At first I was skeptical about this because I hear some conflicting opinions about the brand itself, but I have to say that I'm really satisfied with this headset.

Now, bear in mind, you will have to play around in the headset's dedicated software to get the full sound experience. Once you adjust everything and turn their Sonar feature on (and choose the right preset for you), the sound really does come alive.

The bases are full but not overwhelming, the spatial features are good, the surround is consistent and clear without muddying the quality.

You can hear enemy footsteps in FPS games from afar, and the sound is very immersive in story-driven games.

Just make sure to go on YouTube and search for the settings for these headphones and you'll find some quick tutorials to set the best sound.

Most importantly for me, this is the most comfortable headset I ever owned - there is no pressure on my ears or the top of my head even after many hours of gaming.

So, if you're getting these for gaming, then I definitely recommend them.

NOTE: the only reason I'm not giving them five stars for everything is because I'm worried about the build quality and how long the plastic is going to last, and because you have to tamper with the settings for a while before you get the sound just right.
