Purchased recently and still getting used to. It has no eye-piece view finder and is difficult to use as I have poor eyesight. Also wish it had a users manual - online version is very hard to read and to long to print. Could we have an option to buy a hard copy please?

I bought this camera and was so exited, but from start it did not work at all. It was completely broken inside or something. Green stripes all over the screen and stuff. I had to return.

Kamera on hyvän kokoinen ja mahtuu helposti laukkuun tai takin taskuun eikä paina liikaa, joka on juuri hyvä varsinkin jos tykkää käydä paljon konserteissa tai vastaavissa. Flipattava näyttö ja hyvä salama ovat loistavat varsinkin, kun ottaa kuvia kavereiden kanssa! Kuvien hyvä laatu yllätti minut :)

Yksi ominaisuus, mitä etsin kamerassa oli kuvien jakaminen bluetoothilla tai wifillä, joka tästä kamerasta löytyy, mutta jonka kanssa minulla on ollut pieniä vaikeuksia (kuvien jakaminen on kuitenkin onnistunut).

Everywhere I looked it was out of stock. After several weeks to find someone selling this camera at the appropriate price rather than inflated for refurb from Japan, Canon had them back in stock. Without hesitation I purchased and have been amazed at the quality and the features. A very happy customer!!

I have mirrorless system with several lenses and it gives me great results. However, it doesn't fit in my pocket. (Not a Cannon, sorry.)

I studied the available compacts and decided that this Cannon was the one for me and I have been very satisfied with its performance.

The long zoom lens is great for getting close to various wildlife I see when dog walking and the macro is superb for getting up close and personal with bugs, flies and flowers.

I have the Cannon app on my iPad and downloading photos by wifi is the easiest I have encountered.

The controls are a bit fiddly, but then, it is a compact camera.

Easy to use wonderful photos intuitive

I bought this camera around a month ago for travelling around Thailand. Its one if the best purchases I've made from it being so compact and easy to set up. The camera is small so it's a perfect on the go digital camera. The quality is amazing and it's made super easy to transfer pictures onto your mobile device thanks to the Bluetooth feature. Overall I'm super happy with my new camera and can't recommend it enough.

Used for the 1st time at the Midlands Air Festival, got some really great pictures of the Red Arrows using the motion setting.

Bought the little Sx740 as on paper it sounded good, nice zoom range and I already have owned 8 Canon cameras. How wrong I was. The zoom range is pretty much useless. Just like the quality when you zoom on your phone, I would say half the zoom range looked like it was digital rather than optical. Very disappointed

I bough this for popping in my rucksack when I go cycling, or occasionally to use for street photography. It has a chunky, comfortingly heavy feel to it, but can be slipped in a jacket pocket. Quality of images at the lower focal range are very good, and more than acceptable at the extreme ends. It's perfectly usable for landscape, nearby wildlife, travel, street photography, portraits and pets. I have other Canon cameras, but this one is useful to pick up casually and drop in a pocket, particularly if I don't really know what type of photography I'll plump for on the day. A splendid all-rounder, I would recommend it for general, casual photography.

Canon meni poistamaan Luovan otoksen, jossa kamera otti automaattisesti kuusi erilaista kuvaa yhdellä napin painalluksella. Tyhmin ja huonoin päätös ikinä. Nyt tilalla joku "ruoka kuva", joka ominaisuus hoitui jo ennenkin korostetut värit toiminnolla.

Päivitin kameran 720hs -> 740hs malliin, ja nyt 740hs malli on täysin käyttämätön tuon ominaisuuden poiston vuoksi.

I bought this a month ago as an upgrade to the 720 and think it is an amazing camera with a fantastic zoom . I love taking photos of garden birds and the detail is fantastic

easy to carry, easy to use, easy to maneuver, pictures are great both day and night, battery lasts a long time, easy to transfer to other devices, photos are faithful to the original
