From the packaging to what really inside, the speaker has impressed me big time. The sound quality is amazing. It connects with my TV, mobile and my projector. I have used it on a camping site. It’s just amazing sound quality. Even the kids starts dancing when they listen the buzzing sound. Three of my friends already bought after I played music from this speaker in the party. It’s portable. It’s easy to carry and could be charged. Amazing value for money bossman speaker.

I have always been a fan of Bose, however have never had a speaker with such presence! This speaker is deafeningly loud yet compact and portable enough to go in the car to take camping or to the beach. It has Bluetooth connectivity so you can always connect it to other devices such as a TV to give an extra punch! Along with line inputs with adjustable controls (also adjustable via the Bose music app) The sound is not lost outside either, having used this in the garden several times now, the audio clarity is breathtaking and remarkable. Battery life is very good - something I was apprehensive about to begin with as there was mention of buying a battery - however I have since realised that this just increases a very good battery life into an exceptional battery life. Something realistically I won’t need as the onboard battery will be plenty good enough for my use. I am very impressed with this speaker which now follows me around everywhere

This came at the perfect time for us. My daughter, who is a young aspiring artist studying music with dreams of becoming a singer/songwriter, loves performing. I had been searching for a portable PA system and had already considered Bose. I'm glad I stuck with my decision as It's truly fantastic. The build quality is solid, giving it a premium feel. It's lightweight and loaded with some cool features. This versatile speaker works equally well indoors and outdoors. You can adjust its angles to enhance the sound, and the OLED displays for controls are cleverly designed to match the speaker's orientation. Adjusting volume, EQ, and reverb on the mic and line inputs is a breeze. The Bose music app adds another layer of control, especially if you're using it as a Bluetooth speaker. Plus, the option to use wireless transmitters, even though they're sold separately, is a big advantage. But what truly shines is the sound quality. It's impressive, delivering clear audio with solid bass. Whether you're playing acoustic tunes or something heavier, it handles it all beautifully with plenty of kick and thump. The battery life is equally commendable, and you can keep it plugged in for continuous use. Overall, this is an attractive and high-performing PA system with exceptional sound quality. It's a perfect fit for my daughter's budding music career.

Being a DJ, I was interested to see how this speaker performed. I’ve always been a fan of Bose products so I was excited to try it out. The first thing I noticed was how loud it was. I have another speaker which is twice the size of this one and it’s nowhere near as loud. During testing, I haven’t even been able to get it past half volume, so I can definitely see this filling a large room. Secondly, I was a bit sceptical about the bass due to the size of the speaker, but I was genuinely blown away by it. As other people have mentioned, it’s the type of bass that you can actually feel. The built-in EQ is also excellent and allows you to lower the bass if it’s too much for you. I personally find this especially useful as a lot of other speakers I have had in the past haven’t had this feature and were typically too heavy on the high or low frequencies. Another great thing about this speaker is the battery life. I’ve been using it for a couple hours a day and haven’t had to charge it since I got it so I can definitely recommend it for that. Finally, I love how portable it is. It’s very easy to carry and I can definitely see myself taking this out and about with me. The build quality is also great so I can see it lasting a long time. The only criticism I have is the price. Although it is a great speaker, I don’t think I would pay full price for this product. I am aware that it is a premium product and therefore comes at a premium price, however, I believe there may be better options on the market for cheaper. Overall, I recommend the speaker, however, there may be better options for the price.

This speaker is an amazing sound machine. I am blown away by how good it is. The clarity of highs, the warmth of mids, and the depth of lows make my listening sessions so amazing. I use it at home almost 3-4 times a day and even used it to play music at my niece's birthday party. The compliments I received and the amount of people asking me for the details of the speaker were insane. It was such a positive experience. My sister ended up getting one for herself as she was impressed with the build and sound quality. The speaker is super portable and the handle helps carry it with a good grip. I never liked lugging my speaker everywhere. The battery lasts a long time and I used it on almost full volume for approx 3 hours non-stop. It was so much fun and perfect for my backyard dance BBQ. Connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth and controlling it through the Bose app is so convenient. The music app helps in adjusting the sound settings and I don't have to go to the speaker to change the balance of certain songs. There are dials on the speaker to change the volume, treble, and bass and everyone's fascinated with the OLED displays changing as well. Overall, I love it for its superior design, good portability, and ensures I don't break my back. Impressive controls using the Bose Music app and the fact that I get loads of attention because of it.

