My printer invariably claims there is a paper jam when there isn't one. I go through all the steps to remove the phantom paper jam several times after which it might condescend to print a page or two. I am convinced there is a fault with the printer as it is not overused and genuine [grotesquely expensive] Canon inks are used. I am irritated beyond belief with this Canon printer and really surprised by its temperamental performance. I had another Canon printer before this which gave no bother at all. I could not in all conscience recommend this particular Canon product to a friend or colleague

I bought this printer in April and at first worked very well, however when printing paper jams. I only use it about twice a week as I do not work, so it is not overworked.

I bought this as previous one became faulty after many years service. I was after quality printing, scanning & also the feature for printing on DVD/CD discs. It was delivered very rapidly & on setting up, I was very pleased how compact it was for the

I have a home office, and this is an excellent printer for me and my iMac.

I bought it in red, and it looks good too.

Now I have worked out the different paper feeders, I am very pleased with this printer as it means I can have envelopes in he back feeder and paper in the bottom cassette. This my old printer did not do. Print is good quality and clear. It's quiet. It's small and does not take up too much room. My only disappointment is that the the front panel and paper cassette do not appear to pull out and fold up automatically (unless I am missing something?). This would be an improvement.

Faulty within weeks. Contacted service desk who sorted it but it is now faulty again. Paper jams. Had similar issue with previous Canon printer

A brilliant home printer which is simple to use and produces great documents & images.

Like that I can leave it switched off but still print remotely.

Bought this in Nov, and to date all working well. Easy assembly and to get started.

Need to fine tune printer settings to get various features like double side printing but works. Scanner also good, already used. Only disadvantage is the cost of replacement ink compared to better quality MG6350 that we had before; replaced due to ink overflow being full and cost over £65 to do simple replacement cartridge.

I bought this to replace a canon printer that would no longer work with iMac Catalina.

I phoned Canon and they were really helpful. I also did a lot of research on the reviews.

It really is easy to use. The software and drivers are easy to download and instal. The printing and scanning results are great. Overall I am really pleased I bought it.

I have always bought Canon for many many years

Set up was straight forward and fast, everything running smoothly at present. Pleased I chose white printer, very cool.

East to set up. Quality of printed output good. Printer feels a little flimsy in parts though.

Biggest issue is the Ink costs

Why is it cheaper to buy from a non-Canon source - exactly the same inks?

Only used it for document printing so far but it is far quicker to operate than the MP640 ever was. Also the touch screen is easy to use and gives helpful messages.

This printer was purchased because my Pixma 5250 gave up the ghost & would not print despite all of the functions working

Printer is far more complicated with many more mechanical moving parts, flimsy to touch and maybe far more sophisticated but appears vulnerable to an early mechanical demise

A set of Printer cartridges are more expensive than the whole printer that it replaced

I previously had a Pixma MG7550 (Bought 2016) and frankly this performed better than the new TS8250. I changed because the old one developed a fault but am now disappointed that Canon has gone backwards. The new model is slower, doesn't have a separate print tray for photographic paper (only a paper feed at the back), feels less solid, and the printing inks seem to be more expensive!

Had this for a couple of weeks now. Arrived very quickly. Easy to use and set up. Photos are quality. Not used it for scanning or copying yet. Great for home use.
