The cost is going to be almost 3-4 parlour visits. Once you have it, you would like to do it yourself and feel the difference. So a must-go for it product for every girl who is willing to have a hair-free arms.

Taking about the pain - For a first few times you'll feel the pain as its actually pulling out the hair from your skin. Also your skin my turn a little red-dotted if it's too sensitive but an ice cube can do all the remedy I believe. But the skin after its use is super feeling so I'm fine to take that momentary pain for the long-lasting goodness.

Lastly - girls do believe that pulling out hair from root would mean stronger hair growth, so to that I would say there are multiple factors around it- considering the Hormones, skin type, etc.

But I'm sure this epilator is going to be there for a long term with you so no worries.

Girls... Save a few bills and get this. This will be the best investments for you, I bet. Thanks Philips.

I’ve been a Philips epilator fan for a long time so when my previous model broke, it was no question that I wouldn’t be buying Philips again. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed by this model. Whilst quieter (lovely in comparison with previous model), it doesn’t grab hairs or pulls them well enough. I find myself having to go over the same area 5 or 6 times before the hair is out. Which is painful and makes epilation last much much longer. It’s also slighly inefficient in comparison with previous model as it has less blades so it can cover a smaller area at any one time. I find it works ok on curved areas but really poorly on straighter ones. Wish it came with a second appliance for smooth areas or something like this, just like the previous model came with a smaller appliance for delicate areas.

I’m disappointed this time, this model needs improvement in my opinion.

I bought this epilator as it was in a really good price and if you google "best epilator" it usually is high in ranking. For me philips always was well known good company and I always thought that their products are up to scratch.

Not this epilator. Such a disappointment. Does not do what it said it suppose to do. You can go over and over and it only cut some of the hair. Definitely does not epilate. Waste of time and money. I truly belive this product is faulty and should not be sold to anyone.

As much as I like the design and ergonomics, this epilator breaks a lot of hairs and need to go over the same area a number of times. My old Satinelle with metallic discs was much better. It took me a long time to finish one leg, after which the epilator was very hot. I would definetely like to return it.

For over 15 years now I have been a fan of Philips epilators. I suffer from severe irritation if I use an epilator with metal disks, so ceramic disks were a real find for me. I also had 4 different models of Philips epilators.

Firstly, due to the fact that the tweezers capture less hair than previous models, the time for hair removal now takes two more times.

Secondly, the completely useless function of wet hair removal. This is completely inconvenient to do in the shower because the epilator does not slip on wet skin, which makes this process even more difficult.

And finally, battery power is enough for a very short time and there is not enough charge to complete the procedure without interrupting additional recharging. Accordingly - wireless hair removal is also a useless function.

I am sure that among the fans of Philips epilators there are a lot of users who do not need a wireless function. Therefore, I think that from the manufacturer’s side it would be more fair to take into account the preferences of those users for whom the power and speed of the epilator are important.

So my suggestion is to create another model of the epilator, which could work on electricity and have ceramic disks to remove hair.

A very bad design, does not do the only thing what it's supposed to do - pull the hair out. Slow and take about 12 goes to pull a single strand of hair, or not at all, so i have to take twisters out! Different angles or speed makes no difference. Sad and frustrating that i spent so much money on a useless thing.

I had a previous Satinelle product, which was excellent. Unfortunately, this one doesn't meet the same standards as it doesn't remove hair very well. I get fed up with trying to clear half a leg for 30 minutes so I resort to using fine eyebrow tweezers.

One recommendation would be clarity over the charger as the one supplied is the type that works in bathrooms, so an adaptor is required in the UK.

I have only used the item twice due to my experience of it.

Having used the same epilator from a different brand for over 7 years I thought I'd upgrade to a new one and I knew Philips was an excellent brand so decided to try this. When I used this product I was very disappointed to find that it did not work half as well as my 7 year old epilator and wish I hadn't bothered changing. This is a very expensive epilator and definitely not worth the money.

The design is very sleek and attractive, but ineffective. The different caps do not click on properly and just fall off once you turn the epilator on, which defeats in the point in having them. The epilator barely works on long hairs as you have to cover the same area over and over again. It doesn't even touch short hairs so it doesn't have the long lasting effect you would want from epilating. My epilator was fully charged after charging for several hours but it moves so slowly it sounds like it's low on battery when it isn't.

I am incredibly disappointed and would like a refund for this because I can't use this product and need to purchase an alternative that works.

It has 5 attatchments, 2 speed setting and can be used wet or dry.

I would advise to try areas on lower setting to build up a tolerance to the epilation.

1st using the epilator was a little painful but once getting used to the pain it was straight forward.

It has a light on the epilator itself, so you can see with a bright light where the hairs are.

It can be used on all area's, including delicate. However im not brave enough to try this as of yet.

Feels comfortable in hand, very reasonable length of time you can use it before needs a re-charge & charge time is quick!

Overall excellent product for all.

Easy to use and is great for a good shave. I prefer using this wet but great to use dry for bits I may have missed. The epilator is lightweight and a lovely colour. I would recommend

It is quick and comfortable to use and very effective against regrowth even on delicate facial areas. The separate shaving head was useful and my preference was to use the product dry rather than the wet option.

Excellent, ease of use although you do feel alittle twinge of the pulling of the hairs but well worth the end results.

Although i havent tried it on the bikini area as of yet, im sure it will be as effective as on legs and under arms. Left areas smooth and hair free!

So...... it didn't seem to pick up all the hairs on my legs and had to go over repeatedly and the final visual was not as good as id hoped. The bikini line. Well all I can say is Ouch and I wasn't so keen to have to jeep going over that area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many different epilator brands and models since I first started epilating over 15 years ago and this epilator is by far the best I have ever tried.

It is comfortable to hold and does not slip out of the hand, even when used wet in the shower. I love the curved head which makes it so much easier to glide over difficult areas such as knees and underarms without pinching the skin. The extra wide head means that more hairs are picked up with every stroke and now it takes me half as long to epilate. The ceramic discs are textured in such a way that they grip even the tiniest of hairs and pull it out rather than break the hair mid-shaft - something my previous epilator regularly did! And because the hairs are pulled out so close to the surface of the skin, it hurts less!

The epilator charges quite quickly - 1h 30m of charging gives around 40 minutes of use, which is plenty of time for a full-body hair removal session. It comes with five useful attachments which are easy to swap.

The fact that it is cordless and can be used wet and dry means that I no longer need to sit close to a socket to epilate and can use it in the shower instead and just wash off the mess. It makes hair removal far less of a chore!
