I have a Philips AC 3829 and wanted another unit without the humidifier. The AC3259 fulfils all requirements.

Heti käynnistyksen jälkeen huomaa eron huoneen ilmassa. Hieman äänekäs kun tehot nousevat, tosin varmasti syystäkin, esimerkiksi kun avataan ulko-ovi. Suodattimien huolto helppoa. Voi suositella allergiaa kärsiville ja talouksiin joissa käytetään takkaa.

After many months of wondering where all the surface dust was coming from we removed this filter from the room and....hey presto - the culprit was found. It appears that this machine sucks dust in and some of the fine stuff goes through the filters, the rest, including bigger particles, will fly up and land on anything and everything in your house.

I've just received today i have plug in it leave it to work for 1 hour in my bedroom, then I just went to the bedroom to check if there is any difference. There was a massive change in the air quality which you can tell straight away ... The product it's just brilliant !!!

I’ve had this a year now. It’s nearly £100 to change the filters. Far to expensive. This is also my second machine, the previous one starting giving off a smell which this one is now doing. I changed the filters 3 times at a cost of nearly £300 in the space of 3 weeks and the smell still remained.

Also the carbon filter goes in second which means the hepa picks up any smells it’s ruined as that’s what enters the room,

Good idea but poorly designed and has cost me an absolute fortune on filters. A waste of money now I look back.

Work very well, do what it say on the Ad, and must have for people that have hay fever allergy

its very early days at the moment but the unit itself appears to be working well. however the app is impossible. I've tried to make a connection with both my work android phone and personal iPhone and neither will connect. this is very frustrating as its one of the main reasons I purchased this model

Hiukan huolesttuvaa kun laite reakoi savuun menemällä maksimi teholle, tulipalon sattuessahan tuollainen toiminta kiihdyttää paloa.

Esim. normaalin tuikkukynttilän sammuminen saa laittee maksimi teholle..

Hyvä ilmanpuhdistin. Vaihdettavia suodattimia kaksi ja yksi pestävä. Vaihdettavia suodattimia saa ostaa nettikaupasta, mutta pestävää suodatinta onvähän hankala löytää, jos tarvii uuden.Sopii teknisesti suuntautuneille ihmisille. Hieman hankala omaksua käyttöä, jos ei ole halukas digitaalisiin laitteisiin.

Kasaus oli mielenkiintoinen projekti, kun teippiä ja pussia on riittämiin. Kännykällä sai luotua yhteyden parin yrityksen jälkeen kodin wlanin piiriin ja toimii kyllä vaikka toiselta puolen maapalloa ohjaus.

Kaikkein hitain tuulettimen nopeus tuottaa vienon, kuultavan, sirityksen. Lisäksi koko laite värisee, joka kuuluu sitten jyrinänä. Eli makuuhuoneeseen tätä ei kannata laittaa ja toivoa nukkuvansa ilman korvatulppia. Nopeimmalla tuulettimen nopeudella saattaa saada aikaiseksi taas toisenlaiset tutinat ja tärinät. Hitaimman nopeuden sirinä ilmeisesti tulee moottorin ohjauselektroniikasta, ja jyrinä siiven epätasapainon aiheuttamasta värinästä.

Kännykän kautta näkee hienosti suodattimien odotetun elinkaaren. Tosin tarina ei ihan kertonut kuinka laitteen näyttöön tullut virheilmoituksen saa nollattua. Onneksi Googlaus tuotti tulosta ja sen sai kuitattua lapsilukon-painiketta riittävän pitkään painamalla.

Laite kyllä puhdistaa ilmaa. Erillisellä PM2.5-mittarilla pystyi toteamaan pienhiukkasten vähentyneen.

