Höyrystin ollut reilut 6kk käytössä:

Teho on juuri sitä tasoa, mitä teknisissä tiedoissakin kerrotaan ja ollut mukavan nopea ja helppo käyttää vaatteiden arkiseen suoristamiseen.

Lievästi ryppyinen puvun paitakin suoristui, mistä vähän yllätyin.

Höyrystin ei pysty taklaamaan todella ryppyistä, esim. muuttolaatikossa pitkään kurtistunutta vaatetta, joten tämmöisille tarvitsee näyttää perinteistä rautaa.

Miinuksena se, että vesi loppuu aika nopeasti, mutta tankki on helppo irroittaa ja täyttää.

Vesi riittää minulla 2-3 puseroon.

Silkkipuserot menevät vauhdilla, joten niitä saa varmasti neljäkin yhdelllä tankilla.

Aika isohko otettavaksi mukaan käsimatkatavaroihin, vie n. kenkäparin verran tilaa.

Voi osta halvemppi, tekee ihan sama töitä. ei täydellinen höyrytys:(

Loistava tuote, ainoa miinus pieni vesisäiliö joka kaipaa usein täyttöä.

Sanottakoot alkuun, että sain tuotteen lahjaksi, enkä itse varsinaisesti missään vaiheessa kokenut tarvetta sille. Se voi vähän vaikuttaa arvosteluun. Olen kuitenkin kokeillut laitetta mielenkiinnolla. En osaa sanoa, onko vika käyttäjässä vaiko laitteessa, kun kokemukseni on, että silitysraudalle tämä ei pärjää niin mitenkään ja höyryttämisestä saa lähinnä pahan mielen. Olen käyttänyt laitetta lähinnä erilaisiin ohuisiin tekokuituisiin (sifonki, viskoosi...) naisten puseroihin ja mekkoihin. En osaa sanoa sen toimivuudesta esim. miesten kauluspaitoihin. Pari minuuttia tämän laitteen kanssa mekon kimpussa, enkä huomannut yhtään mitään eroa. Silitysraudalla ja -laudalla mekko olisi jo sileä kauttaaltaan. Laitteen tehokas höyryntuotto vaatii kokemukseni mukaan sitä, että laitteen höyrypää lasketaan vähintään kymmenen sekunnin välein lattiaa kohti. Tämä liike hidastaa ja rasittaa rannetta. Vesisäiliö on kehno ja vuotaa herkästi. Yllätyin nähdessäni täältä tuotteen hinnan, olisin odottanut laitteen maksaneen korkeintaan puolet tuosta.

Laitetta kehutaan helposti mukana kuljetettavaksi. Kaikki on tietysti suhteellista, mutta itse pelkillä käsimatkatavaroilla reissaavana en näe sellaista tilannetta, jossa lähtisin tällä laukkua täyttämään. Vehje on kuitenkin monta kymmentä senttiä pitkä eikä ihan kevyinkään.

Tiivistettynä sanoisin, että jos et jostain syystä voi mitenkään käyttää silitysrautaa ja -lautaa, on tämä luultavasti tyhjää parempi hankinta. Villakangastakkien ym. pinnan freesaamisessa voi myös olla hyvä tuote. Omassa käytössäni ei mene jatkoon.

Siinähän se. Ei hämmentävän hyvä, mutta ajaa asiansa nyt kun tuli hankittua.

Meillä hajosi tästä aiempi malli usean aktiivisen käyttövuoden jälkeen, joten ostimme mielellämme uudemman mallin samasta tuotteesta. Yhtä hyviä samantasoisia kilpailevia tuotteita ei tunnu olevan. Tällä suoristuu hyvin vaatteet ja verhot. Hyvä reissulle mukaan.

Ainut miinus isohko koko, erityisesti reissuille mukaan otettaessa.

Helppo käyttää ja vaatteet sain nopeasti aamulla sileäksi.

Ok tuote, vesisäiliö riittää kahteen paitaan tai yhteen hameeseen. Vesisäiliön mekanismi ei ole suomalaisen insinöörin suunnittelema. Kuumenee nopeasti eikä tarraa.

En ostaisi koska hinta on liian korkea. Vaikka ostinkin.

Mukana tulee hyvä palomieshanska jota vasten silittäminen onnistuu nopeasti. Vedän tällä työvaatteiden etumukset ja hihat sileiksi viidessä minuutissa.

Ei korvaa täysin silitysrautaa, mutta suurimman osan silitysraudan tarpeesta kyllä. Jonkin verran nopeampi ja huomattavasti helpompi käyttää kuin silitysrauta. Siisteimpiä tilanteita varten juhlapaidat pitää edelleen silittää, mutta pääosin höyryttämällä pärjää riittävän hyvin.

I have many traditional Asian suits and sarees that are a nightmare to iron but the hand held garment steamer saves me not only time but money on the dry cleaning bills.

