adapter to the speaker disconnects physically every now and then.

These small speakers really pack a punch. I have been using them with the Bose Soundbar 700 and the sound is phenomenal. Setup was super easy using WiFi and Bluetooth and my phone. No miles off trailing speaker cables as each speaker has its own power cable and connects wirelessly to the soundbar.

Music videos sound awesome and I really get immersed in films with the 360° sound.

If you want top notch surround sound quality, you won't be disappointed with these little gems.

I have these as an addition to my Soundbar 700 and have enjoyed their use. They are of an excellent quality and design and fit seamlessly into the home. I have not found a way to increase the volume in them though so it can often be a bit quiet, but this is not a big issue. The only other issue I have had with them was during set up, I found that the instructions were not super clear on how to set them up and also thought that given the price of them it was annoying to have to do some of the wiring yourself. Overall though this is a great addition to your sound bar and I have really enjoyed them so far! Would recommend them to people who really love to immerse themselves into the whole environment when watching TV or listening to music.

I received this a mo the ago and found that it couples up well with the Bose 700 soundbar.

When also used with shine cinema sub woofer the whole system seems to leave the cinema feeling right in your home. With crystal clear quality at low prices

These lovely little boxes are the perfect size to not be a hindrance or asthetical nightmare in your home

I've been using these speakers with the Bose Soundbar 700 for a month now and the sound is fantastic. The set up was a doddle. Unlike my previous speakers which had wires trailing everywhere, each speaker plugs into the mains and connects to the soundbar via its own Wi-Fi. Place the speakers where you want them and then go through the set up using your phone and the gizmo that comes with the speakers. It allows you to choose 5 favourite positions around the room for optimum surround sound.

I've listened to music videos and watched films, and the great thing about this surround system is that because of the set up, you don't notice that it's surround sound, it just seems like natural should so you really immerse yourself in what you are watching. With my old system, I would hear sound from the nearest speaker over the others which was really annoying.

Each speaker has a left/right button so you can't get the set up wrong.

These are pricy, but if you are looking for quality surround sound, you can't do better than these speakers.

Great little speakers, I have these linked to my Soundtouch 300 soundbar along with a bass module and am very pleased with the overall package.

These speakers are nice and neat in themselves but they do come along with 2 boxes that need to be plugged in and wired to the speakers so they are not quite as compact and wireless as you are lead to believe, you do however get a cool little Bose screwdriver to help you do this in the box. once wired up they did connect wirelessly to the soundbar without a problem.

The sound from these is great and they do complete the home cinema experience, as with all Bose products the sound that comes out of these is far bigger than you would expect from such a small package. They cope with movies and music equally as well which means I often group the soundbar in with other devices in a soundtouch group when listening to music during the day

RThese two Bose Surround speakers connected seamlessly to my Bose Soundbar. Using wireless connectivity, they were up and running in no time at all. Less than six inches high,these two Bose speakers created an immersive soundtrack for every movie I watched. Voices came from behind me, bullets flew from left to right, planes flew away in to the distance, bullets ricocheted around the room and explosions were truly stunning. The deep base notes coupled with clear and audible voices gave every film a new dimension and turned them in to a cinematic experience. Even the sound on normal television programmes seemed clearer and more defined. When music was played through the speakers, it was crisp and clear, but not drowned out and overpowered by bass notes.

Although not cheap, I think you get what you pay for and these units have certainly had some favourable comments made about them from visitors at my house. I think some may even have become Bose converts.

The sound reproduction is really impressive for such small speakers. During movies and sports, they added a fun, new dimension to the audio experience. For some programs, I noticed some irregular use of the rear channels. Voice tracks during a few programs would be present in the surrounds on and off during the same dialog scenes. This is not Bose's fault, nor was it actually all that distracting. It was just something I noticed. The Bose Music app allows you to adjust the volume of the rear channels so you can achieve your best surround experience. Or you can simply turn them off in the app.

I received these about a Month ago with the Bose soundbar 700 and tried setting them up but cant get the sound out. The Speaker show connected to the soundbar on the control box and Bose Music App but no sound.

I’ve had these for around 2 weeks and set them up in conjunction with the Bose 700 sound bar. I placed one at the end of the sofa my husband uses (tucked between the arm and the wall - the speaker, not my husband). The second was placed on a bookshelf behind our other sofa which I use. We have various tv streaming devices and games consoles so the reasoning behind getting these was to enhance the tv/game playing experience.

Packaging: packaged securely and with minimal extra and unnecessary packaging

Set-up: I stared in surprise at the wires in the packet. I’m no electrician and the thought of touching loose wires petrified me, I had visions of electrocution or at least damaging the speakers! BUT not to worry. They literally poke into the back of the speaker and are held in place with a simple screw (for which the screw driver is provided). Simple enough even for me! After that it was plain sailing. Some difficulties getting the sound bar set up meant that the speakers wouldn’t work at first but once I removed and re-added then using the Bose app, they came to life.

Conclusion: The output is most noticeable with music. Our sound bar is connected to our amazon echo so these speakers complete the listening experience (or home disco if the children have anything to do with it). The sound when watching tv is subtle in my view. It’s not such that it makes you turn around and wonder where it’s coming from. It’s just there consistently from all angles now and with 2 noisy kids in the house, we can actually turn the subtitles off because we are able to catch most of our tv programmes above the noise.

