[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I acquired this TV from a family member, as it was surplus to requirements, and I am very pleased with it. The picture quality for an LCD Display is very good, nice brightness level with good colour rendition, even with 1080p definition streaming content, there is no noticeable artifacts, such as pixelated edges. I also don't notice any real BLOOMING effects from the backlighting, so the IPS display seems to have decent black levels in darker scenes. I have yet to try playing 4k content on the TV, but I'm sure that it will be even better than 1080p content.

Sund quality is more than adequate, with a built in Graphic Equaliser and DSP modes. The virtual surround function does actually enhance the clarity of the sound, and gives a real widening effect, even though there are only 2 speakers built in to the TV. The sound is Rich enough, and Loud enough to make the need for a soundbar unnecessary. I will however, be hooking the TV up to a 5.1 A/V receiver in the near future, to take advantage of the Dolby Digital and DTS sound processing ability, and will also add a Subwoofer for extra grunt!

The build quality is generally good, and the supplied stand is stable enough, although I wish I was able to rotate the TV a few degrees to suit different seating positions, instead of having to lift the whole TV to get the best viewing angle. Also the rear panel feels a tad flimsy, and makes this TV feel like a budget model, despite all the features, adjustments, and connectivity options, but these are only minor gripes.

Connectivity options are very good, with enough HDMI ports (x4) for most people's needs, one of which is ARC enabled. There are also Component and Composite RCA Video video/audio inputs for older accessories, as well as an Optical Digital or TOSLINK output for connecting a soundbar etc.

Wireless connectivity options are pretty good, with Bluetooth and DLNA over your WiFi network for sharing content from a Phone, Tablet, or PC, and the TV seems to keep a stable connection to WiFi, with no drop outs that I have noticed so far. And with both Terrestrial Digital/Freeview and Satelite/Freesat Tuners built in, you really couldn't ask for much more at the relatively low price point.

So in summary, I would recommend this 43" TV as a good option for a small lounge or bedroom, as it has everything most people could need, and it performs very well in terms of picture, sound, and WiFi connectivity. If the slightly flimsy rear panel is not an issue for you, then go for it, it won't disappoint.

Clear picture and fast response time. Good internet wifi connection and good set of standard apps. Sound is acceptable but benefits from a sound bar. Settings menu clear and easy to use, TV guide is very quick to load. External hard drive allows recording of tv/radio and playback of files from other devices.

This is a great TV regardless of price paid, but considering it's a low mid price bracket then I regard it as a bargain. I have it setup for Freeview and Freesat. I use the Smartapps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Plex, Youtube). I have a large Bluetooth speaker that I occasionally connect. I have a USB hard drive attached to enable recording and pausing of live TV. The interface looks good, is smooth and updates unobtrusively but regularly. The only issue is that when using Freesat the picture in picture doesn't work within the guide. This is a known problem with the freeview guide not working properly with freesat and there isn't a fix. It is therefore a marketing problem.

Great picture, good value TV, that is only marred by very slow EPG and slow channel changing, and a record to USB feature that is temperamental at best. Perhaps at this price I'm being too picky, the prime function is the picture and this really is very good.

Pienin TV mitä löysin toimittajilta kohtuuhintaan. Vaatimuksena myös siedettävä ulkoasu. Tässä hyvä hinta-laatu-suhde.

Hyvä kuvanlaatu suoraan paketista mitään asetuksia säätelemättä. Mutta niin pitää ollakin ja aivan sama mitä asetukset on niin varmasti 100 kertaa parempi kuin vanha kuvaputki-TV. Ääni ei varmaan mikään huippu, mutta riittävä.

Asennus aika helppo. Areena-, Ruutu-, mtv- ja YouTube-sovellukset täytyi erikseen ladata LG:n kaupasta, ei löytynyt valmiina. Muutkin sovellukset oli heti päivitettävä. Sen jälkeen kaikki toimi kyllä hyvin.

Kunnollinen tukeva keskijalusta mahdollisti vanhan, melko pienen TV-tason käytön. Laitteen peruskäyttö ja sovellukset oli helppo oppia käyttämään tavallisellakin kaukosäätimellä, eikä ohjekirjaa tarvinnut paljoakaan selailla. Painettua varsinaista käyttöohjetta ei tosin tullut mukana suomenkielisenä, mutta englanniksi kyllä ja suomikin löytyy varmaan netistä.

Sitä sain, mitä luvattiin. Hiukan vaikea selkoinen oli kanavien selaus, mutta nyt jo luonnistuu hyvin.

Bought it in January and so happy with it amazing quality

Tästä tuotteesta oikeastaan jäin ainoastaan kaipaamaan totuttua AUX-pistoketta, jolla olisin saanut vanhat langattomat kuulokkeet toimimaan.

We're delighted with this TV. Excellent picture and sound and easy to install. We didn't need a manual, just followed on-screen instructions.

This arrived today. Setting up was not as easy as expected since I expected HDMI ports numbers 1 and 2 at the back. Instead 3 and 4 were on the back and 1 and 2 on the side.

For a 4K TV I expected a better picture than my 6 year old Panasonic (non 4K). It also does not work with my surround sound system (but maybe that it not LG's fault but using HDMI ARC it is supposed to work). However, the sound on the TV is better than expected so maybe I won't miss it with TV usage and only use the surround sound with the DVD player that drives it..

Excellent picture, sound and value. I bought this TV as a replacement for an old 1080 set.

Nice TV spoilt by enormous crescent shaped support which would not fit on my corner unit. I had to replace this with a Tabletop Pedestal Bracket TV Stand (bought on eBay for £20) using the Vesa screw connectors. Also disappointing that LG now removes the simple 3.5mm headphone jack sockets from its TV's.

We brought this TV in November, the sales assistant recommended this as we were looking at another popular brand. How glad are we that the recommendation was followed. Fantastic picture and easy to navigate through the smart channels which was also easy to set up

This TV is new and not coming with the LG Magic Remote, I have to pay around £ 47 extra just for that! I wish it had more than one year warranty!

Laitteessa on hyvä kuva, ääni on mitä näissä litteissä nyt on. Valitettavasti 2kk:n käytön jälkeen kuvaan ilmestyi vaakasuora viiva yli kuvan, eli yksi pikselirivi meni pimeäksi. Huolto haki laitteen pois ja nyt odotellaan yhteydenottoa korvaavan saamiseksi.

I bought this middle of September, has everything you would want from a 4K TV, in fact it is so good I am going to buy another one just for my bedroom, the only thing I didn't like was the instruction book is a little lame hence why I gave a 4 star rating.