I’ve used on my curtains and they have come up great, all the pain of taking them down, washing and getting the on the ironing board - not anymore, saved me loads of time and hassle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This garment steamer is very useful for quickly removing creases from difficult to iron garments and refreshing already ironed items that have crumpled in the wardrobe.

I was quite surprised by its effectiveness. I tried it on a badly creased unironed pair of twill trousers to see just how effective it is at removing creases. The right trouser leg in the photo, which has been treated with the garment steamer, looks almost fully ironed compared to the untreated left trouser leg.

The steamer is easy to fill with water, doesn't take long to heat up and is comfortable to hold and operate. The water tank gets used up pretty quickly but is enough to fully treat one item of clothing. When I used it vertically, the steamer was quite prone to spitting and left wet marks on clothes but these dried quickly and left no stains.

I find it particularly useful for blazers and coats that are difficult or impossible to iron, as well as delicate silk tops that could easily get scorched by an iron. The steam also kills bacteria, so it's excellent for sanitising coats and work suits in between dry-cleans. I have also tried it on hanging curtains to great effect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Steam&Go Handheld garment steamer is easy to set up and easy to start using, but the actual steaming does take some getting used to. The manual said that it would take 45 seconds to heat up and be ready, which it was, however after steaming for about 5 seconds it stopped steaming and needed to warm up again. Leaving it for longer meant i didnt need to warm it up again. I did however, also run out of water/steam before I was able to finish the shirt that I was steaming.

The Steam&Go was much better suited to smaller t shirts or less wrinkled items. When using it on these it was much better and made clothes more presentable and wrinkle free. A great tool for dewrinkling in the morning before leaving for work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed by the sleek design of this product upon opening - even the husband was excited by the look of it, although this may be more the thought of not having to get the ironing board out anymore!

First use left great impressions - quick to warm up and very easy to use, and most importantly got rid of the creases on my shirt!

Only issue we found was how quickly the water tank ran out - fine for a quick once over but need refilling a couple of times when doing anything with stubborn or multiple creases.

Handling - The steamer was larger and heavier than I had anticipated but not overly so and despite having petite hands, I was able to easily hold it and operate it. After plugging in it was ready to use in less than a minute and I was able to use it on and off continuously for up to half an hour before I needed to fill the tank. However, this time did vary depending on the amount and fabric type of steaming I had to do.

Steaming - Initially, I found it quite tricky to use on the flat surface of an ironing board and this does take a bit of practice, but the steamer came into its own when being used on hanging items, items that have intricate bits (like lace collars or frilly baby dresses) and steaming in situ was brilliant; I was able to make duvet and tablecloths crease free in seconds with a few blasts of steam. I also used it on a jacket that had been stuffed in a bag and was extremely creased. A quick blast soon had it looking great. A small negative is that it can leave items slightly damp, but this was only minimal and items were still wearable immediately.

Overall - I was really pleased with the steamer, it would not replace the iron but it would be great to take on holidays where an iron is difficult or impossible to use. It’s great to keep in the bedroom for when you need to quickly freshen up a garment or to use like me as an additional tool to utilise on ironing day to make short work of that pile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Philips Steam&Go Handheld garment steamer for a couple of weeks now and it has become a permanent fixture in my bedroom.

Quite often I will have clothes hanging in the wardrobe or shoved in a drawer that have picked up a couple of creases since originally being ironed. Getting the iron and ironing board out seems like a chore so they go back in the wardrobe unused.

This is the perfect remedy. It warms up in seconds and the creases are gone with the minimum of fuss.

I've used in on everything from thick cotton shirts to delicate merino wool knitwear and it has done the job every time.

It took a couple of attempts for me to understand how to use it (should read the instructions properly!) and I now realise that the silver heat resistant mitt is essential.

It is not a replacement for an iron and ironing board, although I think it would do a half decent job, but it is great for getting rid of those annoying creases that accumulate when hanging in a wardrobe.

My friend who sells vintage clothing has already been impressed enough to buy one.

I've not taken it on holiday yet but I think it is probably small enough to put in your suitcase if you are stopping in a hotel without an iron in the room.

I initially thought the water reservoir wasn't adequate but now I've got used to it, it is easily enough for three to four garments.

Time saving on having to get out the ironing board, waiting for the iron to warm up and then dilly dallying around laying garments on each side for the perfect iron. Also you don't seem to feel the strain after ironing a few garments which is definitely a plus point.

Comfortable and light in weight, it is as simple as can be. Simple operating instructions, the handle is a bit chunky but you get used to it.

You don't get the exact result as you would when ironing on a board, but that's the point I guess, your not having to iron on a board, yet it does a good job in getting rid of most, if not all noticeable creases.

My husband has a casual linen suit jacket that he has been unable to wear because I couldn't iron it until this handheld steamer came to the rescue. I must say it took quite a while to get all the creases out and I had to fill the quite tiny water tank 3 times but this was a very stubborn garment. The bristles that you can clip on speeds up the process a lot.