This speaker looks deceptive. It's no bigger than a case of beers my my gosh, is it powerful. I like the portability and ease of use that this speaker has. Straight out of the box, connect by Bluetooth, and you're away. Too quiet? Simple tweak of the scroll wheel and you'll find the ideal level. I also like the ability to control the speaker from your app. I mowed the lawn the other night and cranked up the volume to drown out the mower. Even at high levels of volume, the clarity is excellent. No muffled sounds through a barrage of bass. But if that's what you like, you can crank the bass to feel the reverb through your bones! I really love and would recommend this speaker. Especially if you're after a device to connect your guitar or other instruments. I would like to see the ability to connect easily to other bose devices, but it's not too much of an issue, just turn up the volume on this one!

The Bose S1 Pro Portable Bluetooth Speaker System

The speaker is compact yet powerful. It’s stylish and although has some weight it is portable. The sound is excellent and it’s that good I have it connected to my TV so everyday this is used as the auto EQ give the best sound regardless of what I’m watching. I have brought out the speaker at the most recent BBQ and it’s fair to say many people were asking about it due to the sound quality and portability. The battery life is excellent and even though I’ve had it on for hours at a time it’s never ran out prior to me heading in anyway. The LCD is a nice touch and makes the operation of it very simple and easy to use. The only thing I would have liked it to have would be Wi-Fi capability so that a device or accessory would not have to be connected to use it. This one unit will transfer the way you interact with music and sure packs a punch when you want to experience whatever it is you’re listening to. Overall I am super impressed with the speaker and look forward to many more occasions where it will be used.

During my teens in the 90s, Bose had been one of the very few names in premium quality sound. I wanted them so bad, but wasn't able to afford one. As I grew up, other brands started coming to the market - these were premium brands with reasonable price and a decent sound quality. And then I forgot about Bose. Until I had a chance to try this little puppy. And this is a puppy that ROARS. Absolutely great sound quality without a shadow of doubt. It can fill up every corner of the room or a large room with beautiful clear sound. It can easily be a party speaker or one you can use for karaoke, or as an artist take it around to a london underground station, plug in your guitar and make music, and you are sure to make a reasonable living. As others mention, its bass can blow you away - and in my case, it literally did. The cat was close to the speaker and when the bass went up, its fur was rhythemically blowing like it was sitting in a musical wind. Highly portable, the battery lasts hours - you can easily get 6+ hrs using bluetooth. My guess is using a wired input the battery will last somewhat longer. Overall, these definitely live up to Bose's name as one of the best premium quality speakers in the market.

Setting up the Bose S1 Pro Portable Bluetooth Speaker System was very easy. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight the speaker is which makes it so portable and easy to carry around at events. It’s claim of 11 hours playtime hasn’t been fully tested to maximum yet as usually most would be about 5 hours but battery still showing more than half at that. It delivers an impressive audio experience. I have used it both outdoors and at small indoor event. One of the strongest features for me, is the versatility. The multiple input options are a real game changer as I haven’t found another speaker that offers all of them. it has various input sources, including Bluetooth streaming, two combo XLR/TRS inputs, and a 3.5mm AUX input. It also features a built-in three-channel mixer. Its price point might put a few people off as it is at the high end of the market but the combination of sound quality, portability, and durability makes it a good investment if you are looking for quality on the go.

I waited to write this review as i wanted to test it in a few environments. Initially i used it in the home and it sounded great on low volumes, anything louder made it feel like a nightclub in your home - which could be a great use when having parties. I most recently used it at a summer picnic where it was left in the middle and allowed music to be played wirelessly from my phone. The great thing i loved was how light and portable it was for a great sounding speaker. A friend of mine has one of these too and his doesnt have a battery but im so glad the "plus" model comes with one as it makes mine more usable. A great added feature is the ability to pair this speaker with another so you can have multiple units playing the same song at the same time. It is pretty pricey for a speaker but it is Bose and comes with quality.

I sing & play the guitar. I have an ambition to go busking in the future. I’ve done some charity concerts in a small hall using a Bose T1 Tonematch & a Bose L1 Compact. They are really great bits of kit, but are quite heavy to carry around & set up, & have to be connected to mains power, so no good for busking. When I saw the Bose S1Pro, I thought that this was exactly what I needed, for practice, small venues, & in due course for busking. I’ve started practicing with the S1Pro. I used to practice without an amp, but the S1 gives a much more realistic sound as it uses Tonematch to match my Shure SM58 microphone & Martin guitar. I am used to the Tonematch feature as it is part of my original T1/L1Compact, but is so much easier to use on the S1Pro. The bluetooth feature to connect my iPhone to the T1 is very useful. I will be using it to play backing tracks whilst I play lead guitar & sing. I want to use the iPhone to do live looping through the S1Pro. I also like that I can attach a second sound source through the wired connection. I also use the Bluetooth link to play music through the S1Pro. It gives a lovely sound. The volume of the S1Pro is impressive for a unit so small. If I need a larger sound, I can use my L1Compact. However, if I need even more sound, I can daisychain the L1Compact & the S1Pro.

