I have purchased Remington for the last 20 years.This was bought as a requested gift, so unfortunately cannot be returned. First the good point .”it collects the loose hairs”. That’s it !! It’s very heavy, the cutting size markers are far to small and fiddly , need to put glasses on to see the markers you need to change the cutter to get close to your nose without a guard again glasses to make sure you don’t cut or miss. Worst gift ever requested looking for a quality replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is super efficient and really easy to use. At first, it might seem a bit big, but you get used to it quickly. I used to let my beard grow out a bit and then spend forever shaving it off with a razor, which also made a huge mess.

With the Remington, I can trim my beard really close to the skin in just a few minutes, and it catches most of the hair in its vacuum compartment. Only a tiny bit ends up in the sink. Cleaning it is a breeze—just pop off the compartment and rinse it under water.

Plus, the precise trimmer is great for getting clean lines.

Overall, it's definitely worth the money

I noticed the lower settings don’t lock into place either so you have to be careful. Noise wise there is no issue but I wouldn’t buy one of these based on how effective it is. For some people it may be fine though.

The vacuum function will suck around 90% of the hairs that would normally fall which is the main USP of this. My only grievance is that it’s super loud and the trimmers themselves aren’t as sharp as I hoped.

What this trimmer has over others I've used is the vacuum feature. I thought it might just have been a lazy gimmick but it really is a game changer! Comes with plenty of attachments to keep my beard trim and sharp, with the added bonus of zero mess as the built in vacuum is a class idea! Been using a couple of weeks now and the battery life is great, plenty of grade settings going from sharp and close precision or simply trimming the ends. I cut my beard on a number two and it’s so accurate without being patchy like my previous shaver as the cover guard is fantastic. Not the quietest using the vacuum but still not exactly noisy so doesn’t bother me at all. Comes with a nice bag to keep it all in, overall a great little bit of kit.

One huge benefit over most razors is that this has a wall charger as opposed to the typical 12v plug you get with other products.

The only reason for a downvote is that the head is quite chunky, so it can be quite difficult to get close to the skin if you're after relatively close shave.

This caught about 70% of my beard when shaving so I only got moaned at about 30%..Battery life is good I haven't had to charge it yet. The bulkiness of it does make getting a perfection trim difficult.

The product itself is such a great design; it looks very modern and the vacuum feature is a ‘game-changer’. The product is slightly larger than the average razor, hence the 4, but once you get a hang of the grip and best angle, the shaving experience is smooth, flawless and leaves a fine, clean shave! Overall, my family were incredibly happy with the end result as there was absolutely no hair in the sink - the vacuum feature was superb and once finished, I popped the shavings into the bin! The product comes with a neat bag and the accessories are really easy to change! What a great product!

However I find it very difficult to actually trim hair, the collecting tank gets in the way of the blade so it’s awkward to get a decent shave. The battery lasts a long time but I think being able to adjust the height of the blade so you can more easily access it would be beneficial. It’s not a shaver I would replace my other one with unfortunately.

I do think the precision is hard to get with this as it’s fairly bulky frame so around the jaw line . But overall fairly good just don’t get a clean trim on the jaw line.