This is also brilliant on my silk tops that I don't want to iron just to make it look crisp and show you mean business!

This handheld steamer is not a replacement for your trusty Philips steam iron but should be used as well as to help with suits, delicate tops, curtains, pillow covers - brilliant, and will be great to pack in your suitcase when on business trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steamer has a really nice design and feels really well made, it's compact, so easy to take on a weekend away to touch up your clothes after those terrible hotel irons.

It take less than 30 seconds to heat up, so no long waiting times. The little bottle for water is easily detachable and easy to fill.

I used tried it on several items of clothing such as Jeans, T-shirts, Shirts and a set of curtains. The steamer really kicks out some heat so after ironing my jeans I used steamer with the brush attached to get those stubborn creases out. It worked wonders on the curtains, they look amazing now, the really long cable and heat glove really help make it much easier.

Good to use on delicate fabrics like silks. The brush part helps on thick fabrics like woollen or fleece.

although the water chamber could be a bit bigger as it can only be used on kids shirts and need refilling for long dresses but i think the bigger chamber would make it heavier and not that easy to use.

over all its a great product to use while travelling or at home even on curtains or upholstery to make them wrinkle free and give a fresh look.

It's a bit bigger and weightier than I was expecting but still fairly portable and quite powerful for what it is.

The steamer is pretty easy to use - you just fill the mini water tank with tap water, plug it in and press the on switch; the light that comes on will go off when the steamer is ready to use (heat-up time is less than a minute). Point the steamer away from your face and press the steam trigger button a couple of times to get the steam flow going and then hold over your garment and press the trigger to get a continuous flow of steam, as required.

I personally found the steamer to be very effective in getting out creases from my clothes. My wardrobe is admittedly pretty full with little breathing room for my clothes, which tend to get a bit squashed as a result. I've tried the handheld steamer on dresses, t-shirts, skirts and blouses so far, as these tend to crease most easily in my wardrobe. You just hang up your garment, hold the steamer in one hand and use the glove provided to use the other hand to help stretch the garment a bit to smooth out the creases. It works! My garments are smooth and crease-free.

There's instructions and tips included in the manual for how best to angle and move the steamer depending on the type of garments you're de-creasing. You also get a little bristle attachment included in the box, useful for heavier weight garments like coats and jackets.

Overall quite pleased with my handheld steamer. It's powerful enough to do the job it's supposed to and really handy to have at hand to do de-wrinkle clothes quickly without having to get the iron and ironing board out. It's safe to use with lightweight, delicate fabrics too (which can be scary to iron). Only downsides I've noticed are a) it's a bit cumbersome due to the weight so I can only use it for short periods and b) it is on the pricey side considering there are cheaper handheld steamers available but it feels like a quality product to me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to using this steamer as I currently have a steam generator iron and although I absolutely love how speedy and great that is… I really needed something that did not require me putting up the ironing board and pulling out a great big iron… (As much as I love the steam generator iron… it’s not for a quick iron.

Although I was initially excited by the size of it, I was disappointed by the weight of it. Just like a normal iron it would be used one handed but I felt that using it vertically might prove harder work than a normal iron.

The instructions were really clear and it really is simple to use, detaching the water reservoir was easy, but I was a bit surprised to see that it only held a small amount of water but also at the same time I was relieved that it didn’t hold much as that would have added to the weight of it.

I plugged it in and turned it on and it was ready to use within 45 seconds which was great, this was defiantly something that I was after, something that I can get out quickly and reduce the creases in garments in the time it takes me to set up my ironing board and iron!

I first started by hanging a cardigan on the back of the wardrobe door and was surprised to find that the cord was not as long as I had anticipated especially when the idea would be to iron vertically? I guess one of the features I would have like to have seen is a coiled cord that would lengthen as required as this would also save space.

I found the handle quite chunky and as I had already thought it was heavy to use when ironing vertically. The silver glove protected my hand from burning whilst ironing the cardigan and although it was not as good as a properly ironed garment, it was quick and it was still wearable. I wouldn't like to do a lot of clothing vertically as my arm and shoulder began to ache after a short while.

I managed to iron horizontally and yes the result was better than vertically as it looked “pressed” (see pictures), I also loved that the SmartFlow plate means you can iron any garment safely without damaging it!

It worked nicely on school pinafores; those pleated skirts have been a nightmare to iron. However steam and go lets you just do that.

I was able to unpack some summer clothes and give them a quick steam, not only were they freshened up, but I was able to steam them and hang them up pretty much instantly so this was defiantly a speedier result than last summer. Unfortunately the steam reservoir only lasted about 12 minutes on a full steam but that did get me through 4/6 items… all of which were hung up and wardrobe ready by the end of that 12 minutes.

Overall its a handy item, it would be too big for me to travel with but I will happily store it in my wardrobe for those quick irons that I often need to do.
