It is a wonderful Camera that takes lovely pictures. It is very easy to use and the additional 55-200mm lens is compact enough to take out of family days out!

I have problems with the EVF. There is a notable lag between putting my eye to the EVF before I see an image, causing many missed shots, because the subject, normally a small bird, has moved. Also the Image Stabilization on the lens, the excellent Canon EF 70- 200 mm f/4 l is usm, operates as soon as the M50 is turned on, using large amounts of battery power. I wish I had never bought the M50. I have actually bought the 90D and will never buy Mirrorless again

Great Camera. I recommended. Good for Vlogging or making any nice videos for yourself or Youtube.

The camera EOS M50 is a good camera. I'm a novice and not an expert. But I find it a very good camera. But I'm disappointed with the customer service.

I bought this a few wqeeks ago as a gift for my daughter whos moving to London in September to atteend a Performing Arts School. She needs a camera for logs, self tapes, audition work, etc. and this is what she needs and more. The auto focus as she moves around is fantastic. The screen makes self taping so much easier. The ease of use and weight of the camera make it a fantastic alternative to my DSLR that she currently borrows.

Hello. I don’t know why so many people who have a camera review are always trying to highlight that it is so bad! Before you buy the camera, you have time to think, and then decide whether or not to buy. I used the camera several months and it was very good for me and I am completely satisfied with it. The battery lasts in use and all specifications are very suitable, I have no dispute in shooting video. When one has to shoot a 4K video, consider the distance, and this is a very intuitive thing, not that big problem. For my part, I find the camera very cool, and thank you Canon for that camera. Also the auto foucs system is very good and fast I love it. Thanks again Canon.

I love this camera but so far at least 5times all my files got corrupted ,even while the battery was full,during shooting,and I even changed 5 different sundisk ultra fast memory cards. And this is such a bummer cause that camera was perfect for my needs

I've always used Canon cameras - point and shoot and then a few DSLR's and finally made the move from DSLR to Mirrorless camera - the M50 was the chosen product, and so far I have no regrets over the move. A very decent piece of kit, small and compact, lightweight and the connectivity to the phone is really fast and helpful to share images with my friends and family. 4K video is really GOOD - highly recommend getting a serious memory card if you are to shoot video. The user interface is very similar to the DSLR so I have no problems there. Some of the controls are slightly different but nothing to bad. The positive factor is the M-Adapter which means I can carry on using my existing range of Canon lenses and not having to shop around again. I recommend this camera to anyone starting out, wanting to move away from DSLR or even if you know you're way around a camera. A really good piece of kit.

I’ve had my M50 for a while now and I love it. I am generally using it with the ef adapter and my favourite L series, but I do have a few M Serie lenses that produce great results.

Camera body is really nice, with an ok button layout, with easy to access functions and a grip that is pretty decent and relatively deep.

Now although I am personally awaiting news on the next R series as I’m after a purpose made model for my wildlife photography (hobby), the M50 is a great camera and does pretty much everything you could want and at a competitive price.

Really nice camera especially fall in love with it's electronic viewfinder. It save lot of time. Very easy to use even beginners just like a smartphone.

I left my EOS 5D at home by accident when heading for a cruise to Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. At the airport I bought the M50 kit. What a surprise a camera that performs as well as all of my big DSLR's yet doesn't weigh anywhere near as much. The results were outstanding.

I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone who's an enthusiast but needs a camera that saves on space and weight not on quality. I have since bought the EOS M adapter so it can also use all my EOS lens.

I got this camera to replace a Nikon D7000 which was just too big. This camera offers image quality equal to that of much bigger cameras like the Canon 80D yet is small enough to carry everywhere and just lives in my bag.

I bought this camera on 9/12/2018, I have used for a few hours very happy so far, I know it is not a full frame camera for this letter camera has a lot to have great pictures and record as well. I will use it for a few more days and I will explore more about this camera. I am a Canon man love Canon camera they way they build them so good and solid.

Over all very good camera. over all best functions. Very good battery backup. good focus point. picture quality is so good.

I bought this camera for my daughter, in all sincerity I didn't expect such a quality and versatility. The quality of the files is superlative, the communication with the dedicated app, once is set works seamless. Very good value for money.

Played around with it, haven’t been on a proper shoot yet but the new tech makes everything so much easier!

On kyllä hyvä. Opettelemista on aika paljon että opin kaikki hienot tehosteet, mutta se ei oo mahdottomuus ;D olen tyytyväinen

Kulkee mukana huomattavasti mukavammin kuin aikaisempi peilijärkkäri. Sovittimella vanhat objektiivit toimivat hyvin. Akun kesto voisi olla hieman parempi, yli päivän reissu vaatii lisäakun mukaan, etenkin jos videota kuvaa enemmänkin.

Olen harrastanut valokuvausta ja käyttänyt Canonin digijärkkäreitä n. 15 vuotta. Tämä on ensimmäinen mikrojärkkärini, jonka tarkoitus on toimia ns. arkikamerana jonka voi ottaa mukaan melkein minne tahansa. Lisäksi kuvien jako puhelimeen on helpohkoa. Koko ja kuvien jakomahdollisuus, sekä mahdollisuus käyttää vanhoja objektiivejani olivat tärkeimmät ostopäätökseeni vaikuttavat tekijät. Hintakin oli o.k.

Kokemuksia:

• Canon on Canon eikä käyttölogiikan kanssa tule yllätyksiä.
• Älypuhelimiin tottuneille käyttöliittymä on toki edelliseltä vuosituhannelta. Digijärkkäreitä tai digikameroita ylipäätään aiemmin käyttäneille toiminnot ovat tuttuja.
• Kuvien automaattisen siirron konfigurointi on yllättävän työlästä. Kyllä ne kuvat puhelimeen siirtyvät, mutta asetukset vaativat hieman perehtymistä.
• Kuvanlaadussa ei ole moittimista. Mukana tuleva objektiivi on laadultaan sellainen kuin saattaa odottaa, eli riittää lähes kaikkeen mutta ei tietenkään yllä ammattilaisputkien tasolle. Aukon koon rajoitteet haittaavat itseäni kaikkein eniten.
• Hankin samalla adapterin jolla vanhat EF-objektiivini saa kameraan kiinni. En ole vielä testannut sitä, koska isoilla putkilla olen käyttänyt vanhoja kameroitani.
  
  

Yhteenvetona voin suositella tätä sillä varauksella että puhelinlinkin konfigurointi on hieman työlästä.

Upgraded to this from the M3 because I preferred the form factor of this scaled down DSLR looking CSC. I have to say is packed with features, but I was expecting a bit better build quality and feel. It does feel slightly plastic. The kit 15-45 lens is good quality and early on does record excellent images. I have not explored the video features just yet, but to be honest this was not my main reason to upgrade. Autofocus is much faster than the M3 and the M50 seems to deal better with EF lense straight away without having to mess too much with the settings.

So happy to buy the eosm50 it’s a quality