Great equipment to while away the time when you spend it in the yard with friends or family. I am impressed with the sound quality and battery life. Although sometimes I have the impression that the speaker is too small for its sound capabilities. The speaker gets the power. A huge plus is the size and the mobility of the speaker that I can take it wherever I want. The speaker is easy to use, connects to the phone without any problem. Now I am waiting for some Dj tracker and soon I will plan indoor and outdoor events with Bose S1 Pro. Highly recommended to others.

This is a really powerful speaker, it looks really good and has been made expertly. The sound quality is amazing crystal clear the additional settings allow you to adjust the base and treble to your liking. The tilt at the back is a really nice touch especially when your entertaining. Once I connected my phone which was easy to do and selected my favourite playlist the minute I pressed play the party got started, sound was just as good outside as it was inside. Definitely a great purchase it also looks great wherever it's placed. Well worth the money

At first you might think this is another "bluetooth speaker", and it can be, but it's actually a piece of professional music equipment and it sounds like it. It actually is a busker's dream. You can plug (also wirelessly) a mic with reverb and EQ, together with an instrument plus your phone or computer all at once. It can definitely fill a square with sound so your room or garden BBQ won't be a problem. Actually at home I couldn't see how loud it goes as I couldn't take the pressure it creates in a closed room. I assure you it gets really loud. But not just that, the quality of sound is impressive - even in professional standard. The bass, the middles and the highs have separate driver and you can hear them separately. Every instrument and voice sounds like you are there. I love at the end of a day just to listen to some nice music on it in a room with dimmed lights. It might be mono but it sounds so good - I don't mind it. You can listen to all your favourite songs and re-discover them in a new way. In case you are a musician you can start with the one and later add a second plus subwoofers and so on. You can keep adding speakers and connect them together to do gigs in bigger and bigger venues. Battery will easily last a full day. It's not exactly light but definitely portable. Full of capabilities, quality sound, multi positions - greatest speaker I've seen. Great professional product brought to the non-professionals.

Just got this as an upgrade to my S1 Pro. I was initially hesitant about the all digital controls, but this is so much more easier, convenient and useful! Love the new form factor, shape and lighter yet louder dynamic range and loudness! It has already been to a few outdoor gigs with me and hasnt disappointed me in terms of quality, loudness or battery life!

I needed a more powerful, rechargeable, Bluetooth speaker. I’ve used Bose and B&W type before, usually around £200-£250.

The cost of the S1 is a little off putting to begin with, but once you buy one you forget all that because it’s worth every penny.

Bought this a while back to replace an AER Compact 60., having heard one a friend had. Now that the problem with battery draining has been sorted by Bose, you simply cannot fault this kit. It is not as powerful as the AER, so you need to wind things up a bit, but there is absolutely no loss of quality as you do so. I've used it in/outdoors as a PA, with vocal + acoustic guitar and also entertaining our street with lockdown music on, streaming via Bluetooth from Spotify. Simply superb! Highly recommended!

I bought this just under a month ago and it’s growing on me big time. The sound is big and it does not struggle on max, my only concern is battery life. Not sure it can perform for 11 hours without recharging and also not sure I should just leave it plugged in without destroying the battery. I need to know, my old sound dock 10 heavier does not use batteries and I generally like it that way. I worry a lot and leaving it connected makes me worried I will spoil the battery.

Received thru home delivery 2 days ago and can't stop using it...it is really a fantastic speaker.

I Dj and have active speakers but have added this to my range and can leave home without it! the only thing that makes me mark down by 1 star is that the battery lasts for about 4 hours rather than the advertised 11...not sure if something is wrong with mine specifically but other than that love it!

I bought this as on the paper was the perfect busking amp but returned it after a good test. Is a decent little speaker but to my ears the sound is just not good enough. Papery and metallic top end, middle range lacking body and weight, bass with no impact whatsoever. Comparing with others it lacked volume, power, body and the sound was flat and shrill. Sorry but for me this amp is way overpriced and overhyped.

Bought for small audience/presentations. Tested at home first before rolling out on the bigger stage. Used a U2 Slane Castle concert DVD plugged into TV via AUX. The sound blew the roof off. I have BOSE mini speakers and headphones. This is a different class. I think I'm becoming a BOSE addict and may need help in the near future!! I couldn't be more positive about this product if I tried. How about ten stars**********