I bought the Philips AC3259 Air Cleaner just before last Christmas as I spend it with a family member who owns dogs to which I am extremely allergic too. Every year Christmas was miserable for me as my pet allergies bought on severe asthma attacks, sneezing fits to the extent I use to sleep with all the windows wide open to try and get some relief until I came down with the worst glue and chest infection due to being so cold staying under these conditions. Christmas is a time of year you want to enjoy so I bought this air purifier as it had such brilliant reviews. It was worth every single penny... a week before Christmas we started running the machine to get rid of all the pet dander in the air using the pet allergy setting and for the first time in about 15yrs I stayed with this family member and their dogs all together with now indies open at all and I didn’t have to take my asthma inhaler for the whole 3 days.. it was a miracle how brilliant this machine kept the air free of any pet allergens. We have used this machine for a whole year.. and still haven’t had to replace any filters, only clean them a couple of times from fluff/pet hair.

I would 1000% recommend the Philips AC3259 Air Cleaner and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if this one should ever stop working.

Hitain nopeus aiheuttaa lattian kautta ja hiljaisuudesa kuultavaa värinää/ääntä. Nopein nopeus taas heiluttaa koko laitetta kuin erään elintä.

                  Ensi asennuskessa viimeisimmän suodattimen pois otto oli hieman ongelmallista, siihen löytyy apu kun nostaa sormella muovia pitkin ja etsii lipareen käsikopelolla.
                  Yhdistäminen verkkoon oli pettymys, koska käytettävään appi ei saa etäyhteyttä, tilastodata ei kerry mihinkään ja laite antaa suhteellisen yksioikoisen näkemyksen ilmanlaadusta. Eli kaipaisi VOC-yhdisteitä ja muita näkyviin.

Ilmanpuhdistin ollut toiminnassa 2 vk ja huoneilma parantunut huomattavasti. Käyttöönotto oli helppoa. Laite on äänetön. Välillä pitää oikein tarkistaa onko se edes päällä. Olen hyvin allerginen ja tämä laite poistaa bakteerit hyvin huoneilmasta. Suosittelen!

A good unit but suffers slightly with the Air Matters app. The unit is supposed to feedback in real-time to the app even when the unit is switched off (mains still required to be on) but seems you need to keep closing and opening the app. This in turn effects the monitoring notifications.

Nyt on pakko hehkuttaa kyseistä laitetta.

Laite reagoi nopeasti huonoon ilmaan ja kännykkäsovellus toimii erittäin hyvin.

Hiljainen yötila toimii hyvin.

Allergisen ihmisen ehdoton valinta. Suosittelen.

Worked well for the first day and great app giving total control and accurate reporting.

However , after one day the machine started to intermittently rattle / vibrate.

Extremely annoying so have now returned to John Lewis

I bought this when I felt I was suffering symptoms from Yew tree and mould in the place I rent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had this unit for several weeks, I can say I'm impressed. My wife who suffers from asthma and Hay-fever has noticed a difference which has made life better for all of us.

I have to admit, that setting this unit up was really easy, until it came to connect it to the WiFi. This unit only has 2.4ghz WiFi, so as most modern devices and routers are dual band and default to the faster 5ghz, aswell as the later android os now not having the facility to force connection to the 2.4ghz, I had to find an older device with android Jellybean to get the app to connect to the unit. Once this had been done, all the other devices with the app connected OK.

This app connection then boasted the units understanding of the air quality of where it was located and allowed it to work as it needed to.

We initially thought that this unit was quite noisy, as it often went red with the fans at max, but after a few days this settled down on it is operating all the time in the background, you wouldn't even know it was there.

I would therefore recommend this product, it will be noise initially, but its got a job to do, so bear with it, and you will reap the rewards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips 3000i series Air Purifier is an absolute God send, there are three of us in the household and we all have allergies. We cannot normally have our windows open in the hay fever season but thought we would try it now we have the Air Purifier, we were a bit sceptical that it would work but it really does, no sneezing, itchy eyes etc, the recent hot weather made us uncomfortable but now being able to have the windows open makes it bearable. The Air Purifier makes the air indoors feel like it does outside when you've had a really good thunderstorm.

This product helped me a lot with my dust allergy and hay fever. I struggle mostly at night but so far so good. The quality of my sleep improved 100%. I like especially the sleep mode because the purifier works on a lower activity level. All the indicators are dimmed, the main light is off and the fan speed is reduced so you can still enjoy a good quality of air but this allows you to sleep undisturbed.