Bose have thought about everything when building and designing these speakers. Each speaker have there own module and plug, they can be plugged in near to where they will be used, meaning no unsightly wires running round the room. They are of a small sleek design which can be placed on a stand, wall mounted or surface placed. They might be small but this doesn’t sway from the sound quality, the sound quality is just amazing and coupled with the soundbar 700 makes every day a cinema experience in our house. I would highly recommend these speakers

I have had these speakers for around a month now, and I’m very impressed. They practically turned my living room into a surround sound cinema experience! The speakers are small enough to blend into any area, but they feel sturdy and well made. The sound is everything you would expect from Bose, crisp and clear. If you want to feel fully immersed then I would definitely recommend these.

Bose, they are stylish, well built and have great sound quality. They were quite easy to set up and pair with the soundbar and subwoofer and they make a great difference to the overall sound experience! The only thing I would like to do with more ease, is play with the settings of the different speakers, as sometimes I would like to have more bass, or get these to be a bit louder. Other than that, highly recommended!

I received the speakers to review and was excited to get them set up as I’m a big Bose fan, I found them to be the usual excellent quality that is normally expected of Bose though wasn’t overly impressed with the transformers and the huge length of wiring, I found the setting up to be fairly simple and eagerly sat back to enjoy the first movie, it was at this point I began to be disappointed, I don’t know if my living room is too small to fully experience the surround sound but I really preferred the sound quality when it was only the sound bar, which is a superb piece of equipment. Like I said I’m a big fan of Bose but these speakers didn’t do it for me.

I have both sound bar and sub-woofer. These speakers just improved the experience! top quality sound and really easy to pair with the sound bar and sub-woofer. Also Bose app adjusts the sound to obtain exact combination...but it gives you also the option to optimise it to your liking. It just makes it incredible to watch movies at home. Love it!

I bought these to expand the already great sound from my ST300 Soundbar - and have been impressed by what a difference they make.

Once installed and set-up (a really very simple process when you follow the instructions) if you put your ear to them, the actual noise coming from them is quite subtle. Yet, when sitting in your chair, the soundscape is massively spread out, with anything that moves across the screen (like a car coming into view across a driveway) literally making you jump out of your seat!

I quickly found that for my large room I wanted a little more volume from these speakers relative to the soundbar itself - and the iOS SoundTouch app that controls them makes that process incredibly simple (although finding the right place to change the volume levels could be easier!)

I was surprised at how large the power-block / BlueTooth receiver is for each speaker (about the size of a couple of blocks of butter) but the long cables supplied mean that it easy to place the tiny speakers exactly where you want regardless.

I have been pleasantly impressed, but only really realised how much they enhanced the overall sound when I disconnected them again - when it all sounded much "flatter”.

Overall - I wouldn’t go back to life without them!

Soundtouch 300 and surround speakers review.

I chose the Bose Soundtouch 300 and surround sound speakers because I have used bose speakers before and the sound quality is really good.

I was expecting it to be a clean, clear and crisp sound and was NOT disappointed in the slightest.

It gives an excellent surround sound feeling for a Soundbar and even better when used with the surround speakers. (Makes watching films cinema sound and quality.) There is no distortion or rattles like some of the lower priced ones, even with the volume cranked up loud.

I use it for listening to Spotify music through my phone using the Bluetooth connection and is easily loud enough to fill any room in the house and very capable of being able to help you host the perfect house party.

Using it on my TV to watch films it gives a very clear sound which enables you to hear sounds and background music that you didn't know existed by just using the tv's built in speakers.

The design and build quality of them are as you would expect from any bose products, both flawless and elegant unless you have OCD  and kids that have can't help but to touch things. (Like the very modern looking Glass top which has the famous BOSE logo in the centre). It has a wrap around grill to cover the speakers.

I have not used it through the hdmi cable yet but just the optical audio connection which was just plug and play.

The instruction booklet that comes with it is fairly thick with a lot of pages in it but only has 5 pages with 8 pictures and a short description under each for every language you can think of. (This is more than enough to get you in musical heaven). The hardest thing to do is set the listening parameters up. (This would be a doddle if you haven't got noisy kids keep coming in asking "what's those noises that keep playing?")

In the box is all the leads that you need including optical audio, power cables (UK and European) and a hdmi.

The surround speakers are as easily set up with the instructions given in the box. (You have to set up te listening parameters up again once connected to the soundbar) this is easy.

The only downside to this is if you like watching films where you need a room rattling bass you will have to buy the additional subwoofer. The bass is in my opinion is just right. (Any deeper and your neighbours will fall out with you very quickly).

I would recommend the Bose Soundtouch 300 and surround speakers to anyone that is after a high end Soundbar and surround speakers.

Having paired these speakers with the soundbar, they were very simple to setup and calibrate, the little Bose screwdriver is cool! They sound great and add an extra dimension to movies. The speakers need to be positioned well to get the best surround sound effect.

Will definitely need the soundtouch app to adjust volumes as factory setting was too quiet. Once tweaked can get it just right and they compliment the soundbar.

Music also sounds good having sound come from all directions.

Speakers look really smart and compact the only issue is trying to hide the chunky cable and make them invisible.

Definitely worth adding on to the soundbar for a full surround sound setup.
